Hub Centralis

Mórag and Brighid are just... having a stroll. Nowhere else in existence could afford them such a golden opportunity.

"You know, I've heard that nothing here stays around for long. Is that really true? Can a place be that impermanent.", Brighid comments on their surroundings. "Even just today, this street has changed since the last time we walked upon it."

Mórag glances around. "It is disconcerting. Almost as if this is some sort of... elaborate illusion. Considering all we have seen here, I would not be surprised in the least."

Zoro suddenly appears... mundanely, walking his way out of a shop. He doesn't appear to notice either women.

That useless cook ran off! That's smart of him, but I'll track him down. He ponders.... Hmmm, how though? Oh, I know. He starts glancing around.

Brighid seems to notice Zoro having a heck of a time figuring out where this useless cook ran off to. Advantages of having such an eye for trouble.

"That man over there, doesn't he seem troubled?", Brighid points out.

"Certainly so. Shall we see what has happened?", replies Mórag with a slight smile.

Brighid smiles back. "But of course. Lead the way."

The two of them casually approach Zoro.

"It seems you are having some troubles.", Mórag says, honestly kind of awkwardly. "Do you... require some assistance?"

Hm? Yeah. That useless blond ran off and I need to find him. Have you seen him?

He pull out a wanted poster, which is concerning because it implies that he's looking for someone with a bounty on his head.

Blond. Weird eyebrows. Placid look on his face. Kicks a lot because he's not man enough to use his hands. Have you seen him?

He ponders. ... You're probably in luck if you haven't, he's got a thing over obsessing with women.

Fallen Ike roars as he swings Ragnell with vicious fury at the figure before him.

   "I will have that."   

A serrated bone sword stops the holy zweihander, and with a free hand, the foe reaches out and pries the medallion containing the imprisoned Yune from his neck.

The fury suddenly leaves Ike as he collapses on all fours. "No... you mustn't... p-put that down now!"

   "Hmhmhm... I don't think I will. And so another goddess falls into my clutches."   

A (non-snowy) forest in Skyrim

A dark, puddle-like portal appears on the ground, from which an arm sprouts. It feels up the ground around the portal before a second arm sprouts from it, both hands planted firmly on the ground as they try to push back against the ground. A vague, humanoid shape proceeds to force its way through the portal as well. The goop resists for a bit, but eventually breaks off, allowing a pair of white wings with black feather tips to sprout out of it before the rest of the shape manages to escape the portal with an exhausted gasp.

He appears to be some sort of black-haired angel, wearing dark but loose clothing with a small chain necklace around his neck. His eyes are hidden behind sunglasses, but a scar still visibly runs over his left eye.

Once he's out of the portal, with it vanishing behind him, he promptly falls on the ground face first, letting out some exhausted breaths.

"Finally! I thought it would never end.", he mutters before turning over to lie on his back. He squints his eyes a little as he looks up, even his sunglasses not fully protecting him against the shine of the sun above him.

... wait.

"Is that... the sun?", he asks himself as he sits upright, sounding surprised. "Wait... did I mess up? Am I on..."

He goes silent for a bit, looking around as if waiting for something to happen. ... But nothing does.

"... if this was Earth, someone would've come for me by now. This has to be the place Refia was sent to."

He looks down at his hands as they grab a hold of the soft grass underneath him. He doesn't remember the last time he'd touched ground this comfortable. ... has he ever touched ground this comfortable?

A weak gust of wind blows through his hair, momentarily startling him before realizing that it's just wind, nothing more.

He finds that it's pretty warm. Comfortably so. After all this time, he had forgotten that warmth could feel comfortable, too used to the pressuring atmosphere back home. All of this together feels so relaxing, so peaceful...

He takes off his sunglasses, blinking as his red-colored eyes adjust to the natural light of the area. A smile grows on his face.

"I think I'm going to like it here.", he says before laying back down, using the grass as a bed as he rests. He puts his arms behind his head, laying in a relaxed pose.

"I'll probably come across Refia eventually.", he mutters to himself, yawning. "No hurry or need to play babysitter in a place this peaceful."

Hotel Del Rey

Seiros◊, who had been out for a bit, is now on her way back to the hotel. Having healed up from her earlier fight not too long ago, she wanted to get out of the constant comfort at the hotel and get back out there, displeased with how difficult the fight had been for her without using her trump card. She hadn't wandered all that far away from it, but at least she got some walking in for now. She'd still have to work on her technique again eventually.

Hotel Del Rey

Geo◊ is in the lobby drinking coffee when he gets an overwhelming sense of dread. He looks behind himself and sees quite a handsome mug◊ staring into his soul.

   "Boy. I know you travel with Seiros. Where is she?"

Geo, concluding that this man is definitely out to kill, stands up, puts his visor on and draws his sword. She won't need to worry about you.

   "My, what bravado..."    Nemesis calmly steps forward, crashing through the wall and into the room without breaking his stride.

In another room, Paintra's◊ personal abode inside a painting of her workshop is rattled by the sounds of battle. She emerges from it and rushes to join.

Erma◊ simply emerges from the basement.

Charlotte Emily is snoozing in a room. She decided it would be best to stay out of the lobby for the time being.

That does not stop her from being jolted awake by the sound of drywall and fiberglass insulation tearing like paper.

Andrew◊, apparently ever the heavy sleeper, doesn't seem to fully wake from the sound. Enough that he's somewhat aware, but his eyes are still closed and he's not in a hurry to move around.

Seiros is close enough to hear something bursting through a nearby wall. It takes her a moment to realize the sound came from the hotel though, and she starts rushing back, sword drawn.

Onyxis

A newcomer stands at the top of an enormous rocky structure, which he's fashioned into a whole ass throne for himself, with 90% of the rock being a pillar upon which a very elaborate stone throne resides. It's huge, enough that the actual person on it is very small.

They also happens to be drinking from a miniature barrel with a nuclear sign on it. And anyone close enough will see that the grey humanoid is, indeed, consuming radioactivity. It's tall and dressed in a fine golden costume, similar to what a Toreador would wear to the Arena.

What a meager meal for one such as I! He toss the drink away and stand up. I must seek greater nourishment! A feast!

Geo goes flying back, landing on all fours in a corner. He wipes some dirt off his face with one sleeve, then dashes forward with a shoulder charge - and Nemesis goes flying back.

   "You have no gifted power, yet you can match me blow for blow. Impressive, but ultimately not enough."    Nemesis is surrounded by a purple fiery Battle Aura as he stands up and calmly continues his advance.

"Hm."

Oooh, he seems serious. What is he up to today?

SI!Rbade wakes up◊ due to all the commotion going on downstairs.

"Grmlagrmgrknglagurglgrhapgargbrggrpghgr..."

He slaps a pair headphones over his head and curls up into a deeper spot on his bed. Fuck y'all, I'm tired.

When Seiros makes it to the entrance of the hotel, she needs a moment to believe what she's seeing.

But only a moment.

Her eyes settle into a dangerous glare before she, without warning, charges towards Nemesis from behind and attempts to brutally impale him on her blade.

Lucas may eventually hear some electronic beeping noises very close to his current location, as if someone is out here in the middle of the city using some kind of machine.

Nemesis notices Seiros coming and holds out a hand. Her sword stabs through his palm, but he takes that opportunity to grip it and pull her closer.

   "How kind of you to come right to me. Now then..."   

He raises his Dark Sword of the Creator overhead to strike, but before he can swing, Erma rams into him like a human/ghost missile, knocking him away.

Geo draws the EXE Blade, rushing towards Nemesis.

Paintra shows herself next, coming out behind Seiros. She waits, to assess the situation.

Charlie comes in last, though she's just watching, confused, for now.

Lucas is alerted, and turns to look for the source of the noise.

"Hello?"

"Some kind of machine..."

Seiros gets gripped, her glare not letting up even when Nemesis is about to kill her. She does look momentarily surprised when Erma comes to her aid though.

"Wait, children! This man is too dangerous for you to fight! Hide!"

Geo is already attacking him though, so Seiros has no option but to charge ahead as well to try to keep Geo from getting himself killed."]]

"Nemesis!", she hisses out with hatred in her voice as she launches magical flames at her arch nemesis.

Meanwhile, the further sound of fighting has Andrew turning, then falling out of bed once more, startling him awake.

"Mmmmmm... huh? Charlie?", he asks when he doesn't see her anywhere. He starts floating towards the lobby to see if she's there.

He feels relieved when he sees her there, but then pauses too when he takes note of the situation.

Lucas would eventually notice Team Rocket◊ in the distance. James is holding the device that's producing the beeping, though soon after Lucas spots them it'll stop making sound.

"There shouldn't be much left now, Jessie~", James says, sounding excited.

"Soon we'll have everything and the boss will be pleased~", Jessie says, equally excited.

"And den we'll probably get anotha promotion!", Meowth excitedly says.

"Wobbu!", Wobbuffet says. Naturally, it too is excited.

This city sure has a lot of supplies to it. It's a shame it's a bit far away. It looks nice though.

Indeed. But I find its appearance fairly... dull. You should see the vastness of our Hoshidan cities! They are elegantly built to synchronize with the land and honor it. Says Takumi to Samsara. They both stand near a tall wooden cart, that they're filling with all manners of food and goods.

Could I get some help with the weights? Begs Noire, struggling with the workload. She finds help in none other than Niagara, who take it one-handed and carefully dump it in the cart. Oh, thank you!

It's nothing much. Says Niagara, before helping Noire further. Takumi watch him warily, and so does Rennac, who's whistling while dragging much smaller bags along. Shanks sits atop the cart, drinking alcohol.

I will never understand why this man has returned so soon to us.

Time passes differently for him. And besides, I guess he feels a need to make up for... things? But it doesn't really matter to me. He was a victim of it, at the end, right?

It's a shame he has retained no memories of the enemy and their location.

It's too bad but I'd rather he doesn't remember too much of his time as that metal atrocity. Samsara prepares to continue, but all of the group notices the current commotion at the hotel and turn towards it. Without missing a beat, most of them draw their weapons. Bar Rennac, who hides behind the cart, and Shanks, who raises an eyebrow.

There's a fight going on in that... that... odd building!

Hmm, yep! It's several people all at once against a tall bearded berserker. Comments Shanks. Oh, and that's a hotel.

Why is it hot?

And why aren't we getting away from it?

Because those people need our help. Let's go! Takumi and Noire after Niagara and I! You may have a harder time aiming inside of the hotel and he'll reach you more easily, so we'll be your shields. Rennac, you'll be here for the ambush. Shanks?

I'll guard the truck... Heh, odd how you're assuming the bearded guy is the bad one. Well, he does look wicked... And that's a sword that I wouldn't see a good guy wielding.

Heh, groups against one person tends to go like that here. Shanks nods, and the group head off for battle. Niagara is silent, but focus on the occasion: He'll be able to redeem himself, hopefully, by striking down whoever is harassing that group!

Rennac, meanwhile, drag his feet, forcing Takumi to repeatedly kick him ahead to keep up.

The golden mutant floats above Onyxis, peppering the ground below with intense green blasts! They don't cause that much destruction, but after enough of them, he's created a corroding green sludge, which he descend to.

Come onn someone show up to face or something it's getting awkward HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I WILL CONTINUE DOING THIS FOREVER UNLESS SOMEONE HAPPENS TO SEE THIS AND ATTEMPTS TO STOP ME!

Lucas stares at the Team Rocket Trio for a good moment before sighing.

"Ugh, these idiots."

... Well... not like there's anything else to do, right? He moves a bit towards them.

"Team Rocket. What are you up to this time?"

HE IS HERE

"CEASE THIS WANTON DESTRUCTION, VILLAIN!" All Might shouts bombastically. "Have you no respect for the environment?"

Nemesis rises up. With a snap of his wrist, he unfurls the Dark Sword of the Creator into its whip-like form. He swings it to disperse Seiros' fireballs, then strikes the floor with it, sending a destructive Power Wave-esque energy projectile along the ground towards her. He sends a few more at Geo and Erma.

"Just looks like a nasty guy with a cool sword," Charlie remarks, leaping in. She gets grabbed by the throat.

   "Foolish."   

Nemesis attempts to snap her neck, but she goes full Marionette, causing him to instead find himself bending a freaky puppet's plastic-and-rubber tubing.    "P-point taken! Gonna feel that for a while..."    Quickly teleporting free, reverting back and taking a moment to rub the back of her neck, she throws some bolts of dark energy at Nemesis.

Geo is blown back by a ground-spark, but he rushes right back in with a combo of slashes.

Erma dives into the floor to avoid Nemesis' attacks and lashes her hair to try and pin him against a wall!

"I-I can help, too. I have to help!" Paintra paints up a sawblade that drops on the ground and zooms for Nemesis' ankles.

The mutant screams in surprise and nearly fall down in sheer fright before catching up.

Muhahhahahaha! YES! My enemy.................. i don't know his name I WILL POISON THE GROUND! AND CREATE A PARADISE... BUT ONLY FOR ME HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA!

He spreads his arms and laugh evilly!

Seiros halts and jumps over the projectile, then (while in mid-jump) blasts light magic at the floor in the projectile's path, kicking up debris for it to hit and explode into so that it won't accidentally hit any of the kids. She isn't fast enough to stop the other two though, and as such her rage rises.

"You'll be killing these children over my dead body!", she snarls at Nemesis as she lands, then runs forward again, attempting to perform a leaping kick to his face. She's so filled with adrenaline and hatred that she doesn't even register that Charlie becoming the Marionette, something Seiros wasn't even aware she could do, is supposed to weird her out.

Should her leaping kick successfully stagger Nemesis, she'll try to follow it up with an attempt to kick his Dark Sword of the Creator out of his hands.

"Charlie!", Andrew calls out in horror when she gets neck-grabbed, though is relieved that she escapes just as fast. He glares at Nemesis, a dark aura forming, after which he fades into the wall.

The four are startled, then turn to look at Lucas.

"... Who are you, kid?", Jessie asks while James pockets their device.

"Regardless, what we're doing is classified.", James says while making a shooing motion with his hand.

"Dat's right. You best pretend you didn't see or hear nothin'.", Meowth says.

"Wo!"

Lucas crosses his arms.

"Lucas Murphy. ... The current Champion of the Indigo League of Earth-D?"

"I would suggest being less dismissive of others. Especially given your own historic incompetence."

All Might grimaces at this display of irreverence.

"You are truly evil! You won't leave this place unharmed, evildoer!"

He buffs up and winds up a punch.

"TEXAS..."

"SMASH!"

He throws a massive hook, trying to blow the mutant away with a shockwave of air pressure.

OH SHIIIITTTTTTTTTTTT The mutant is sent flying the fuck off like a ragdoll and smack on the ground multiple times in very undignified manners. What matters is that he land on his feet though, and he's angry!

Nyargh! He blasts at All-Might with two radiation scorching beams, and then spread his arms. He hurls a shitton of little stickers all around the place. They're white, with a red star symbol on 'em. And upon hitting nearby vegetation, they kind of meld with it.

After two comes tree! It's your UNLUCKY NUMBER! The trees lift into the air and each of them explode to form a vast cloud of shards, which the golden mutant uses to attack All-Might, launching a vast Ao E attack.

Takumi and Noire's arrows burst out of the ether to try to plant themselves into Nemesis's shoulders, while he's hopefully distracted with the rest. This is meant to better accomodate Niagara and Samsara: With a burst of speed, the two sword fighters suddenly enter the room!

Now! Drawing her two swords, Samsara goes for a downward diagonal slash using her two weapons on his left. Niagara, wielding a more common Silver Sword, goes for a diagonal downward slash of his own, but on the right. They mean to slash Nemesis with a cross-shaped attack!

Rennac runs in as well but stop to take a breather first.

Nemesis, shrugging off Charlie's projectiles, retracts the Dark Sword of the Creator into its base form and parries Geo's strikes before attempting to blow him away with a knee strike. He then slices through Erma's normally comically-indestructible hair like it's nothing, and stomps on the painted sawblade, causing it to burst in a splash of paint despite the cutting damage it deals to him.

He gets knocked back by Seiros' initial kick, but the follow-up fails to disarm him as he turns in the process of staggering so that she hits his back instead. The arrows fired by Takumi and Noire plant into his cape as well, piercing through and hitting his back but only barely poking his actual skin.

The strikes of the Robin incarnations cut into him, but he responds with a sweep of his sword, it splitting into whip form to grant greater reach. It then retracts once more as Nemesis draws the weapon back, before leaping at Seiros with a mighty overhead slash! If it hits the ground instead of its target, it will cause eruptions of energy around the Shepherds, threatening them with collateral.

Geo goes flying, landing on his back, wiped out. Oof.

Erma is shocked that her hair could be cut, but not hurt in any way. She just leaps at Nemesis to try and claw away at his chest.

Paintra whips up a gun. She shoots Nemesis.

Charlie pauses her barrage, huffing in frustration and minor panic. She sees Samsara, and the girl's eyes widen in recognition.
