Yeah, that momentum almost sends him into the water before Sarah plows into him with that double-whammy (and causes him to revert towards base humanoid form). The angle causes him to slam into the ground and essentially carve a gash into the planet - by the time he reaches Sarah from the other side, he's almost a kilometer deep into the ground. Thus, he manages to avoid Sarah's followup-uppercut.

"Urgh..."

He sprouts a pair of extra arms from his back, each of his (now four!) arms explodes into a big chainsaw-like structure, and he bursts from the hole with slicing intent!

"Bzzzz!"

"I wouldn't QUITE say I'm a fan, given the whole... members of Team Rocket thing, but I definitely like the style you guys have. And sure! I'd love to get a recording of you guys doing it."

"My name's Red!"

Aziel crosses his arms, ignoring the

"I earned mine from hunting Ebony Odogarons, fierce beasts. Their taste for blood is matched only by my own. But like all creatures, they have their habits, and fall victim to the superior mind of an experienced hunter."

He gave the hunter a concentrated stare,

"Though it seems your prey is your fellow hunters. Do beasts not provide an adequate challenge?"

"Yeah, I have.", Pilly says. "So I'm sure it'll be alright. Let's get going!"

"The training room is right past the cafeteria, so we can go through there. There is not much need to warp when our destination is only two minutes away.", Botar says as he and Pilly start walking into the same hallway Thor went into. Botar looks back at Loki as he does.

"I'm not sure 'worse' is an accurate way of describing it. But he has not gotten much better yet either, and the two of us..."

Beat

He looks in front of himself and away from Loki.

"We have had a rather serious disagreement a while back, and that is all I will say on the matter."

Pilly gives Botar a brief look that suggests that she knows about the disagreement, but likely doesn't know either what that disagreement was about. Still, Botar has gone silent again now.

"Red? Like that other guy?", Jessie asks, surprised. James whispers to her and Meowth.

"Maybe this is the same kid but when he was younger."

"That could explain a few things.", she whispers back.

"But wait, that means..."

The three look contemplative for a moment, after which they turn back to Red, smiling.

"Alright, we'll perform our motto for you."

"But afterwards..."

"You have to battle us!"

"Just a battle for fun of course, no strings attached. What do you say?"

Gorochu looks like it really doesn't want to deal with this situation, now annoyed to a comical degree. It sighs, then walks over to Kikio.

While it still looks away from her, it reaches out with a paw, trying to silently tell her that she can give it a cookie if she wants to.

Astil

It just so happens a man dressed in a dark cloak◊ was in the same area Zombie came out of...

With him, he carried a scoped Mosin-Nagant◊ rifle, on either side of his hips, black leather that had been very hastily fashioned into holsters, both carrying a LeMatt revolver◊...

If anyone was paying attention, they would notice a lot of folds of his coat where things could be hidden as well...

He did not try and speak to Zombie, he only sat there and stared, confusion written all over his hidden face.

..... It so happens that hunters and the beasts they prey upon become interchangeable rather fast.

They contemplate the corpse. Your quarry is different from mine. Stronger, deadlier. Less rampant, in a way.

Sarah is cut up, though her skin is durable enough to shield her from nastier cuts. She tries to kick Oca in a manner that allows her to rise to the sky. At which point, she rotates and begins to make lighting rain over the area, sending out veru precise (though her super senses and EM radar) and intense bolts of lightning. Oca is strong enough to shrug them off, but after hitting him, she tries to immediately yeet black lightning at him, and it can definitely mess him up.

Evaporate the sea they're fighting around mess him up.

Eleven blinks and smirks when Toga describes her quirk, looking mightily interested. Cooool.

She can copy powers.

Oh? Shoulda have mentioned that. Huh... Who could you copy? I have a lot of power but you couldn't handle them.

He receptions her and feed the girl a senzu, though she stays unconscious for now.

"I'm impressed with her skill... not so much her strength." She smirks wryly.

She gasps, and her eyes light up like stars.    "FREMB!"   

She respectfully gives Gorochu a cookie, but is visibly trembling as she holds back the urge to glomp it.

Chainsaw hands don't have the best traction, so she's able to kick him a bit away. The blades warp into giant hammerheads, and he slams them together to make a makeshift barrier before the lightning hits.

"Is that all? Ha!"

Then the black lightning hits, punching through the hammerheads and crushing him into the seabed.

"... Not so ha."

"I can hear you guys," he deadpans.

"And sure! I'm always up for a battle! Right, Pikachu?"

Pikachu hops to its hind legs and salutes.

"Pika-pika!"

"Hell yeah to that!"

Nicole proceeds to walk alongside Pilly towards the training room.

"Maybe someday, I could see about bringing my buddy Nik here. Trust me, you'd like her, kid."

Loki tilts his head curiously.

"Then I suppose I ought not to expect the warmest of greetings. Still, if you could tell me where I might find him, that would be most appreciated."

"Although, I suspect the argument had something to do with a certain prisoner and his continued incarceration..."

Thor continues wandering down the hallway, briefly glancing back at the other conversations.

"uhhh. i licked some blood off a bird"

she pulled out her kife again, it had some dry blood on it

"I guess i could see who this blood belongs to"

she licked it, and, after a few moments turned into a strange looking girl in green, who shiggy would recognize as tsuyu asui

Haha, I could ask the same! Says Sarah, stopping her rotation to seemingly gloat at him, standing on the horizon with her hands on her hips and a content smile on her face. She even has one arced eyebrow, which he'll recognize as the smug 'brow.

She's either messing with him or having the obligatory wind-up time that he should exploit to attack.

Well... yeah. She is skilled, but the lack of Super Saiyan is a bit of a damper.

He looks at Callis and back at her. She's quite like you guys in a way. Pridefully sticking to her own path, even when others are... better to take, or at least easier.

...

He does, but he doesn't care. Hmph. Perhaps we could see if we've gathered some blood off our enemies in previous bouts.

"Interesting. You hunt the crazed and rabid? A cornered quarry is the most unpredictable, I respect your cunning."

Aziel walks to the Deviljho, resting his hand on a bloodied gash on its stomach.

"Are you a native of this world? This place is strange, familiar yet different."

He turned to face the Hunter,

"I've seen many things that are certainly not from the New World, but there are beasts from my world wandering about, adjusting to these new lands as if they were home."

Zombie continued forward throughout the swamp, brief undead moans exiting his throat every so often. Although once a fairly large clump of wood began to clump the undead's path, it stopped. From nowhere, an axe◊ just as strangely shaped and sized as the zombie appeared in their hand.

Zombie rose the axe and swung wildly, his axe tearing through the wood. As it began to float across the water, it all was sucked violently into the undead, disappearing as if it no longer existed.

It continued forward with no problem, unaware of the man watching it.

The man simply pulled his Mosin-Nagant off of his back, pushing the butt of the gun into his shoulder and pointing the barrel at Zombie, centering the center of his crosshair on the thing's blocky head.

He drew a deep breath, holding it in as he felt his heartbeat slow, the barrel of his gun swaying left and right slowly...

A dark whisper that only he could hear sounded off in his ears, and in that moment, he knew he had to take the shot!

The barrel of his long rifle suddenly snapped still, and he squeezed the trigger... The sound ear shattering, yet he was unaffected by the noise as he watched the trail his shot left through the air as it headed for its target.

"If she's a friend of yours then I don't doubt that I will.", Pilly happily says.

Botar now looks at Loki again and points at the nearby wall. If Loki looks at it, he may recognize it as the door he and Ken Tahn came out of when they finished their sneak-training.

Once Thor gets to the cafeteria, he'll see a few G.E.M. Soldiers◊ walking around and getting something to eat. Sitting at one of the tables are Norm and Linda◊, the former of which is just getting up at that moment.

"I'm gonna go check on them.", he says.

"'lright, see ya.", Linda smirks, after which Norm sighs, implying they're actually supposed to check on the people in question together. Norm still goes off on his own though, going through the hallway opposite of the one Thor and the others will come out of.

"Well then!"

They clap their hands, and suddenly everything goes dark, after which spotlights appear.

It's showtime

"Prepare for trouble, you're getting graced."

"And make it double for this fan with good taste!"

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unite all peoples within our nation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

Jessie and James pose, the latter now holding a rose.

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket's blasting off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!"

"Me-owth, that's right!", Meowth says, jumping in and landing in between the two.

"Wobbuffet!", Wobbuffet says, popping up behind Jessie.

The four of them then dramatically point at Red.

"Now-"

"-send out-"

"-your Pokemon!"

A slight, worried sweat drop rolls down the back of Goroshu's head as it hesitantly accepts the cookie, eating it in a single bite.

It then pauses and looks delighted with the cookie's taste.

"Chuuuuu!"

GE!Oca

"Oh, you're being smug now? Huh? Smug girl?"

Oca gets to his feet and blasts upwards – *bawoop!* before teleporting behind her and trying to stun her with a surprise smash attack.

"Take this!"

He throws a giga-mega-super power punch at her - only for the fist to split down the middle when it got close, and try to wrap her torso up in it. Nanomachines, son!

Red looks on like - well - like an easily impressed kid who just watched some stylish villains do their fancy motto.

"Awesome!"

He throws his arm forwards.

"Pikachu!"

Le rat takes the field, sparking with sparky-sparkiness. It's already weirdly intimidating for a Pikachu. Thank god this is the Arena and not home, or this thing would be EV Trained and at Lvl 100.

"I respect her tenacity, at least. I'll put a word in with Courne for her."

Callis rolls her shoulders and takes off.

Kikio jumps for joy and claps happily.

"Mind if I grab one?"

   "Go ahead! Our gracious lord is always accepting offerings in his name!"   

Beat

Lupin III is in a corner of the room, holding a staff that resembles Genesect - a staff which had been propped up next to Kikio until a moment ago - under one arm. He's eating one of Kikio's cookies with his free hand.

   "Hey!"   

The staff is within Cara's reach.

"She's a half-dragon like me, by the way. Well, actually, she's a Draconian. She'd be able to explain it better than I could."

As she enters the training room, Nicole takes off her leather jacket and tosses it aside. She then removes Olympus' Wrath from her belt and drops the Zeus-forged sword beside her jacket.

"Maybe I should've packed my workout clothes before coming here. Oh, well."

Loki shifts his gaze to the wall in question. Recognizing the door as the exact same one he and Tahn had emerged from following their successful team-building exercise, he lets out a mild sigh.

"So, I can definitely rule out the possibility of a warm welcome..."

Nonetheless, he strolls through the door before descending into the base's catacombs.

Thor, after catching sight of Norm exiting the cafeteria, comes to a stop just outside the room in question. He notices Linda among the G.E.M personnel, walks over to the purple-haired operative's table, and offers her a smile.

"I hope you won't mind if I decide to join you, Lady Linda."

...... Correct. I hunt those who have become beasts or lost their way, though my axe also drew strange blood.

I am not native to this world. Nor do I remember much of the old one. I am a hunter. What I need to ponder about, besides my quarry, is superfluous. They look down briefly. Strange as it may seem to say.

Ohohoh a mega fi-Oh! Sarah is seemingly restrained, but retaliate with a straightforward lateral kick to his guts, though she now looks a little more excited!

Nice strategy! She tries to hit Oca with a flurry of kicks. Then, she goes for one strong kick to try to break his guard open, one kick to the stomach, one upward kick to the chin and then a spinning kick to the side! It could hurt if she land them all!

Akordion tries to interrupt Callis before she leaves, but only smirks smugly and points at the still-unconscious Beet, his usually stoic face making way for a smile that could almost be featured in memes.

Ask for his number.

She pauses, realizing what Akordion is saying.

"U-uh... yeah, sure."

He nods, and take off, with Beet in tow.

"It is not strange to think only of the hunt, or of the next. It is a hunter's duty to stay sharp and attuned to their surroundings, I believe you a wise hunter."

Aziel rose his carving knife, lowering himself to the ground and began to carve into the Deviljho, blood spurting from the new wounds created by the smaller blade.

"My name is Aziel."

He paused for a brief moment,

"What might yours be?"

As the bullet neared the blocky undead, the Zombie snapped its head to look at the hunter, and the bullet careening toward it. In an instant, a shield◊ appeared, blocking the bullet. That same moment, a fishing rod◊ came from behind the shield.

It came flying out at a rapid speed, hoping to hook into the hunter's clothing and pull him to the Zombie. If it succeeded, the Zombie's shield would lower and the fishing rod would disappear, replaced with the same axe, poised for a devastating swing.

"... !!!"

The Hunter did indeed get caught by the fishing rod, being pulled towards Zombie, however, when he saw the shield lower and that weird looking axe come out again, the hunter pulled out his own melee weapon◊ a machete that was heavy enough to match the axe. The Hunter stared at Zombie for a good moment, before flicking his blade back and cutting the fishing line, pulling back a good few feet away an sheathing the machete.

In response, he drew one of his two Le Matt revolvers, aiming it at Zombie and flicking the safety off, firing three shots at the blocky being.

Pilly enters the training room as well, doing some imaginary stretches (because you can't really stretch metal limbs like that) before taking on a pose.

"Ready to go whenever you are!", she eagerly says.

Loki wouldn't have to go far, as mid-way down the stairs he'll be able to see Pseudo◊, who was seemingly on his way up. Pseudo blinks in surprise when he sees Loki.

"Loki? I wasn't made aware that you were going to visit today. What brings you here?", he asks.

Loki will be able to see that, while Pseudo still looks far from his best, he does seem to look at least like less of a mess than last time they saw each other.

Linda looks pleasantly surprised when she sees Thor.

"Ah, a fun face at last! Of course, take a seat.", she says, patting the chair next to her a few times before taking a sip from her glass. Surprisingly, it's not alcohol this time.

"Somethin' about that Pikachu's giving me the shivers.", Meowth mutters.

"Well, in that case, let's put it to the test!"

The trio raises one arm each.

"Gacha! Come on down!" "Gacha! Come on down!" "Gacha! Come on down!"

It's Gacha Time (Banned in Belgium)

As if on command, a golden portal suddenly opens up above the Floating City, courtesy of Hoopa◊, through which a Pelipper◊ flies.

"Pel! Peli-Peli-Peeeee!"

It drops a Gacha Machine◊ out of its mouth, the Rocket Prize Master machine landing right in front of them. Jessie and James then pick up Meowth, hold him upside down and put his coin into the slot before moving the knob, cheating the system without having to pay a fee as Meowth's coin doesn't come loose from his head.

"Our-"

"-secret-"

Two Poke Balls then drop out of the machine.

"Rocket Prize Master!" "Rocket Prize Master!"

Jessie and James pick up their Poke Balls, with Jessie throwing hers to call forth the Pokemon inside.

"Now let's see!"

The Poke Ball opens, and out comes a freaking Hydreigon◊.

"WOW! We got a good one!", Meowth says as he gets back on his two feet.

"The brutal Pokemon, Hydreigon!", Jessie says, reading the paper with its information on it.

Hydreigon roars as it readies for battle, looking at Pikachu.

Team Rocket Battle

Gorochu looks at Lupin III, then realizes he robbed Kikio. And while Gorochu doesn't really care about Kikio, it still gets angry at some human robbing her.

"Gorooooo...", it growls, sparks coming out of its cheeks.

Meanwhile, Kikio's yell to Lupin III gets Cara's attention as she sets down her bottle of water.

"Huh?"

She notices Gorochu glaring dangerously, then looks at Lupin III. She easily puts two and two together when she sees the staff and attempts to swipe it from him.

A forest in Reprium

A giant snail is trailing in high speed around the forest. Over its shell, a band composed of a pilot guy, his little sister, and 3 giant letters are rehearsing their songs.

First Warrenian Chapel, Warrenton, Reprium

"Inspector Gadget, Ruben, Warren, Esther: I had reunited you here to give you some news: A thief, known as Lupin the Third, had been spotted in various points of the Arena. It's a very habile thief, even more than Don Calcetino. We must be prepared for troubles, and let's protect Warrenton together."

Well, yeah, it hurts in an academic sense. And also in a physical damage sense. Not in an 'ouch' sense, though. The flurry of kicks softens up his lower body, but it splits open in the same way his fist did and tries to snare her Big Kick leg.

"Heh, it's more like you're fighting a majin than a saiyan."

He still ends up moved around by the force of the kicks since they're in the air, but relative to each other, after the snare they wouldn't be moving.

Pikachu bristles. It knows it's at a huge disadvantage, but its also pretty feisty. Red seems mildly surprised they aren't using they're own mons, but they're Team Rocket, whatever.

"Well... Volt Switch, Pikachu!"

The rat jumps into the air and tries to fry Hydreigon, before rebounding into its ball.

Lupin's grip on the staff isn't that loose. Cara only manages to slightly tug at it.

Persuasion roll: 17+2=19

   "Um... could I please have that back, Mister? It's like... really dangerous, and only I know how much."   

Lupin smirks.

Kikio gives him a pleading puppy-dog look.

His composure cracks a little. "Ah... er... I, uh..."

   "pweeeeeeeeeez??"   

"Alright, fine." He tosses the staff back to Kikio. "Here."
