"Not gonna lie, that's harsh..." Shyna admitted in a sympathetic tone, perched on Zero's shoulder.

Zero, despite still not looking totally convinced, looked away,"...It's your power at the end of the day, Miles. Do as you please with it."

"Whatever consequences come, I can handle it," Miles said though it sounded like he was trying to convince himself as much as Zero. He then turned and held out the orb,"Here. I only ask two things in exchange: First, that you use it to save your friend, and the rest of her kind. There's already enough bloodshed, anyways,"

"Second, I would like a copy of whatever you found on Gravitas' computer, so we can plan accordingly."

Hmph. Well, at least he's not being a total moron. Zero thought to himself.

"... I did say Gravitas would kill me if they caught me sharing their confidential information," 42 warns.

"But if you're willing to take that risk, the most secure option would be to let me transfer it to him through direct interface," she says with a nod at Zero. "I could also trim out the risky parts, if you're willing..."

Miles was about to say to just leave all the info in...only to stop himself. Wouldn't this just put the poor girl at more risk than she already was?

No, he couldn't take that chance. As such, he stepped forward and held out the orb,"On second thought, here. Just take it."

42 hesitantly takes the orb in her hands. "... Thank you. I'll repay this some day."

She then flies away.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Miles." Zero remarked as he watched the girl leave.

"In all honesty, Zero, I hope so too..." Miles admitted as he and the others turned to leave...

Back in the present, at the Lounge...

Returning to the present, Miles sighed and munched on yet another Dorito.

Windhelm

A certain god of thunder walks through the icy streets of Windhelm, his axe slung over his shoulder.

Cyber Angel Fortress

The two guards◊ are standing back at the front of the fortress, one of them holding the Deliderp◊ again.

"While I'll admit that I may have missed you, small bird, you're still not getting past us." , the one holding his says before putting him down.

"Now c'mon, shoo."

Botar◊ appears behind Thor. As usual, this is done without prior warning.

"Greetings, Thor."

Pseudo's Base

Pseudo is overlooking his monitor screens, one small one in the bottom now depicting the progress on translating the next chapter of the diary.

"90% done... it shouldn't be long now."

Cyber Angel Fortress

42 wanders near the Cyber Angel fortress, seeming mildly distraught and worried.

Upon noticing the guards, she silently prays that her wish upon Kyubey actually worked.

Estraole, Minira

Rin is out shopping when Fu suddenly appears behind her.

"How fascinating... Sorry about stealing ya, but I'm gonna have to steal ya."

"Wait what the f-"

Porky's Base, v4 Arena

"-uck?"

Rin finds herself in a dark room in a base somewhere, face-to-face with the empty faceplate of a dismantled Porky Bot. "GYEEP!"

South of Whiterun

Someone who looks like a generic NPC is stumbling about in a panicked daze.

"Everything's fine, everything's fine, everything's fine..."

OH HELLO MY FRIEND IVE KNOWN FOR NEGATIVE SECONDS HOW ARE YOU?!

A song played at ear-atomizing frequence assaults the surroundings as a blonde girl in a red dress appears, right in front of the NPC. She just appears, as if she had always been there somehow. WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO ON A JOURNEY WITH ME?

Oh wow this sure is a catchy tune! Bokuko runs in and notice the situation.

HEY! I'M BOKUKO! She yells, trying to make herself heard over the tune, which appears to be looping.

Thor wheels around to face Botar, Stormbringer instinctively raised... them lowers the axe upon realizing who had appeared behind him.

"I swear, Botar, you're going to catch the wrong person by surprise one day... Is Pseudo ready for our meeting?"

The NPC looks at the blonde and Bokuko, ears visibly bleeding but not seeming to care.

"Fine."

They grin in a very unnatural way.

"Fine, fine, fine, fine..."

Oh wow there sure be a deep mystery here! Bokuko put some wax on her ears.

HELLO ARE U OKAY? ARE YOU OKAY ANNIE? ARE YOU OKAY? EVERYTHNG GOOD? ALL CAPICHE? WE BUENO? MUCH OK? ALL CLEAR? 100% FINE? APPROVED BY LIFE? GENERALLY ENJOYABLE? SWELLIN'GOOD? PIMENT GOOD? YES! She shouts back, unconcerned by the NPC's obviously creepy demeanor.

Haha wow you're really loud lady! What's your name? I'm Bokuko!

MAY YOUR SPINAL FLUID FLOW EVER MORE BOKUKO! I AM MARTINE! YES! THIS IS A NAME THAT MY HUMAN PARENTS HAVE GIVEN ME! YOU WILL USE IT FOR I ANSWER TO NO OTHER NAME! AIEIAIEAHE! ABSOLUTELY NONE! NOT JESUS! NOT TOM! NOT ADABRAOFVICH! NOT OUBLAGOUGLA! NOT UBMRUBM! NOT AIIIAIEIIAIEIA!

The guards, seeing 42 headed their way, immediately turn their arms into gatling guns and aim it at her.

"No outsiders allowed near the fortress. Turn back or-"

A strange wind blows through the area for a moment, and the two seem to calm down.

"... w... wait, is she not... an ally of the Queen?" , one of them asks, showing 42 that Kyubey's wish was indeed effective.

"Yes... yes, I believe so. Have you come to talk to the Queen?"

"I'm prepared to move away in case that happens.", Botar says, finding the possibility a bit humorous.

"Indeed he is. I'll take you to him."

If Thor lets him, Botar will warp them both into the main monitor room.

"Pseudo. I have brought Thor.", he says, upon which Pseudo's chair turns so that Pseudo can look at Thor.

"Ah, welcome. Before we move on to the reason you wished to see me, I want to apologize for having only been able to send three members your way to help out yesterday. Everyone else capable of fighting was out of the base at that time. Save for Locke, but in such a corruptive aura... I did not want to take any risks involving him."

Porky's Base, The Past

Looking around will show Rin that the room she's in isn't too big. There's a door to her right, not too far from her, and judging by the bit of light shining through its side, it seems to be open.

There's no sound around her anywhere, but the mere presence of light should tell her that this place, wherever she is, is in use. So she'll want to be careful not to get caught, because depending on who runs this place... being caught may mean death.

42 nods. "Indeed. My name is 42. I have... something to discuss with the Queen."

Rin puts on her headphones.

Alright, Rin... Mission "start."

She winces at herself for accidentally speaking aloud, but creeps towards the door out of the room.

The 'NPC''s eyes widen freakishly as their skin starts to sag.

And then the monster repeats the last thing its victim said, tone and all.

   "I love you, Mom."   

The skin-suit explodes to reveal oh holy shit what is that!?

Behind the Smile, NOTHING THERE (Second Trumpet - Lobotomy Corporation)

With a dreadful    "HROOAAAAAAAAAAR,"    Nothing There charges at Bokuko, swinging the clawed arm attached to the back of its neck!

Upon being warped into the base's main monitor room, Thor greets Pseudo with a nod before taking a seat on the nearest chair.

"Apology accepted, my friend. I assure you, however, we had the situation well under control. Not even the interference of Set's crony could stop us from destroying the Cyber Angels' juggernaut of a war machine."

"Very well, 42. I will bring you to the throne room." , one of the two says, coating 42 in some kind of thin aura, after which it'll grab her arm and bring her to one of the windows, which 42 will be able to pass through too.

When they arrive in the throne room, the Cyber Angels inside immediately look at her, clearly surprised.

"Why did you bring an outsider here?" , an Officer asks, getting up from its chair from behind a computer.

"She is an ally of the Queen and wishes to discuss with her." , the guard says.

"An ally of..."

It pauses.

"Wait... yes, yes, I think you're right. Her Majesty is a few rooms further, I'll go bring her here."

The Officer then quickly leaves the room.

"Indeed. Botar told us about that situation. It's a good thing Hub contacted us when he did.", Pseudo says, getting out of his chair.

"Now then, what do you have to discuss with me?"

Once Rin reaches the door and opens it, she'll find herself in a long, metal hallway, splitting off into other hallways on some of the sides. There's a door right across from her, but that one is closed shut.

"-yes, I believe I understand.", a voice suddenly speaks from one of the nearby side-halls. Someone's coming this way!

42 follows the Cyber Angels. Once in the throne room, she looks around curiously.

Rin ducks back behind the door she came from, into the storage room.

"Right, I came here because I wanted to discuss the matter of Set and his cabal. You see, Loki had quite an enlightening conversation about the bastard with Zeus," Thor says. "Pure goodness can apparently harm him, but unless somebody knows how to weaponize, say... Deut's kindheartedness, I fear that won't be a viable option."

He leans against his axe.

"However, he also learned the story of how Set was initially defeated by a god from his realm named Horus."

Martine seems unfazed, but Bokuko screams in surprise and is smacked away, into the rubble. After a short while, five versions of her emerges!

Tailed Beast Style! Flaming Blue Dance! Each launch a blue fireball, which split into several smaller fireballs, which split... At the end, the antagonist may just be facing down an armada of blue fireballs, with intense fire!

Martine laughs and hang back, though she begins to look for something in her red bag.

Nothing There snarls with a horrific guttural noise as it stomps through the flames, seeming... only slightly burned. It chomps at the shadow clones, not caring to distinguish between them.

42 will see a bunch of computers, all with either Soldiers or Officers behind them. Some are situated in front of the throne, while some are behind the throne, to the sides of the room. There's also some big screens, put in place so that they can be perfectly watched from the position of the throne.

Then the Officer comes back in, alongside the Queen.

"So, what's going on? Another one who wishes to parlay with me?"

"Your Majesty... this is your ally, is she not?" , the guard asks.

"We all seem to remember that she is."

"Ally? Her?", the Queen asks, stepping forward until it's in front of 42, looking her over.

"... actually... yes, perhaps so...", the Queen then says, falling under the effect of Kyubey's wish. The staff doesn't seem to react to this.

"Ah... yes, and aside from maybe Ninten with his song, I don't really have access to any 'pure goodness' either.", Pseudo says. He then appears interested.

"Oh? Was it in a way that we can potentially replicate?"

Footsteps will go past the room Rin is in, with two people speaking. One sounds young, but robotic, and the other one sounds a bit more organic, but... there's something slightly off about the way he talks, making it sound a bit insane.

"However, until Master Porky finds his way back here, I cannot simply deviate from the orders I have been given. I doubt Sombra will be a factor to worry about if everything goes according to the plan."

   "Hah, and what if it doesn't? The guy can still say no. Now I kind of want to see that, I bet it'd be hilarious."   

"You must have a death wish to actively wish for my master's failure while inside his own base."

   "Oh, come now, little robo-boy. Compadre, amigo, big pal of mine~"   

"Stop that."

   "You know I'm just messing around. The glares people give me are priceless."   

"I'd prefer it if you didn't mess around and continued doing your part in the plan that's been presented to you."

   "Yeah, well, you're not my boss, so... there."   , he says, suddenly cackling after saying that.

"I'll never understand your illogical mind. Look, I'm going to check up on the project, you go ahead and return to your boss."

   "Aye~"   

One set of footsteps can now be heard walking away a bit further. But the second person doesn't move quite yet, instead chuckling sinisterly.

   "Doing my part in the plan, huh?"   

Then a strange sound rings out, and everything becomes quiet. And if Rin peeks outside, taking the risk to see if he's still there or not, she'll see that he's gone.

The clones are thankfully pretty agile! Two jump up and try to barrage the beast with a series of intense kicks! Once they're up, they try to jump back!

Konoha Wild Hurricane!

The three last clones hang out together and weave signs, eventually uniting together to form a mighty...

Fire Style! Great Majestic Flames Destroyer! The already large streams of fire combine, and Nothing There might end up engulfed in it. The clones jump back into it, seemingly engulfed as well.

Martine pulls a overly long M-16 out of her bag, though it has a strange aura around it and weird markings are all over it.

FAVORITE GAME TIME ON! She unleashes a stream of bullets at the enemy. Curiously, those bullets pack far more of a punch than any other, even those used by the most dangerous rifles!

I didn't think the wish's effects would be this strong...

42 bows to the Queen. 「失礼します。お元気ですか。私の名前は四十二です。あのときのファイルは、私のでしたよ。」

Rin does peek out.

She prepares herself, and heads down the way the voices came.

Nothing There is barely damaged by the kicks, but the flame is significantly more effective, making it stagger briefly.

And then it eats super-lead and roars its awful screechy roar again, before charging at Martine with a revenge claw-swipe!

"I think so. In addition to using sheer force to battle Set, Horus broadcasted their fight to everybody in his world. With the combined hope of everybody cheering him on empowering him, he managed to overpower and defeat Set," Thor says. "So, in order to replicate this feat, we're going to need somebody powerful enough to stand up to Set and for the battle to be broadcasted to everyone in the Arena."

He adjusts himself in his chair slightly.

"I'll handle the former requirement by seeing if Callis and I can persuade her friend, Middler, to face Set. Not only is he strong enough to match that monster, but Set is a great enough threat to justify his involvement. As for the broadcast, well, I was hoping that you and perhaps Platinum could carry out that part."

AHHHH YES DANGER!

However before she can be harmed Bokuko’s clones leap down and try to smash the beast with blazing Rasengans! The other clones rush closer but at least one has to avoid Martine’s reckless firing.
