Demon hunt

Homura swaps machine guns to a 50 Cal, Firing larger munitions now. In the meanwhile, Guts Moves in with the Dragonslayer, attempting to cleave at the giant demon's chest with a massive strike.

A Belated meeting

Airy smirks with a malicious grin, before saying "I guess I'll be off on my way too. I can feel that this will be a grand relationship." She then flies off, scouting out information she can use.

Chapter One: A Nightmare of Paranoia

Hub Centralis, Crystal Orthodoxy Church

Agnes would finish a sermon, Smiling, leaving the building, with Tiz and Yew Leaving alongside her, Guarding her. She begins to make a wrong turn out of the doors, before Edea and ringabel, expecting such, move to redirect her on her proper path through the city.

The Unmakyr blasts a hole through the daemon's esophagus. Arachnos's webs don't seem to do much other than making it twitch a bit - it looks like it wasn't weak to lightning after all.

Until, of course, Homura and Guts start shredding it up. Then it's squishy and conductive insides are exposed, and hoo boy.

*FZZZZAP!*

Looks like sushi's back on the menu, boys!

Data UCN: Wave 3

Fukua turns her arm into a drill, attempting to drill into Springtrap before turning the arm into a cannon and blowing him away.

Foxy joins the bouncy gang, zipping around and leaving a lightning trail behind him.

Chica simply ducks for cover from all of the chaos, accompanied by Bonnie.

Freddy aims his tophat to try and smack Music Man, almost trying to disarm him, or to see of he takes damage when active.

On the balcony...

Tager: "Yeah, they have a point. Mr. Hippo seems to be the real thing."

Kokonoe: "How he got in there is anyone's guess."

They press a button, warping out Mr. Hippo...

Music Man does indeed take damage when active! He takes a lot. But then he shuts down and becomes invulnerable once again.

Springtrap goes tumbling away. Phantom Balloon Boy appears and sends a wave of darkness at the Refurbs, while Phantom Freddy vanishes. Phantom Mangle hovers over Neo Metal. If he tries to attack Springtrap, it will seize him and immobilize him.

"So I pat him on the back and I say 'Alright, friend, just remember' -"

Anti-Skullgirl Labs

"- 'We only have to do this a few more times. It's, what, just Minnesota and Iowa left? C'mon, pal, we can get through this!' And Orville actually leaned down and I noticed he was wiping tears from his eyes..."

Data Hippo joins the fight! He leaps up and dives at Fukua with a Power Dunk-esque punch.

Addison sighs with relief and swings their sword at Springtrap.

The seal's armor melts away. She fires a pink-colored spray of bubbles at Data Mr. Hippo.

Neo Metal is riding his aggression high - which results in him getting snagged.

Bloody Bunny jumps up and does a vertical twirling slash on Springtrap as she falls.

The Doom Slayer has no interest in eating daemon meat.

However, red swirly stuff starts to pop up all around the hunters - a key sign of demons afoot.

Important distinction: Daemons come from the realm of Chaos, demons come from Hell (in most continuities) or the Demon Realm (in Dragon Ball continuities). They are similar in some ways and different in other ways.

Island of Intrigue

There's a dim atmosphere around the base. Kumatora◊, Duster◊, Fuel◊ and Nana◊, concerned, look out the doorway at Claus◊, who's moving some equipment from G.E.M. around outside, a few Pigmasks◊ helping him. They sometimes try to say something to him, anything in an attempt to make him react a little, as it's getting more and more worrisome. But he just keeps mindlessly working, behaving more like a robot than the Masked Man ever did.

"... had he said anything at all since yesterday?", Fuel softly asks. Kumatora shakes her head.

"Not one word."

"... how are miss Hinawa and mister Flint doing?", Nana asks.

"They're talking to each other right now.", Duster says. "It's likely Lucas will want to come back here one last time for Hinawa, and then..."

"You mean they're saying their goodbyes?", Nana sadly asks.

"They can't just let Lucas go back alone... but they can't just leave Claus behind either..."

Pseudo Porky's◊ monitor is floating all throughout the Arena, though stays clear of the areas near the Cyber Angel Fortress. It's trying to find any signs of Dark Riku.

Cradlecrush Rock

Maleficent◊ stands watch over Kakleon's nightclub, looking somewhat repulsed by its existence.

She notices Pseudo's monitor passing over her head, though, and taps her staff against the ground, trying to magically pull it down in her direction.

Chloé curiously nibble on the stuff but then kind of vomit it up. Samsara attempts to focus on the demons, since they are likely to be less squicky.

...

Kakleon stands out of his nightclub. A bunch of feminine shadows swirls around him, caressing his chest or hair. He remains unfazed, though.

Yo boss! Look, she's doing something screwy with the monitor!

A small little girl pop out of the nightclub. She looks like she's ten, with a blonde bob haircut and a cigar, of all things, in her mouth. In answer, Kakleon snorts.

I'm not really looking to get involved in that stuff, so, heh. Keep an eye on 'em.

The girl frowns, and her frown deepens especially when he and his dark harem pass by her : He swipes her cigar and put it in his mouth.

It's my cigar you cunt!

That stuff will kill ya.

Bah! Nothing can.

Kakleon laughs and vanish back into the eternal party. The little girl grumbles but decide to stay at her spot, looking at Maleficient from afar.

Sophie attempts to strike at Springtrap with the gatling-gun move she used beforehand.

The monitor, having no magic protection, is easily pulled down, to Pseudo's surprise.

"What the... someone's hijacking the controls. Probably the Cyber Angels. Damnit, I'll have to make it self-destruct, just in case."

"Hold on, brother.", Pilly◊ says when Maleficent shows on the screen. "Who is that?"

"... no idea. But likely not with them."

When the monitor is positioned in front of Maleficent, Pseudo activates the speaker so that they'll be able to talk to each other.

"... Greetings.", he politely says, not wanting to be confrontational before he can be certain about her intentions.

Maleficent gets all haughty, puffs out her chest, etc.

   "Greetings. You must be the ones searching for Riku."   

Maleficent might find some amusement out of Pseudo's and Pilly's shocked faces.

"How do..."

"Uh-d... do you perhaps know where we can find him, miss?", Pilly asks.

Varik◊ enters Kakleon's nightclub, glancing around for a moment before walking further.

While some of the people around here make him a bit nervous, it doesn't show on his person at all, coming off as the stoic type.

Demon hunt

Homura, having no interest in chowing down, Prepares to open fire.

Guts, in the meanwhile, grinning like a madman, Prepares to swing

The girl notices his entrance and decide to follow him. She rubs her hands a little and then steel herself to interact with Varik.

Remember : You're doing this to be at the top.

She attempts to get in front of Varik and puts on her best smile.

Oh heeeyyyyy mister! It's nice to see a new face, hiiii! She says, making cutesy jazz hands. My name is Anniiitttaaa, but my friends call me Ani! Who are you?

Varik turns his head to look at the girl, staring for a moment before slightly lifting his tinted glasses to get a better look at her. The shadow casted by his long hair still makes it hard for Anita to see his eyes though.

"... I'm Varik.", he says, then slightly tilts his head.

"... do you work here?"

   "I am Maleficent. Riku works for me."    Maleficent grins smugly.    "He told me he had a hunch someone would come looking. However..."   

She puts on her best impression of a troubled, thoughtful expression.    "Shortly after the tournament which he won, he was savaged by a random passerby claiming to recognize him who held a grudge. He has retreated into the darkness, where he is safe. If you wish to negotiate with him, you will need to make certain... preparations."   

Intrigue

Near Claus's base, a portable hole opens up and Skippy pops out once again.

Why yeeesssss! I'm here to bring a smile to all our clients! She puts her hands over her head and make a winky face. It's because I'm such a ray of sunlight!

She spins backwards and nearly slaps a random shadow, though neither seems to notice. So don't worry! Ask me questions and I'll have a answer for every-single-one!! Welll, maybe not the existentialist stuff! Ohh, and the personal stuff too!

Solstheim

   "   When I sword my oaths to my patron, I was far from lucid or wise. At the time, I accepted the power and the pain that came with each new boon, but... recent events have opened my eyes to my foolishness. As for the helmet itself...   "   

Vahasia reached out and conjured the helmet back to her hands. The six eyes of the alien, horned headpiece were dark and empty — no hellfire-glow lit them.

   "   It seems to have become more loosely bound to me since I removed it. If the helmet was that painful, however, I worry that removing the armor may be lethally painful.   "

Trellis goes completely still. The voice in his head goes silent as well, for a Beat.

   You can fix that. You can help her. Use my power, and you can save her from the prison of her armor.   

The elf shakes his head. "I wish I could do something about that... but I can't. Not without sacrificing myself."

   Well, at least you won't be making deals with demons.    She checks her nails.    They're sooo unreliable, and power is best used by yourself, not a third party.   

Claus doesn't react at all, though a few of the Pigmasks notice him, with one of them approaching him.

"Hello there. You're a friend of Masters Claus, Fuel and Nana, right?", Richard asks. "You've... picked a rather troubling time to-"

"Skippy!", Fuel's voice then calls out, easily louder than Richard. When the Pigmask turns around to look, Fuel and Nana approach, while Kumatora and Duster watch from a small distance.

Claus still doesn't react at all.

Pseudo's eyes immediately look more wary the moment Maleficent reveals Riku works for her. When she lies to them, Pilly seems to buy it immediately, whereas Pseudo looks less convinced. Makes sense when one considers who made him and what he used to be like.

"That's troubling news. I hope he's doing alright.", Pseudo then says. "Then, may I ask, what preparations should I make if I wish to meet him?"

"... aren't you a bit young to be working in a nightclub?", Varik asks, then pauses.

"Then again, I guess I'm also young to be entering one."

He shrugs.

"Questions, huh? Alright. Can I order food here as well, or is it purely drinks?"

   "   I wouldn't ask anyone to sacrifice themselves to save me. I doubt I'm really worth that kind of price... But I'm not going to stay chained to my... "master" without a fight, I assure you — and I don't particularly intend to make any more patronly deals after this one. Once burned, as they say.   "   

The word "master" seemed to set off something in Vahasia, as her attitude became more defiant and aggressive towards her patron after she said it.

Oh, it's to get some pocket money to buy myself... stuff. You know what they say about being precocious and all. Hey, you know it more than anyone because you look set and ready for adventure!

She points briefly at him and nods.

Yeah. And you can pick whatever you want. Maybbbeee not vegan stuff. You know what that is, huh?

Trellis huffs. "Good to know."

Maleficent taps her staff again, and a black cloak appears in her arm.

   "Black cloaks ward off darkness and allow you to blend in with the shadows. Without it, your hearts will be consumed in but an instant. And I am not too proud to warn you: Acts of deceit and aggression to get your way may cause the darkness to claim you even with the cloak."   

"Hey there, everyone!" says Skippy.

He runs over to greet them, but then notices Claus.

"... Is something wrong?"

Falkreath

So, why are we being teleported here, boss?

Troa, Katre and Set stand high above Skyrim's region, flying thanks to the latter's power. Set says nothing and just lift a single finger, creating a black energy ball. Then, he throws it down at Falkreath, and a huge red mushroom explosion is created, carving a large crater upon the region. Its surroundings are also badly damaged, sparkling with red lightning as the sky above begins to get covered by black clouds.

   I tire of standing back! Let this Arena know of my message in blood! Let the screams and wails bring forth my message! May the recollection of this slaughter be carved upon the planet!   

Ohohohoh, sure thing boss!

   Kill and slaughter! Let none of those below live! Massacre them!   

Katre and Troa drop to the ground like meteorites and land amidst the ruins. Set stands far above, manifesting a storm above the region. The rest of the Cabal watch from afar, standing on a small black platform.

Oh good, I was getting tired of waiting!

   Not now my lackeys! Let more rats come to the slaughter!   

Alright, Lord Set. Says AC/DC, a bit worried.

Haha the boss's gone crazy! Laughs Giratina.

Katre and Troa, below, prepare themselves to intercept do-gooders.

Falkreath

Thouzer is encamped nearby. He wonders if he should join the slaughter... but then he'd be too likely to become collateral damage if it so much as amused Set in his current mood.

A big-ass bird-monster approaches. This poor thing has no idea what it's up against, but it lets loose a shrill, ear-piercing screech nonetheless.

The Wash

OH FUCK OH GOD OH SHIT IT'S ARCHVILES

Creatures of Nekravol

Like five Archviles appear. Three of them start slinging waves of fire, while the other two raise walls of flames to defend themselves as the frozen images of other demons appear, formed from orange light.

The Doom Slayer switches to his Super Shotgun and fires his Meat Hook at one of the exposed Viles, trying to grapple to it.
