"Odin's beard! Is it time already to face Dharkon?!"

"An alert that our march into the Dark Realm was to begin wouldn't have gone amiss, Mad Titan... And of course, you're just going to laze about on your gigantic purple arse and not even bother sending one member of the Black Order while we do the actual work..."

With that, the Sons of Odin rush headlong after the others into the Dark Realm.

Dharkon falls silent for a moment.

Then he makes one last loud droning sound, giving the same    "THEN DIE"    sort of message as Galeem.

The center of the Dark Realm where everyone is positioned dissolves away into nothing, and the fighters fall between the dimensions.

"Not agAIN-"

Dharkon

Conditions:

• Take your strongest team into this no-frills battle

Final Destination

The fighters all land on the same exact flat stage with floating platforms over it that they had fought Galeem on. This time, however, the world around them is not a sea of calm light, but an inky blackness, as thick as the inside of a pit of tar. In an eruption of purple fire, Dharkon's tentacles come flying up from the edge behind the fighters. Due to the sounds being made, it'd be hard not to notice them.

The tentacles coil together into a cylinder shape, then spread open in the middle to reveal Dharkon's eye, which emerges with his signature droning pulse as the tentacles recede behind it all tangled up in a knot. Then he draws back his tentacles before converging their tips at the air around the fighters like a cage, stopping just short of actually stabbing them, in a threat display.

After that, Dharkon's tentacles bundle up into what can only loosely be called their "usual" formation◊ as the darkness recedes, revealing that Final Destination is flying through a hellish maelstrom of chaos.

Dharkon

Dharkon moves up high above the fighters as his tentacles twist into a vaguely conical shape, and begins spraying a hellstorm of small, weak but numerous dark energy bullets down upon the stage. By some strange logic, these shots cannot be reflected back at him or absorbed, although they can still be defended against through other means.

Pit holds up the Mirror Shield to protect himself, the numerous impacts making his arm tremble.

Callis just zooms underneath Final Destination, then warps back above it with a flying punch to Dharkon's eye as soon as the barrage ends.

Iron Man draws a shield and erect it to protect the others, with the sheperds, unable to strike from such a distance, hiding beneath it. It does pin them in place.

Baldur just tank the projectiles, not caring much about them. He uses his strength to jump high in the air and attempt to punch Dharkon !

Nagato blocks the projectiles heading towards her with a sonic pulse, while Oca just bawoops around. Some skin him, causing him to wince.

Enforcer, tank that he is, takes the hits without care. The dinosaurian daemon rears back and starts charging a spooky-ass Hellfire Cannon. His mouth glows an ominous orange and black.

Versus Dharkon

Joker begins to dodge the incoming projectiles, Actually elementally resisting the projectiles which hit him, Moving in to range to fire his gun at dharkon. Flynn, in the meanwhile, Would do much of the same, althoug he seems more capable in the dodging department, Going in for A slash With maskado's Blade.

Grimoire weiss, in the meanwhile, would weave through the attacks, Firing a barrage of arcane projectiles at dharkon in reply, speaking out.    "I shall not fall to such a Horrendous foe! I am grimoire weiss, entire kingdoms crumble at the mention or my name, armies drop their arms and flee at a rumor! And I shall not be defeated by some Squid monster!"   

In the meanwhile, madoka would do her best to avoid the incoming shots, but she'd be hit by quite a few of them. However, her soul gem does not seem damaged in the slightest, so she essentially tanks it. She draws back the string of her bow, with massive pink flames errupting out of both ends, and releases a Pink flame arrow.

The Batter, while surprised for a moment, lets himself fall without fear, ending up on Final Destination.

His attention is solely on Dharkon, a representation of the corruption that the Batter wishes to purify. Not his surroundings, nor the other fighters, mean anything to him in this moment.

When Dharkon threatens them, he grips his bat tightly.

   "Prepare yourself to suffer my judgement."   

The Batter starts out trying to bat the blasts away, but there's too many of them at once, so eventually he does get hit by a good number of them, flinching with each hit. His Add-Ons hide behind him, and as such avoid any damage.

Alpha charges forward towards Dharkon, a string of afterimages left in his wake as he attempts to ram him in the eye (Entire String).

Omega starts blurring around, but the blurs starts to converge as he gets closer to Dharkon, creating a radiant effect as it tries to ram him as well (Radiant Blur). This attack ignores any defensive buffs the enemy might have, but against Dharkon, this may not make much of a difference.

Epsilon starts flying erratically around the Batter in a dramatic manner, every turn, twist and halt before resuming flight being sudden and forceful (Unrevokable Drama). This increases the Batter's agility, allowing him to recover from his flinching fast enough to act again.

He leaps to his forward and right, touching down the ground there as a healing aura surrounds him, getting rid of some of his wounds (Save First Base)

Once the brothers have almost caught up with the others, they stop dead in their tracks when Dharkon subjects them to visions of their worst nightmares.

Thor's Nightmare

Thor can only stare in absolute horror as he witnesses the fire giant Surtur carving a path of death and destruction through Asgard, laughing his crowned head off as he swings his blazing Twilight Sword.

   "Behold, Ragnarok! Watch and despair, Odinson, as your beloved Asgard is reduced to cinders! All will suffer, all will BURN!"   

Grinning sadistically, the king of Muspelheim tosses two bloodied and broken bodies at Thor's feet: the first is the Allfather himself, Odin, his legendary spear Gungnir snapped in half and a look of utter despair on his face. The other is Loki, his skin blue and lifeless eyes red.

The god of thunder shakes his head, lets out a fierce battle cry, and charges forth to join the battle against Dharkon.

Loki's Nightmare

Loki, meanwhile, sees a vision of himself being hoisted into the air by his universe's Thanos as the slender figure of Ebony Maw looks on, smiling with satisfaction.

   "The Other warned you about the consequences of failing me, did he not, Asgardian? So I'll tell you now, what I'm about to do to you... I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much."   

With a cruel smirk on his face, the Mad Titan's grip around Vision!Loki's throat tightens, causing the illusory half-Jotun to sputter, gag, and cough up blood...

Thankfully, it's at this point that the real Loki manages to snap out of it, his expression an icy Death Glare as he wordlessly follows his brother into battle.

Once the Sons of Odin arrives at Dharkon's version of the iconic Final Destination, Thor decides to announce his presence by firing a massive blast of lightning towards the Lord of Darkness!

"Unlike that coward Galeem, you will not escape me, Dharkon!"

Loki, meanwhile, opts to keep the dark energy bullets off of him and Thor by firing blasts from his scepter at them.

"I'll see you in Hel, monster!"

Just like Galeem, Dharkon gives zero shits in response to taking damage, and attacks that reach his tentacles but not his eye don't seem to affect him at all.

Dharkon's tentacles swirl into his core, which vanishes and reappears lower to the ground but farther from the stage as the tentacles spring back out of it. He does this weird sort of teleport a second time, and this time he doesn't reappear right away.

From the void emerges the stinger-like tip of one of Dharkon's tentacles. The rest of the tentacle soon follows, slowly winding its way through the stage, coated in dark power that will cause immense and rapid damage to anyone who touches it. Attached to the opposite end of the tentacle, however, is Dharkon's eye, giving the fighters another chance to strike it as he passes through.

Pit flies up high to avoid the tentacle, raining down Arrows of Light on Dharkon's eye as he flies overhead.

Callis tries to blast through the tentacle with a Galick Beam Cannon, but her blast fails to touch it (see first line) and she gets dragged along its length by the rapid damage. She is launched from the 'rear' end of the tentacle, narrowly flying back onto the stage before she can hit the blast zones.

Iron Man shoot his shield like a platform, avoiding the tentacle and taking flight towards Dharkon's eye. Lucina and Samsara jump on it, and both attempt a slash at his eye, with Lucina putting every ounce of strength in her slash.

Baldur attempts to run past the tentacle but get hit and dragged away, though Stark grab him, fly up, and yeet him at the eye.

Phew !

Alpha and Omega do a U-turn in the air now that Dharkon has teleported closer to the stage, then halt again when he disappears.

They reunite with Epsilon when Dharkon's tentacle moves around the stage, and the three Add-Ons, upon noticing his eye, try to use simple ramming attacks to get to it.

The Batter jumps up over the tentacle when it gets close, then, when falling down, attempts to bat Dharkon right in the eye as it's passing under him.

Final Destination

Grimoire weiss, being a floaty boy, Would easily avoid the incoming tentacle, Laughing maniacly as he Replies to it with Five dark lances aimed at Dharkon's Eye. The energy would charge quickly, and any blood coming from dharkon would make a cloud into the air, before being absorbed by grimoire weiss.

Flynn would Take his chance to jump over the tentacle, being clipped on his way up. He'd Cast "Agidyne", a high level fire spell, at the eye on it as he goes over it. "This is what happens when you mess with mikado!"

Joker, in the meanwhile, grapples onto grimoire weiss, Firing his gun right into the eye.    "I've been waiting for my chance to take you on, Dharkon! My head's not on the chopping block today!"   

Madoka would Leap into the air, twirling, Drawing back her bowstring and firing an arrow, Hopefully hitting the eye on the tentacle. She'd be rotating so quickly that her skirt would stay proper.

Oca blips around, avoiding the attack and firing off the occasional ki blast. Nagato follows suit, but gets tagged and launched.

”Oh no.”

Oca quickly catches and deposits her back on the platform, though.

Enforcer, slowly waddles into position and tanks the hits. He takes a lot of damage, but doesn’t flinch as he aims for the eye and    ”FWOOOM”   .

Thor runs straight towards the oncoming tentacle, grips Mjolnir tightly as he takes a mighty leap over it, and upon landing, throws his hammer right at Dharkon's eye once it's in sight. Regardless of whether or not the legenadary weapon finds its mark, it returns to the god of thunder's hand afterwards.

"Stark, Lady Lucina, my apologies for not arriving sooner! I was unaware that our siege of the Dark Realm was to begin today, but now that I'm here, let's ensure that we don't experience a repeat of what happened with Galeem!"

"It's a pity that Rogers wasn't able to join us. Perhaps he will once it comes time to hunt down and finish that luminous bastard."

Leaping aside, Loki creates an illusory copy of himself for the tentacle to strike down before quickly moving into melee range, then stabbing and slashing at Dharkon's eye with both his bladed scepter and a dagger.

Dharkon doesn't bleed, despite what his visceral appearance would suggest. His tentacle continues on its course and into the abyss, his eye keeping a watchful stare on the fighters as it is dragged into the void along with and disappears.

A moment later, he executes the 'reappearing' part of his teleport move and emerges in the middle of the stage, back to 'normal'. His tentacles coil up before splaying out into a formation like a tree's branches, placing four black orbs with red X-shaped markings on them that float in the air.

Callis remembers the plus-shaped versions of these orbs Galeem had and promptly shoots one down with a ki blast, causing it to harmlessly disappear. "Those spheres are powerful energy bombs! Disable them by hitting them!"

Pit tries to shoot an X bomb, but his Arrow of Light fires like a beam at Dharkon instead, as if it has a mind of its own... and a particularly unintelligent one at that. "Oh, come on!"

The Batter orders his Add-Ons to go for the orbs, each one of the three going for one of the X-Orbs for a total of three attacks.

The Batter himself charges for Dharkon yet again, going for his eye, hit bat slightly glowing in his swing.

You call her a lady but you don't call me "Sir Stark", huh ? Heh, good to have you around. admits Stark. He launch a micro-missile barrage at one orb.

The two sheperds step away from the platform, which seems to be flying around the stage, and Samsara lay a hand on Lucina's shoulder.

Lucina, calm down, this is not an enemy that can be defeated with rage.

Lucina breath in, breath out... and her eyes widen, as she nods, now a bit calmer.

Right... my apologies. It is good to see you, sir Thor.

Baldur, the MADMAN, attempts to bodyslam into Dharkon.

Versus Dharkon

Madoka begins firing arrows at the X shaped "Bombs", Hoping to destroy them. Her soul gem isn't being corrupted, oddly enough. Rather, It's Erupte into a pink inferno like the tips of her bow and her arrows. She'd miss a few times, probably, but might end up with a dead on strike. "I won't Let This end the way you want it to! I've faced foes which would make you crumble! And I'm Only fourteen! If you can't handle a Teenage girl, Maybe you should just let us kill you without resistance and save us all some time!"

Flynn, in the meanwhile, would be taking his time, Charging, While looking at the X patterns. He'd speak up to lucina. "Oy, You see those patterns?"

Joker would be firing his gun at another bomb, with grimoire weiss Firing off beside him. The two seem to be syncing up rather well.

Enforcer just keeps over, wheezing.

Oca and Nagato pump out blasts, trying to destroy a few Bombs. Oca swears when he misses three shots in a row and Nagato has to pick up his slack.

"As if I would miss the opportunity to make this arsehole pay!"

Thor offers Stark a grin in response before unleashing a lightning blast at his armor in order to overclock both it and his weapons. Afterwards, he places a hand on Lucina's shoulder as well, smiling at her.

"Likewise, my friend. May Dharkon fall before our combined might!"

Loki, meanwhile, raises an eyebrow when Pit's Arrow of Light seemingly decides to go after Dharkon himself instead of the X-Bombs.

"Well... If anyone else possesses any disobedient weapons or abilities, now might be the perfect time to discipline them."

He then fires a beam from his scepter in a sweeping arc at a couple of said X-Bombs.

C'mon, guys, did you really need to focus that much fire on the X Bombs?

They're all taken out before they can detonate.

Dharkon stays where he is. Most of his tentacle-mass coils up into a ball behind him as he stretches four tentacles outward, then he swings them inward, slashing open reality itself and creating a line-shaped rift in space that cuts through the void diagonally. Anyone within the rift will be slowed down, not just spatially but temporally as well, causing them to perceive the rest of the world as moving faster.

Pit gets smacked into the sky by the initial slash, but he remains airborne, outside the rift, and fires a charge shot at Dharkon.

Callis dodges the slash, but that means she's caught in the rift. To those outside it, they see her slowly drawing her hands back for a ki attack, not seeming aware of her situation.

Omega and Epsilon, on their way back to the Batter, get caught in the rift and are slowed down.

Alpha is not, however, and returns to the Batter's side, who throws up a ball and bats it through Alpha, coating the ball in powerful holy energy as it goes straight for Dharkon (Special Homerun).

Baldur is caught in the rift and look amused as time slows down.

Lucina nods to both, and look at Flynn.

A cross ? Yes.

Samsara activates Demon Mode and raise her weapons, preparing to use Astra to try to dish out as much damage as she can to Dharkon. Iron Man, for his part, create arcs of some kind around him, and they light up, preparing to fire a repulsor ray.

Dharkonetta

Joker and weiss would panic, Running as far as they can from the rift. Weiss would be a safe distance away now but joker... Joker would be hit dead on by the slash's end, being knocked almost offstage, and flung back into the rift when he tries to recover. This isnt his day. Madoka And flynn would have no troubles fleeing, Waiting out the rift. Flynn would be busy buffing his attack after his physical charge, While Madoka would begin racking arrows on her bowstring.

Joker would not like being like this.    "Holy SHIT WHY IS EVERYTHING GOING SO FAST OH GOD"    He'd sound piss fucking drunk due to how slow he's talking.

Flynn would speak up. "Why don't we make a cross with our blades across Dharkon's eye once the bastard stops hiding behind a rift... I'm ready for a big attack now, Why dont we try to see if that works."

Enforcer is smacked into the air and away from the rift. He screams when he notices it.

   ”NO!”   

He fires a glob of Chaos Goop.

Oca dodges the slash but is caught in the rift. He slowly... bring out a machine gun.

Nagato continues covering Oca, slowly firing a laser from behind him with intent to hit Dharkon.

Thor raises Mjolnir in time to defend himself from Dharkon's slash, the impact driving him back and thankfully away from any of the rifts. Shaking his head, the prince of Asgard proceeds to fire another blast of lightning at Iron Man in order to give his armor and weapons that extra kick.

The initial slash knocks Loki right to the ground, eliciting a pained snarl from the half-Frost Giant. In retaliation, he conjures a few illusions of himself that charge headlong towards Dharkon from multiple angles before taking a moment to climb back to his feet, then hurling several daggers at the Lord of Darkness.
