Madragyosa, in response to the Dope Slap, suddenly charges towards Katniss, acting more on instinct, and tries to sink her fangs into Katniss' neck.

Terry remains quiet and keeps holding Lucas. He can't respond to Shadow since he completely focused on holding Lucas.
Katniss sidesteps away from Madragyosa just before the vampire can bite her. "Whoa, whoa! I was trying to get your attention! No need to try and suck my blood over it!"

Madragyosa then snaps back to her senses.
"I did what?"

Lucas begins to look panicked.
"N-no, don't do this! I-I need this! I need the Metatron! It'll help me destroy evil! Think of all the people I can save with Metatron! I'm not some cultist, you know that's true!"
"All done.", Ionia says. She walks up to Lucas and puts her hand on his head. Lucas looks terrified.
"N-no, don't. Please!"
Then Ionia begins to shine, and so does Lucas. After a few seconds, it stops. Lucas looks like he's about to faint. Ionia is silent.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.

Terry looks at Ionia.
".....Did it work?" He asks her.
"You tried to bite me just now in response to me slapping you out of annoyance," Katniss says to Madragyosa, taking a moment to glimpse at Lucas and Ionia. "Now, why were you flashing me those disconcerting smiles earlier after reassuring me that you won't try to drink my blood due to you having already had your fill?"

"Well, why didn't you just say that when I asked you the first time?" Katniss says to Madragyosa.
Shadow stomps his foot, creating a crash, his eyes, and his now-visible fanged mouth, lighting up blood-red.
"I need to tell you NOW!"

"There was competition, you know..."
And then comes the crash, which nearly sends Madragyosa falling over.

Ionia... looks shocked.
"It failed!?"
Lucas then grins.
"Of course it failed. You were out of time. If you had done this a few hours earlier, you would've succeeded. But now... I have fully bonded with my Metatron. It's part of me, and I'm part of it. We're one being now. So seperating us is impossible. I just played along for fun."
Claus looks shocked now too. Lucas turns his head a bit, looking at Terry, grinning evilly.
"Are you going to let me go now? Or do you want an entire fleet of aliens after you? Let me go so that Shadow can tell us what he wants to tell!"
In the sky, Niiue shakes his head in sadness.
"I thought we had more time... damn..."

"Yeah, over candy," Katniss says to Madragyosa. "Do you always get that competitive?"
She then notices Ionia's attempt to remove Lucas' Metatron ending in failure, though she's also ready to listen to what Shadow has to say. "No... Lucas..."

"Thanks. I had trouble breathing. I thought you were going to crush my ribs."
He then turns to Shadow. It appears he's not going to attack Terry or Ionia over this, luckily.
"You have my attention."
Ionia and Claus, not able to do anything about this right now, also look at Shadow.

Shadow, his eyes and mouth glowing blood-red, frowns grimly.
"I've just made mental contact with one who I believe is to blame for the False Lucas we've encountered earlier. The voice claims to be attempting to collect someone in order to trade for something else. The 'Lucas' was in fact a Shapeshifter. When I noted we were catching on, the voice panicked and retreated. It tried to play us for fools, and I caught on. you do not mess with ME and get away with it."

Terry looks at Daydre.
"I..am fine." He says to her, though he sounds a bit disapointed and sad based on his voice. Then he looks at Shadow.
"So the other one was a fake? Damn it." He says.

"I see. Thanks for telling us this, Shadow," Katniss says to Shadow. "I'll be on my guard the next time this shapeshifter gets involved."
He walks over to Claus and lays a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry the Metatron couldn't be removed from Lucas' body. How are you feeling, Claus?"
"A shapeshifter?" , Lucas asks.
Lucas ponders.
"We can't chase down something if we don't know what it looks like or what it's called. And it probably wasn't Greyface's ally, I'm sure you all would've caught on if it was."
He floats a bit again, sitting in the air and pondering more.
"But this doesn't sound good at all. If they have evil purposes..."
Lucas clenches his fist.
"Then they are mortal enemies of mine! And I will destroy them!"
Suddenly, Claus hits himself once.
"Ah man. I gave our only picture of mom to a fraud!?"
He looks at Katniss.
"...I'm not really sure. I-"
He then looks back at Lucas, frightened, as Lucas is giving Claus and Katniss a very scary Death Glare.
"Were you two in on what Ionia was trying to do!?" , he asks, sounding livid.
He then looks away from them.
"You're both lucky that there's something more important than that going on right now." , he hisses.
He looks back at Shadow.
"What do you suggest we do to drive them into a corner? No, wait, let's start at the beginning. Did they tell you anything else? Do we know anything about them?" , he asks.

Lucas keeps struggling, unable to escape.
"D-damnit! Let me go! I'm a king! I command you!"
He looks up at the sky.
"Niiue! Kill him! Quickly!"
Claus looks shocked that Lucas said something like that.
"5 more seconds.", Ionia says to Shadow. "Then I'll have taken Lucas's Metatron away from him. And his mental state won't worsen any further."
Lucas looks at Ionia, a mix of fright and anger in his expression.

Niiue is up in the sky, out of sight, watching what's happening.
