Samus takes out a small object, a portable version of ADAM seperate from her suit, finally deciding to directly talk to him, as she enters Whiterun. Turning it on, ADAM immediately gives Samus a status update.

"Samus, the attack on your gunship has left you vulnerable. Additionally, the level of technology in the area indicates that the planet you have landed on has not reached a level past the mideval period, at the very most, although it is, or, was, inhabited. Additionally, while temperatures are safe now, they will likely lower soon. I advise you make the most of those ship parts which fell off, and get some warm clothes, Lady. Metroid DNA or no, some warm clothes will at the very least lessen the impact of subzero temperatures."

Samus quickly replies "I knew most of that already, ADAM, But thank you for the advice."

Adam replies by saying "Stay safe, Lady." before shutting down. Samus quickly gets to work, Grabbing materials from her ship and bringing them to the skyforge, attempting to make some rudimentary gear, while stealing a winter coat. A stolen coat isn't that much of an issue when survival is on the line.

Three figures cross paths in the streets of the ash-covered mining town.

"So..."

"Here we are again, eh?"

"This is unnecessary. There is no more conflict to resolve."

"Oh, yes there is. I'd like a third round."

"No complaints here."

Raiden◊ and Jetstream Sam◊ draw their high-frequency swords as Blade Wolf◊ looks on. History looks all set to repeat.

Hotel del Rey, Whiterun Outskirts

Raven Rock

Shadows may fall over the three as some things appear to be flying over them. If they look up, they'll see Space Pirates◊ with jetpacks, with a handful of them carrying a cage that has something in it.

Before they can really react, some of those Space Pirates, upon spotting them, drop to the ground and glare at them threateningly.

"We were ordered to leave no survivors if we were seen. Any last words?", one of them snarls at Raiden, Jetstream Sam and Blade Wolf. The fact that they were flying out in the open likely means that they purposely did so to have an excuse to kill some people.

Once Charlie begins to dream, she would once again be greeted by Ferdinand von Bernard◊ in the cloudy, heaven-like background.

"Greetings, Charlotte.", he says, voice sounding as warm as soft as before. Unfortunately though he's currently speaking with the 'mouth moves up and down almost robotically' way rather than his mouth being shut. So that's probably a little weird to look at again.

"... Well, this is a problem." Sam shrugs and looks at Raiden.

"Why don't we humor our dear Wolfy, Jack? Instead of a fight, let's make it a contest. Whoever gets the most kills, wins."

The Only Thing I Know for Real

"You're on." Raiden pivots to face the approaching Space Pirates.

It Has To Be This Way

"This battle is pointless."

"So you don't want in?"

Blade Wolf's grasping prehensile tail grabs the HF Chainsaw off his back. "I did not say that."

I'm My Own Master Now

Charlie 'opens her eyes' to see Ferdinand. "Uhhhhh... h-hi."

Whiterun, The Skyforge

The sound of a forge in use rings out across whiterun, as Samus, with some help from ADAM which she may or may not need, makes some equipment out of broken pieces of her ship. Some basic armour with padding to help with insulation and protection from the cold, A spear, and a shield, similar to that that ceremonial chozo warriors would wield. She puts on the gear, and practices using a spear against some training dummies, occasionally using her stun gun in combination with the spear instead of her shield.

Tropique

Pietro is presently going for a stroll on Tropique's beach, the ocean breeze blowing through his silver hair.

The Space Pirates get ready to attack as well.

"Hey, wait, what do we do with our catch?", one of the Pirates that's still in the air asks while pointing at the cage.

"Just hide her somewhere and come join us after!"

"Sure, but if the boss gets angry from impatience, I'm not gonna be the one to report why we were late."

The Space Pirates in the air are about to fly away to hide the cage, while the ones on the ground now open their claws and open fire with energy shots.

Space Pirates

"You have successfully spoken to Springtrap, as I had said you would be able to do. Unfortunately it was cut short right after. And now it seems like speaking to him directly is no longer an option.", Ferdinand von Bernard says.

"Still, the stage is set for your friend's unfinished business to be finished. Soon enough, you may come across a way to meet Springtrap in person. If you take that way, then you may get the chance to do what must be done."

Hub Centralis

...Hm? Somehow, it feels safe now.

He looks at the slash of the Mannequin to see that, effectively, it looks dark and empty.

What could happen if I knock it softly? He does it, to know if its hollow or not by the sound of the knocks.

He begins to poke the doll in the right cheek, sounding disappointed about it not being able to oof him anymore.

   could it be a doll for perverts or something i mean the size is here and yeah forget that    He eyes the younger members of the gathering.

   maybe it was used as a dummy for attacks heh sounds plausible with that tear

Sarah is chilling on a longchair by one of the countless beaches in Tropique, realm of the tropical islands. She seems content in doing nothing so far, and is wearing thick sunglasses over her regular glasses. She's currently in a isolated spot of Tropique, to avoid being interr-

Then the thunder strikes, and THOR appears, kicking up a whole-ass storm over Tropique!

SARAH IS IT TIME TO FIGHT?!

Not yet, not yet. Huh... A day would do it. She says, before motioning quietly at him with her right hand.

THEN TOMORROW WILL BE TIME TO FIGHT HUZZAH! Thor leaves, along with his storm, and Sarah sighs before stretching on the longchair. Her body makes a ton of weird noises before she smiles relaxedly.

The MGR characters scatter from the energy blasts.

Raiden rushes in, sweeping his HF blade in horizontal arcs. It vibrates at a high enough frequency (hence the name 'HF') to cut through solid rock and metal.

Sam spreads his arms. "Awful poor aim for professionals."

If any Space Pirates take notice of his taunt, they will be put into a rage state where they can only attack Sam and do so with all their fury, but are far less durable.

Blade Wolf lunges for a single Space Pirate, aiming to bite down on it, throw it into another Pirate, and then split clean through both of them in one swing of his HF Chainsaw.

"..."

Charlie isn't sure whether to question 'how to meet springtrap in person' or 'what needs to be done'.

Ultimately, she decides to ask a totally unrelated question. "A little while ago... I found a fortune-telling robot. It had these special personalized tarot cards, and mine showed a darkness preying upon me and the other kids. There was an animatronic face in the darkness, and after the card was shown, I saw... a bunch of letters."

She traces them with her finger and a trail of dark energy - RWQFSFASXC.

"Do you know anything?"

Tropique

"Why do I have to be searching with you?"

   "You don't. I just insist on coming along."   

Pietro can hear two voices approaching. One, a feminine voice, is completely unfamiliar, but the other is similarly robotic to one he's heard before.

Callis flies down near Sarah, popping a capsule with her own beach chair, drinks, and umbrella. She promptly takes a seat.

Pietro's ears perk up upon overhearing the discussion, the first voice sounding oddly familiar to him for some odd reason. Intrigued, he comes to a halt before looking in the direction said conversation was coming from.

Not expecting that level of power from Raiden's blade, one unfortunate Space Pirate is struck through his armor, being dealt a lethal blow.

"You'll regret that!", another Space Pirate says as he lunges at Raiden from the left, attempting to grab him by his neck and shatter it with his claw.

Most of the other present Space Pirates hear Sam's taunt and are affected, taking the bait and charging while attempting to fill him with holes with their laser blasts.

Another Space Pirate gets caught by Blade Wolf, yeeted against one of the furious Space Pirates that was going for Sam, and the two of them are then bisected.

"Just drop the cage in one of these buildings and call the boss, this is looking bad.", one of the airborne pirates says before joining the fray, staying in the air and launching a blast of lightning down at Blade Wolf.

Despite Ferdinand's expression not shifting, Charlie may get the feeling that he was caught off guard by her question, as he doesn't immediately answer.

"No, that does not sound familiar.", Ferdinand eventually says. "But it sounds dangerous. A future threat perhaps. It will be best to keep a close eye on yourself and the others. Perhaps I too should..."

A sudden pause.

"No, disregard that. Be sure to be wary and all should be well. The power you possess is stronger than that of any regular animatronic.", he says, now speaking in 'closed mouth mode' again, which is a little more pleasant to look at.

Sarah stays quiet, but then grabs her own drink and offer it up, looking to have a brief toast with her before downing her drink.

Then, she sit still for several minutes, before getting curious enough to ask Looking to relax huh? I get it.

The sound it makes is

Indescribable.

It's a horrific thud, like a literal ton of nails scraping against a titanic chalk board, so grand in scale that the horrible high pitched sound blends in a low cacophony, but somehow worse.

Yet at the very same time, the sound isn't actually very loud at all, just monstrously horrific.

The doll begins to slowly shake.

   nice    Is all he bothers to say about this.

Raiden's neck is made of metal. He just stands there with the Space Pirate's claw around his neck, before attempting to impale it on his sword.

Raiden Kills: 1

Jetstream Sam performs a fucking cartwheel to avoid the energy blasts, then sheathes his HF Murasama and hunkers down with his robotic arm ready to catch the blade and another hand on his sheath.

Oh. OH. The sheath is a gun.

Sam fires Murasama out of its sheath and catches it mid-launch, letting the blade yank him towards the taunted pirates with an explosion of slashes in every direction to try and dice them all to pieces. Between their being Mooks, Murasama being the most powerful HF Blade of them all, and the taunt making them more frail, he can absolutely do that.

please include how many pirates die

Sam Kills: 0

Blade Wolf gets blasted down by the electric attack. Without getting up, he throws a superheated throwing knife capable of melting bricks at the offending Space Pirate's head.

Blade Wolf Kills: 1

Charlie nods. "Got it."

"So, what now?"

It's a pair of strange individuals walking down the beach. One, the one whose voice Pietro recognized, is the cube form of Mettaton, and the other appears to be Chara if he were a girl. With a perpetual Cat Smile.

"Oh, thank the king, someone else."

   "Hello."

"Yeah, cool, cool."

Beat

"What do you... do? Anymore?"

Callis looks over at Sarah. "I don't think we've met in person, but my job is focused around time travel, so I know who you are. Your story is over. ... I don't know what that's like. So what do you do now? Fighting forever and taking care of kids, is that all you have left?"

Her face isn't condescending, but pleading. She wants reassurance that that isn't all.

Sarah stays briefly motionless, and then look to Callis with a teasing grin. Oh wow, I thought you'd ask me how I find such good spots down in Tropique instead. Then she does straighten up on her chair and look a little bit more serious.

Well as of now, I'm cooling off at a nice beach. It looks like everything's ensured I just know that... well life likes to throw a curveball when you think you're settled down and comfortable. As it happens, I do like what I'm doing right now.

But... she raise a finger. Life doesn't always lead us to the paths we have in life. Sometimes, you got to find them first and all. It seems like I've only got to raise my kids and fight all manner of stuff... but I guess that's only if I'm content with it. It's all about looking for something to do, for me. If you look for it, there's always something that "hey, I'd like doing that" or "hey that's a neat job!" Travel across the world, or universe, with a s at the end in some cases, find stuff that you're curious about, meet folks who'll change your life, all that jazz!

There's always a lot to the world around us that, if we're ever bored, we can find something pretty damn fascinating if we just look for it. If I ever get bored of fighting, and... between us, I doubt that'll happen, so instead when my kids are adults with houses of their own, I'll probably look for something else to fill my time with. What it'll be, I don't know, but that's the fun of it.

Hub Centralis

Layton drops the doll startled by the noise and the shaking.

Professor! What happens?

I... Don't know. The doll just moved by itself!

The Space Pirate is so taken aback that he doesn't really react in time before getting impaled. Gasping in pain, he lets Raiden go before falling over on his back, as good as dead. Simple, yet effective.

The Space Pirates charging towards Jetstream Sam, on the other hand, are completely decimated by Sam's rather creative attack. No less than 10 Space Pirates are cut into pieces, with the last one of the group only surviving because he got lucky that the attack missed.

"Son of a-", he shrieks, leaping at Sam once the latter stands still again, attempting to grab him by his neck as well, but unlike the Pirate that attacked Raiden, this one will try to twist and snap Sam's neck instantly if he gets a grip on him.

The airborne Space Pirate dodges Blade Wolf's knife... only for it to hit the back of one of the Space Pirates carrying the cage, killing that one instead and making the cage too heavy to be held by the others, who drop down to the ground along with the cage. They don't die upon impact, but they're definitely dazed.

The flying Space Pirate now charges down towards Blade Wolf, launching small but powerful missiles from the sides of his jetpack.

"Soon, you and Andrew will meet a man. A shady-looking man. But this man will be able to bring you to Springtrap. This man will not harm either of you, and you will know it is the right man when he speaks Springtrap's first name.", Ferdinand says.

"I know it must feel awkward for you to have to seek out Springtrap, even if the man inside is not the one who murdered u-the children. But reuniting Andrew with his brother is the necessary step you'll need to make. It is the only way to help him."

His voice turns a little softer.

"I know you want to help him. That is why I came to you. You are trustworthy and brave. You will put aside your uncertainty and nervousness to help Andrew, won't you?"

Raising an eyebrow at the unlikely duo, Pietro decides to approach Mettaton and Chara, remaining cautious in case the latter decides to try anything funny.

"Either Alphys managed to work a freaking miracle when I wasn't looking, or you're another version of Mettaton who found his way here. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's the second one," he remarks. "And my gut's telling me that your buddy has way less in common with the Chara I know besides their gender."

Laxin swats the fireball away, sending it careening down the hall and slamming into the end of the corridor. McNinja is able to maneuver himself behind the Sith and wrap his neck tie around the dark lord's neck. Struggling against the doctor's grip, he raises his hand and shoots out a burst of force lightning toward Mega Man X. Then, enhancing his speed for the briefest moment, he brings his body crashing into the wall behind him in a blur.

If it succeeded, he would follow it up by bashing McNinja with the back of his head, then bring his free hand over his shoulder and throw McNinja over him and into the opposing wall. Regardless of success, Vergil's flurry of attacks all connect, sending Laxin skidding down the hall.

Alex slams his hands to his ears and grimaces.

"FUCKING CHRIST!"

He tries to actually kick it away in an unholy blend of anger and being super startled.

X being 1. a robot and 2. in a form with a built-in electricity weakness causes him to get bodied by the Force Lightning. He crashes against the wall, denting it.

Dr. McNinja doesn't fare much better, yelping as he gets smashed against the wall, loosening his grip enough for Laxin to pry him off and throw him away.

Vergil opts to get down low and spam Judgement Cuts on Laxin, sending a storm of slashes towards him without even approaching.

Raiden sets his sights on the Pirates near the cage, pulling out a rocket launcher and shooting a homing missile at one of them.

Raiden Kills: 2

Sam chuckles and flicks the Murasama to clean it of blood. Unfortunately, though, he is not a full cyborg - only his arm is mechanical - so he has to leap away to avoid getting his neck snapped.

Conveniently, the taunt's effects expire moments later, causing the surviving Pirate to lose strength but gain back some durability - what little he had.

Sam Kills: 10

Blade Wolf performs a spinning leap to the side to avoid the flying Space Pirate's missiles, countering with two more Heat Knives. As the squishiest of the three, he must dodge as much as he can.

Blade Wolf Kills: 2

Don't think Charlie missed that Last-Second Word Swap. Her eyes narrow at Ferdinand slightly.

"... Yeah, I will. I've gone too far to give up now. All I'll need is a little help... and I already have that."

"... Did he say 'another version of Mettaton'?"

Gremlin Chara practically bounces up and down in place, ignoring the comment directed at her.    "Omigod omigod omigod we've been searching for FOREVER!"   

"Ahem. What she's trying to say is that we've actually been looking for someone who knows about the Mettaton you mentioned. I was hoping to bring back my male counterpart."

... Male counterpart, it says.

Callis just kind of blankly stares as Sarah explains.

"... Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Mm-hmm. I see."

...

She takes a sip of a tropical beverage.

"That's... deep. I didn't really think about it that hard, so I was just kind of panicking. With nothing to do, nobody who needs saving, no more battles that need me in them to win... it felt almost like my life was over. But now I see. I just have to find something else to focus on. Right?"

That's pretty much how it goes. The world's big, teeming with opportunities. If you feel like your current course of life's... not so satisfying anymore, there's always a possibility to seek out something else.

She then gives a curt, but not impolite, laugh. Oh, I can empathize, don't worry! But if you need a bit of advice, see if you're not just having a burn-out of a sort. Though I say, taking a vacation and talking with other people's a very good day to solve one, if you want.

I should've done that, in hindsight, when that business with my kids happened. Instead of fighting Mara, I should've cooled off somewhere. Kind of forgot her whole transformation thing, how cheap is that? And her permanent death thing, urgh... But I guess I had a clearer head after this. 'Specially coz I realized that I was this close to not having a head anymore.

She laughs a little and then stops halfway through. Bitch. Sarah look at the distance, then back at Callis. Sorry, I ramble.

That one snaps out of it right before the missiles hit, only allowing him to let out a slightly comically-timed shriek before he gets blasted to bits.

However, this catches the attention of the other two Pirates, who now start to hover above the ground with their jetpacks before firing missiles at Raiden as well.

The Pirate snaps out of it, growling at Sam.

"You think you can play around with us!? How dare you humiliate us when you're nothing but food for our boss!?"

He opens his claws and fires more potent and concentrated lasers at him.

The flying Pirate dodges the two knives again while still headed downwards, proving to be quite the slippery one. He then tries to grab Blade Wolf by the tail, and if successful will attempt to fly back up and drag him into the air with him, clearly intent on getting up high enough to drop Blade Wolf for a lethal fall.

"Thank you.", Ferdinand says, apparently not catching that Charlie noticed. "Once they have been reunited, I will appear before you one last time. There will be one final thing that has to be done then, but I will tell you when that time comes. Simply focus on the task at hand for n-"

Suddenly, the dream seems to glitch a bit, and it doesn't appear to be Ferdinand's doing as he continues to talk, even though he'll be illegible to Charlotte.

This should snap her awake instantly. And if she wakes, then looks at the foot of her bed, she will see a violently twitching Golden Freddy◊ sitting there. What's Andrew doing up so late and staring at her anyway?
