Seeing the incoming Sword Beam, Dagrún redirects some of her momentum to both dash downward and get the bugbears to face sideways. However, that doesn't quite get them off slashing vicinity, so Rie backs it up with a pair of her own weaker sword beams from her energy blades at an angle to knock Vergil's off course.

Hellboy has an easier time, what with being in melee range, and pierces through the dragon's metal scales and into her back. She growls in pain, but maintains the clarity of mind to completely flip downwards and wriggle violently, to force him to at least focus on staying on if not throwing his feet off and making him dangle by the sword.

"I'll hold him off. You two deal with the other guy and heal." Rie unloads two cartridges off her gunblade, and eats them, before slapping on all of her swords to Reuben's person. "You're the real prodigy in our family, you'll do fine."

"Rie!" Reuben calls out, but his sister is already off, staying afloat by generating shockwaves from her hands and feet as she goes out at the swordsman's direction. He quickly turns back to Hellboy and walks closer as his lance starts to light up. Despite what his sister is about to do and that he just hurt his other comrade, there's actually this look of guilt on Reuben's face for an instant - for all of Vergil's power, grandstanding and insults, not once did he try to save his teammates or even seem to like them at all. It doesn't stop him from finishing his cast, however, and releases it as close as he can to make sure it hits.

"Holy."

It's just for the mood. Zoro deflects most of the flechettes as he runs forward, not minding those that pierce his skin as he clad his swords in haki and try to perform a cross-shaped slash, deliberately using the back of the blades for that purpose instead of the sharper side.

"Ah, cool. I was worried for a moment." Undyne summons a wall of spears in front of her. Either Zoro goes through with his attack and gets mightily ouched along the way, or he stops short and is left open for a retaliatory punch.

"But it’s not as fun if you hold back, you know."

Fuck it. Zoro decides to just go through for the sake of dealing an important blow, an ever-so-crazed light being seen in his eye as he receive some very important damage! He's probably one tap away from a KO! And yet he still attempts his earlier slash before moving unto the next phase!

Alright then! As you please! Says the bloodied Zoro, now also shirtless. He pulls back and his bloodied biceps enlarge before he thrust his blades forth to deliver a powerful blow!

Undyne gets hit by that slash, leaving a scar in her armor plating, but when Zoro declares he's going all-out, she gets a hungry look in her eyes similar to his own, and meets his thrust with one of her spear!

When they pass, silence. Then Undyne winces as a gash opens up on her waist.

Zoro just fall down, though he hold his thumb up as a bloody gash appear on his chest!

While he crawl away, Luffy jump in!

Oh wow! Back to the beginning I guess! Anyway! He pull his arms back, coat them in haki and lash out with them, attacking with an insane speed all of a sudden!

Gomu Gomu no Gatling!

Undyne grits her teeth as Luffy's gatling punches drive her back. "T-Tager!"

"Right." Tager grabs Undyne and pulls her out of the main battlefield as he steps forward, creating a gravitational pull with his hand again. If he catches Luffy, he will immediately toss him away without giving him a chance to try and balloon free.

Woops! Luffy drive his feet into the ground and elongate them to better hold on, and then stretch his fists backwards, inflating his forearms and fists before coating them in Haki! He struggles, gritting his teeth as he is still pushed towards the well!

Gomu Gomu no GRIZZLY MAGNUM! Holy dang! Luffy lashes out by tossing both fists forward, as if attempting to exploit the gravity drive!

Luffy's gambit works, blowing Tager back. If I could use my Astral Heat, I could take care of this problem right now, he thinks, but overly-lethal force isn’t authorized for tournaments. Plan U it is, then.

He launches a Spark Bolt at Luffy, hoping to keep him at bay.

Hellboy's grip tightens as Dagrún flips herself over and attempts to knock him off. He flips over himself, dangling from the hilt of Excalibur as he holds on for dear life. He's so focused on staying on his opponent's back that he doesn't notice Rie launching herself off or Reuben beginning to cast a spell. A couple of seconds pass and he looks back towards Reuben, right in time to see Holy come blasting towards him.

"Crap."

His flaming aura flares up around him in response to the spell, hellfire blasting out from his body before flickering out of existence. He quickly reaches into his pockets and pulls out a number of charms, each imbued with their own essences of holy and unholy energy. He throws them hopelessly into the oncoming spell, shrinking it in size considerably but doing nothing to stop it.

Eventually, he pulls out his final relic, a small bell that seems to be constantly shining with heavenly light. His hands actually begin to smoke as he raises it to the sky, just in time to get hit head on by Reuben's spell. It sends him flying off Dagrún's back into the rubble below, resulting in a resounding thud.

K.O!

A few moments of silence pass from down in the arena itself before suddenly...

*BOOM*

A heavenly light, the same that shone down on the bell, shines down on where Hellboy fell as the half-demon slowly rises. He's beaten and battered, blood pouring out from multiple wounds, but he's still standing thanks to the final relic. He looks different as well, his horns having grown out to their full length and a pair of bat-like wings sprouting from his back.

"Now you went and pissed me off!" He yells up at his opponents before leaping into the air, his newly-grown wings carrying him upwards. He levels himself with Reuben, staring daggers at him.

"You're done for, pal." He says as he soars towards him, right fist extended in an attempt to catch either him or Dagrún with a powerful punch.

Vergil watches as Rie launches herself from the back of Dagrún.

"I'll cut you in two!" He says as he performs a series of three Judgement Cuts in her direction.

Luffy runs towards the blast but instead of taking it, he stretch his legs and let it pass between them, while slamming his still-elongated fists at Tager anyway! Looks like he's being careful with balancing.

Gomu Gomu no Guillotine!

Tager blocks the Gum-Gum Guillotine with his gauntlets, though the metal is bent under the intense pressure. He attempts to catch Luffy's extended arms with one hand and yank his body into the grasp of the other using his gravity.

Luffy is yanked forward, but he decide to enlarge his whole body and cover his belly in haki, charging towards Tager like a living cannonball!

Woooo!

Tager's magnet-hands ensure that despite their intense collision, driving him back across the courtyard, he still gets a grip on Luffy. He capitalizes with an intense burst of electricity from the hand holding his opponent...

And sees that it does nothing. "Of course a rubber man would be immune to electricity. Care to let me try that again?"

Luffy blinks when he get shocked, and proceed to shake his head. Nope! I like the fight, but I'd be a bit dumb to just let ya take another shot wouldn't it? He pull his neck and head back, and apply haki on his forehead!

Atama Buso! Gomu Gomu No Kane! He says, before slamming his neck forward to try to headbutt Tagger! If that works, he then raise his legs and go for a Gomu Gomu Octopus Stamp at point blank!

"... Unfortunate," is all Tager can say before Luffy knocks himself free of his grip. After the Octopus Stamp, he's looking very badly injured.

Still, he attempts to run up and grab Luffy barehanded. Given he's been using gravity to pull off his grabs up until now, this much simpler method might catch Luffy off guard... which is just what he's hoping for.

If he gets the grab, he will scrape Luffy along the ground and throw him high into the sky with a yell of "GENESIC!" launch up after him while yelling "EMERALD!" grab him out of the air with a shout of "TAGER!" and finally slam him into the ground with explosive force and a roar of "BUSTER!"

Yeah HOLLY MOLLY- Luffy underestimates Tager and get sorely slammed around for it! Aware that Undyne would pretty much win by default if its just him! He decide to get serious and close his eyes as he's thrown around, all the way until he's grabbed!

GEAR!

Luffy opens his eyes and inflate his torso and arms, in a way that seems to be different from Gear Third! His hair grows longer! His eyes become more vicious! His face scarier! More noticeably, there's a lot of black haki on his shoulders and enlarged forearms, as well as the legs. He's very top-heavy, so it's easy to notice.

FF Fffffffouuuuurrrrttthhhhhhh! He says, like he's being at Kabuki or something. Whatever form this is, it tanks what should've been a fatal final move with a scream, but he make it through, even if he make a series of "ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!" afterwards!

Didn't think I'd need to use that so early on! Says Luffy, as he attempts to muscle his way free with a roar! Instead of commenting further though, he retract his fist in his enlarged arm, like a cannon, while 'bouncing' around, making a sound with every step. He's roughly Tager's size now, but he bounce with each step like he's much lighter! GOMU GOMU NO-

With speed surreal for his bulk and strength fitting for it, Luffy unleashes forth a devastating punch at Tager! KONG GUN!!!

Tager be like: RETIRED!

And then there was one. Undyne smirks as she staggers back to the courtyard.

Her first move: try to grab Luffy and knock him out of the courtyard so he'll be forced to switch with Sanji.

Unfortunately Luffy is as fast as he's now muscular, so he tries to use the bounciness of his body to blow Undyne backwards!

And if that works, he leaps forth at her, kicking the air with each step in a manner similar to Sanji's, though he's less skilled! And even if it doesn't, he's too mobile to be thrown out!

GOMU GOMU NO LEO BAZOOKA! Luffy retracts both hands and launch them forth at Undyne with great speed and power!

Undyne gets launched back and smashed by the Leo Bazooka.

Everything freezes in place for a moment, then fades to black.

... A white heart is visible, trembling in place. It breaks in half.

Then slams back together, and Undyne rises from her crumpled form on the ground, and transforms into Undyne the Undying!◊

   "Now it's my turn!"   

Abandoned Temple Medley - Tekken 7: Fated Retribution

Undyne the Undying leaps back and throws a spear at Luffy. In flight, it splits into three equally large and dangerous spears, then those spears split into three more each for a total of nine!

As she draws closer, Rie stays afloat with just her feet and conjures a shield from her hands, not unlike the ones Reuben kept making throughout the fight. It blocks the first one, while the second one damages it enough to nullify it. She starts to move her hands to one side to dash out of the way of the third, but then decides against it, choosing to conserve her cartridge as she won't be able to fight effectively while splitting her arcane power to stay airborne. It cuts her in multiple places, though not as deeply as she'd feared thanks to the few leftover armor pieces she still has on her. "My brother and I are more alike than what we've shown you so far."

Pointing one finger higher up to the sky, she then starts creating a flurry of energy balls to attack with. She then shapes them, turning them into... floating exaggerated yaoi heads?◊

"Chins that can cut through space and time!" She points to Vergil, commanding the heads to strike. Despite her incantation, they just pierce normally. In the event that any of them get through Vergil's defenses, they will also bite for good measure.

Still feeling the searing pain from the sword on her pain, Dagrún starts to fly down to roost and properly nurse her wounds. Before she can do so, however, Hellboy bursts out of the ground with a new form and a second wind. "And he has a second form too. Of course he does."

Reuben jogs up to Dagrún's head as Hellboy starts closing in for another punch, and as he reaches it he makes a quick roll for a bit of extra momentum. "Enlarge - Giant Might." The fist is right about to smack against the dragon's face...

And it's stopped dead with a Punch Catch from a paw almost as large as his own fist, coming from a now over twenty feet tall Reuben who's stolen a page from his teacher's book. Even then, he has to use both hands, one behind the other, but he manages it.

"You were saying?" He says as he tightens his grip to keep Hellboy from fleeing.

Dagrún capitalizes on the maneuver with a point-blank breath attack, this time of pure arcane - or rather draconic - energy, trying to finish him off for good this time.

I don't get what just happened but- OH WOW! Luffy take the blows but he bleeds, even with his haki and rubber body, causing him to grit his teeth as he's thrown back!

Nice! But... GOMU GOMU NO PYTHON! He stretch his arm forth to try to hit her. The attack power and speed of the move is intense as it is, but a few seconds after the first attack, Luffy redirect the punch mid-air using his powers to try to hit Undyne! He'll try to do so about five times, using different angles each time for more unpredictability!

   "Only one way to find out..."   

Undyne cuts the knot and just projects an A.T. Field-esque barrier from her soul to fend off the Python. She drops the barrier and blitzes Luffy with a fierce stab, then just as quickly dashes back to escape retaliation!

   "Who's more determined to win!"

Luffy uses his arm to block, and doesn't get stabbed deeply, though he's starting to tire out!

Deciding to focus on offense instead of pure defense, he nods! YEAH! He says, before transforming again. A large amount of smoke burst out, taking the shape of a cobra, revealing a much thinner Luffy. He's back to his normal size, with only his forearms and legs being bigger, and the haki has receded into his arms and legs. His hair's all flowy and flame-shaped too now! He still has that scary glare however.

SNAKEMAN! GO! He launch his two arms forth this time, stretching them to try to hit Undyne! If it works, they quickly retract back, and he launch them up in the air this time!

JET CULVERIN! His arms change directions multiple times in mid-air, gaining in speed and power each time, and each try to slam back on Undyne! Regardless of success, they either retract back or bounce at Undyne's new position again!

   I wish I could transform at will,    thinks Undyne when Luffy reveals his 'Snakeman' form. She dodges one of his first punches but gets walloped by the other.

When he sends out the punches that get faster and stronger the longer his fists fly, she is initially confused and worried - until the first one hits her.    "How dare you make me try and use my head!"    she jokingly shouts, before smacking the second fist dead-on with the flat of her spear, creating an intense shockwave and halting its momentum!

She then attempts to stab that hand before Luffy can call it back!
