Beerus is caught off-guard. He clears his throat. "I am Lord Beerus. Might I inquire as to the nature of this?"

Roxas and Xion are unable to respond.

"I guess I am a bit of a joke, but that's why he didn't like me. He didn't like that I was so... obnoxiously cheery, I guess."

Skippy manifests Laugh Track◊ and leans on it sideways like a dancer's cane. "I'm not like that anymore, though."

"'Lord' Beerus?", Artemas mutters as he looks at his sister.

"Maybe he's royalty.", Althea softly says as she looks at him too. "In which case we should be really respectful, right?"

"I guess so."

They look back at Beerus.

"We were playing a game, your majesty."

"And we won an ice bread."

Filia sighs,

"I suppose not, quite sad really. But existence is unkind to those whom are cheery, so I can see why you change. I can feel power emanating from you, how much power? I can't tell, not yet. But you hold information of my father, and I want it. I lived in a block of ice for an untold age, but much happened."

"Oh, I'm not a king-"

Whoops.

"Er... I mean... Yes, I can see that. Must've been one of those twists on 'ice cream'."

"I don't know much about your dad. I wasn't involved in his downfall, but he had crazy ice powers."

"You surely know more than you're letting on, you can't fool me."

"Indeed. It's ice cream put between two slices of bread. And it tastes pretty good.", Althea says.

"And now that we know about it, we can eat it whenever we want.", Artemas says. He then glances back at Xion and Roxas, looking confused.

"... Why are you being so quiet?"

Xion just seems nervous. "He's emitting a crushing aura... can't you feel it?"

Roxas is on-edge. "I dunno what exactly that energy is, though..."

"Well, it's to be expected, really." Beerus scoffs without elaborating on why.

Skippy sighs. "Have it your way."

"Don't take this personally, but I've got a feeling you're not up to anything good with that information." He launches at Filia with a combo of Keyblade swings as he flips and slides all over the place!

Althea looks back now too, equally confused.

"I don't feel anything. ... I don't know what aura is either.", she says.

"I feel a bit itchy above my ear, if that's what you mean.", Artemas says. "I'm gonna wash my hair later today."

After taking a moment to calm himself, Thor speaks up.

"Why do you think Katre and Troa want Eleven to be spared? Obviously, they plan on using her for something sinister. Whether it's grooming her into their successor or simply using her as an attack dog for when my allies and I come for them, I cannot say, but I would rather not allow them the freedom to execute their scheme."

He picks up Stormbringer.

"That, along with what I said before, is why Eleven needs to die."

"I believe that is what's known as a term of endearment, Tharja. Surely, there's nothing unforgivably heinous about her comment," Severus remarks, pocketing his stone as he offers Tharja a slight smirk.

An ice wall throws itself in front of Filia, sliding backwards to let the wall tank the force of the blows and shatter like glass. The demonness inhales deeply, releasing a freezing cold breath that enveloped most of the environment in a cone shape with a deep freeze in an attempt to finish the fight before it could begin.

Vague Tropique

Eternal Kakarotto himself, praise be, is having a picnic by himself on the ground.

"Mmmhmmhmmm!"

Meanwhile, Oca is eating a bag of egg chips. Delicious.

"Man, I miss New Los Angeles, but this place is cool too."

Beerus' eye twitches at the lack of acknowledgement.

Then he snaps.

"No, no, that is IT!" Beerus starts sweeping his arms in grand exaggerated gestures as he goes nuts! "That's ENOUGH! I have had enough of not being taken seriously here! I am Beerus, the God of Destruction!"

He suddenly boils over and is reduced to standing there glaring in indignant fury, a malicious purple aura surrounding him.

Beerus' Madness

"You know what? Maybe it's time I remind you all why I have that title..." He reaches out one arm, fingers pointed straight up, thumb over the palm, aimed directly at the group.

"Reflega!" Roxas and Xion quickly raise a large-scale magical barrier around themselves, Artemas and Althea.

"Hakai."

Everything around them - from the largest buildings to the smallest specks of dirt - dissolves at the molecular level in a spray of purple motes of light, including the combined Reflega, reduced to empty space and a crater... with those five individuals in it.

Xion covers her mouth in horror. Roxas grits his teeth, but his eyes betray his shock as Beerus calmly puts that hand behind his back again.

Skippy resists the sheer cold, though he does take a fair amount of damage. He tries again, this time throwing his Keyblade at Filia before teleporting to it with a lightning-fast assault!

Neuff is just hanging out behind him, having teleported in.

Ye, NLA was pretty cool.

Dahlila take her leave.

"Oh hey!"

He turns to Neuff, grinning.

"Been a while, huh? Wassap?"

Filia hadn't quite seen a technique like this before, but she adapts quickly. With quick reflexes she manages to block the first two blows, but isn't quite on guard enough to catch the rest as he flies through the air backwards and into a nearby rock. The frozen rock shattered as she collided with it. Filia jumps to her feet in a flash,

"You're stronger than anticipated dog."

She scowled for a moment, before a rain of ice spikes began to fall upon the battlefield. Filia seemed unaffected by any that touched her, simply phasing through her. Was this an illusion?

Vague Tropique

Kakarotto's picnic is interrupted as the Devourer of Gods makes her usual appearance, tearing a hole through space and stepping through.

   "Nice day for a picnic, kid."   

As the two fight, another person enters the area. Yharim, the Jungle Tyrant, approaches the two, looking on with intrigue from the sidelines as the two fight.

Kyubeys are Disposable

The Kyubey infront of Freeze man is killed, being torn apart by the shot, easily. From the rooftops above, Another telepathic message will arrive We'll see what we can do about that. Perhaps we can arrange... something special.

Neuff grins and levitate a bit.

"Sure is!" he says, shoving another roast leg of daemon down his gullet before turning to the newcomer. "Uh, who're you?"

Kakarotto pops up to his feet, extending a hand. "My name's Goku!"

He claps a hand to his mouth in mock horror.

"You're a monster, Neuff."

"Heheh, what's going on? Been a while since I've just wandered about here." He wags a finger. "You know, I've gotten an actual job now, back home? As a professor."

Ohhh, that's great! Whaddya teach?

She spins around a little, and fold her arms, before settling on standing upside down.

"Hrrrnnng... Just... just get back to me on that later. I'm in a sour mood now."

Freeze Man huffs and storms off.

Not wanting to find out if it's real or not, Skippy tries to deflect the ice with his Keyblade.

That little meter fills one at a time with every successful chain of attacks. When it's full... well, it's planned to get full, so we'll find out.

The ice is real, shattering upon contact with his blocks directed upwards. What was not real, however was Filia. What he thought was filia melted into a puddle of water, and an instant later she reappears next to Skippy. Her arm twisted and malformed into some combination of bone and ice to create a blade aimed directly for his stomach.

The both of them are caught off guard by Beerus suddenly getting angry. They're so taken aback that they can't really say anything in response to what Beerus is saying.

They only really seem to snap back to it when they see the entire town disappearing around them, breaking down into nothing.

"H-hey... the house we stayed in is gone...", Artemas softly mutters in shock.

"And the store where we got that ice cream...", Althea mutters back, looking both shocked and distraught. "And the plaza where we played our games..."

Artemas looks back at her, seeing how she's taking it, then turns back to Beerus, a look of pure defiance in his eyes as he raises his hand a little, then slowly snaps.

It's only but a second later that everything Beerus just erased suddenly starts to reform, including any potential NPC people that may have been present, which may take Xion, Roxas and especially Beerus himself by surprise. Roxas and Xion may also realize that, since the siblings have both been able to outright brings things into existence instantly, Artemas could have probably just snapped the town back in one piece in an instant too.

Which means he's making it rebuild itself up on purpose, maybe to prove a point.

Althea looks at him as the town reforms, seeing his look, eyes intense but everything else cold and calm.

"My sister and I are trying to find a place to call home.", Artemas says, his voice a bit lower. "This place may just be the place we've been looking for. We desperately want to give it one last go."

He lowers his hand.

"But we can't do that if you just up and destroy the place! And we are not giving this chance up just because you got angry! I don't care if you're a king or a god, or whatever else, have some SARDING DECENCY!!!", he says, yelling at the end.

Althea is only surprised for a moment, after which she turns to look at Beerus too, sporting the same expression as her brother.

"We do not let ourselves get pushed around, not by anyone. And consarn it, if you're assuming we will because you're apparently a god, then I'll have to disappoint. You can destroy this place a thousand times over and we'll just keep bringing it back."

"But if you try to kill us... if you even try to hurt my sister in any way, I will end you. Right here and now."

"I agree with your assumption. That's likely one of the reasons why they want Eleven alive. They mentioned being fond of her as another reason. But I digress. My statement stands. I can't help you if you go with the riskier plan."

He then glances at Botar, then at Pilly.

"Please leave us alone for a moment."

"Are you certain?", Botar asks.

"Thor is a trusted ally. I don't fear being alone with him.", Pseudo says. Botar then nods and warps out, while Pilly walks into a hallway, after which Pseudo presses a button on his desk that lowers some thick steel doors.

"While I'm not going to try to force you to change your mind, especially with how personal the matter is to you and your close friends, I feel like we need another talk so that I can properly explain my decision to not get involved. There's no need to worry about me closing the doors. ... I just don't like to talk about this matter, so I'd like for as few people as possible to hear and see this. I especially don't want Pilly to be present."

He then sighs for a moment, not saying anything yet. As if he has to mentally prepare himself. He's never behaved like this before, so Thor will be able to tell that it's serious.

"I'm not really the type for endearment.", she says as she pockets her stone too. "But I suppose there are worse things I could be called."

She then smirks.

"I'll just cast a hex on her later this evening that'll give her some serious feet rash as my revenge.", she says in a joking tone.

The Devourer shakes Goku's hand.    "They call me the Devourer of Gods."   

Right, then, no use to subtlety. Yharim approaches Skippy and Filia, drawing his gigantic sword. He leaps at Filia, aiming a kick at her stomach to try and separate the two.
