Thanks to Blitz, some unlikely allies, and myself after being rebooted, she was captured, and Chandra was instructed to live with Blitz's family for the time being."

42's expression changes, but only slightly. A hint of smugness. "Despite being a blubbering mess extremely confused about whose side was the better to stand on, and two police officers being right there in front of her, Chandra still avoided capture by the police at the end of the day."

Tahn stares again.

"... Well, I guess I can't judge on people's tastes.", he says.

Then, at the end of her story, he catches her meaning and doesn't look that amused.

"Again, it doesn't count if I want to be here!", he mutters, clearly butthurt.

"Did I give off the impression that I was mocking you?" 42 asks, clearly mocking him.

"Anyway, then there is... the other one. Gear. And you may be wondering what makes me so confident that she's worse than you. Well, the worst thing I've heard from you is your kidnapping of a personal friend..." 42 looks aside, her expression becoming a frown for the first time since entering Pseudo's base. "Gear murders for sport."

"Uh, yeah!", Tahn responds, still as unamused. His expression calms down when she drops the metaphorical bomb though.

"... for sport? ... like a serial killer?", he carefully asks.

Garden Of Color

Seth gets smacked up by the miniature Tower, but tries to adjust themselves and slash at the Tide with dark energy as they get pulled to it.

Vanessa simply stays out of the way.

The Demon Tide has visibly shrunken now, especially hurt by the Ultima Cannon. It strafes away from the combatants, launching large clusters of Shadows stuck together in balls similar to less menacing versions of its own core into the air, which rain down in a manner akin to a meteor shower.

Sonic kicks up enough sparks to start a fire - Fire Shield, that is! He leaps up, letting the flames rip through the Shadow-balls (pun fully intended) and lunges at the Demon Tide's core in a living fireball!

Lingering Will slices away at them with his Keyblade as he backs away from the fight.

"In short, yes. Gear wants nothing more than a worthy adversary - a rival. Anyone in the way of her finding such a foe is metaphorical chopped liver, and liable to become literal chopped liver if she just so happens to feel like it."

R7039-X now chooses his moment to strike, having gathered a lot of psychic power. Greyface chooses to have his robot attack the Tide instead of defending against the Heartless meteors, as he launches a huge psychic blast towards the Demon Tide.

This results in R7039-X getting struck by some of the meteors, the attacks dealing some visible damage to its armor.

"Jeez. She's freaking crazy.", Tahn says, not really sparing on the bluntness.

Hakumen charge forward, slicing through the projectiles and attempting to reach the tide. His progress is slow since he isn't that fast though.

"She is also missing the left half of her body, lost in a bombing attack that also killed her mother. It's been filled in with cybernetics... which she uses to kill people."

Now there's a tinge of sympathy in his eyes.

"Huh... is that right?", he asks, his voice slightly softer.

"... why are you telling me all this? Going by this story, I feel there's got to be a reason you came down here to talk to me."

ASL Exterior

Omega didn't particularly notice the strange quirks of the gun, nor was he particularly able to notice given that he was essentially slipping into a full-on berserker rage. Even when his attacks bounced, he was usually able to learn something about his opponents, but Data-Dylan was presenting mist-veiled, impenetrable wall to that usual method... and it was really starting to piss Omega off.

He switched his [Stand] to dual form — self and separate at once — and activated [Wail of the Banshee], attempting to lower Data-Dylan's defenses with a mind-piercing, ghostly shriek, before attempting to rush in with a heavy, two-handed, horizontal body-strike!

"I only sought to gauge your reaction to the information I presented."

42 does a bow.

"I hope this has given you something to occupy your thoughts with in your spare time."

"I... don't see how my reaction matters. Did you want to see what I'd think about serial killers or something?", Tahn asks, confused. He then scratches the back of his head when she bows.

"But, uh... thanks? I guess? For giving me something that'll make me less bored.", he says.

"Actually, I was more interested in what you thought about the Raccoon, but I digress. That will be all."

42 turns and prepares to walk out of the cell.

"Wait, before you go...", Tahn says after she's turned around. He then asks with a somewhat careful tone.

"... Any reason why your name is a number?"

"Simply put, I am the forty-second in a line of robots produced by Dr. Ishinomori."

42 thumbs the hilt of her katana, partially exposing it from the sheath to draw Tahn's attention to it. She promptly slides it back into the sheath.

"The blade I use was procured from my 'older sister', 35."

Tahn looks so shocked that it's actually comical.

"You're a robot!?"

He pauses.

"... I guess that does explain why your face is grey...", he mutters. He then looks at the katana, and for some reason he suddenly starts to look a lot more wary than before.

"That's... a pretty cool sword."

"Indeed. Its blade emits an electromagnetic pulse upon collision with any metallic surface, disabling electronics."

"And you better not get any ideas." 42 steps out.

"Psh, what could I use that for? Blades aren't my thing, robo-girl. I prefer daggers.", he says, putting on an expression of bravado.

After she steps out, he crosses his arms and smirks.

"Don't forget to close the door behind you, or Pseudo won't be happy with you."

"Would you really take this offered opportunity to escape and violate your own beliefs about being here of your own will?"

Despite her remark, 42 then promptly closes the door before Tahn can prove her wrong.

He proceeds to show the same expression as a kid caught stealing cookies by their parents, not having expected her to have known he said that. Then he glances aside, slightly pouting.

"Pft, like I'd get far anyway.", he mumbles to himself, turning back around and laying down on the ground, which 42'll be able to see from the window. He then raises one hand in the air and pretends he's tossing and catching a ball repeatedly.

Considering Pseudo noting earlier that Ken Tahn tends to spend his time imagining things, his imagination is either very strong, or being stuck in this cell, despite his own claims, may be affecting him after all this time after all.

42 simply stands there and watches in silence for an eerily long time, before simply turning and proceeding back the way she came.

It's a good thing Tahn doesn't notice, or he'd probably be freaked out. Nevertheless, for as long as she watches, he continues doing that same thing, seemingly without getting bored.

After a while though, he starts to smile, which 42 won't have been able to see from her position. Pseudo would be able to see it through the cameras, but there's no context behind it for him to think anything of it.

Said smile comes from what he's thinking right now.

"It never fails to amuse me how they can't see a thing."

Garden Of Color

The Demon Tide is preparing something, opening it's core up for damage in the process...

Vanessa takes the same path as Lingering Will; Ansem's gone, and she isn't really of the strength to deal with this...

Seth bounces between balls of Shadows, slicing through them; To end it, though...

Seth: "Shinkuu... HADOUKEN!"

They fire a large blue ball of energy right for the core!

The Demon Tide gets hit by the attacks, almost staggering back. It's starting to take heavy losses now!

It uses the pillar attack once more, targeting Lingering Will, R7039-X, and Vanessa; But when the pillars reach the Tide, they instead fire as one large moving beam, threatening to hit everyone involved if not dodged.

Sonic does a Spin Dash, but gets knocked out of it by a pillar attack, destroying his Fire Shield.

Lingering Will attempts to sling Vanessa out of the way as he jumps to avoid the swarm of Heartless. He then attempts to strike true at the Demon Tide's core, with a merger of dark frost wrapped around his Keyblade!
