Simon gets knocked away and just clings to the floor for safety as Ridley attacks.

The cube they're fighting on dips down, putting Ridley off-balance as it rises back up to position.

Okka is surprised when the ground fails to explode and nearly loses her already precarious balance, but gets her bearings surprisingly quickly and runs over to sock Ridley in the jaw with enough strength to potentially dislocate it.

NLA

Natalia smiles at Megan's excitement about the speed, and nods. "Well, we can always talk about solutions later. Now get out there and kick some ass!" she yells as Megan rushes away. She sighs for a moment, wondering how she will get back on her feet, literally in this case, when she hears Agent 8's request for a booyah.

Natalia chuckles a bit from hearing the request, and she inhales a bit, before shouting "BOOYAH!" as loud as she can, followed by a couple more quiet booyahs.

Spiralblock Peak: The Travelers Grow Once More...

Behind the Peak, a ginger in green and a brunette with an umbrella and a modified biker outfit came down and rested peacefully. A skeleton floats out of a portal and looks among them.

Ridley is in their sights, but they don't move.

"Ready?"

"Never been more!"

"Affirmative. After the fight, can we acquire some birds?"

"Of course."

They start towards the peak...

HINTS: You play a Metroid, I raise you a Mario, DBFZ, and Mystery Skulls...

Dres is caught off guard but Thor and Bokuko carry on with their respective attacks !

The Ruined Dragon's pins go flying off, and its crown pops off and sorta explodes as it reels back.

Revealing a large glowing crack in its forehead.

In Agent 8's hand, a ball of ink forms. Every time someone yells Booyah, it gets bigger and bigger, until it looks almost like a rather large Spirit Bomb. "That should be plenty. Eat this!" She throws it down at the newly-revealed weak point.

Reyna notices the Booyah Bomb coming and decides to grapple-hook away from possibly being caught in the imminent blast.

Ridley's jaw breaks and he falls on all fours. Again, however, his Healing Factor kicks in and his jaw self-repairs.

He gives a raspy, bestial cackle even as he's being pelted with further attacks.    "You can't kill me. I told those before you, and now I'll tell you! I have fallen to the depths of Hell again and again, and each time I rise back up, stronger than before! Only when the heavens are filled with gun smoke and the blood of the innocent will I ever yield to you!"   

With that, he holds out his arms as homing missiles fly out of his back, attempting to converge on all the current fighters (not including Def's characters). They will explode on contact with anything... including an attack or the floor, if one can misdirect them.

Simon throws an Axe at the missile flying at him to blow it up before it reaches him. "... I take back what I said. This monster is worse than Dracula!"

"FOOLISH BEAST, I WILL DRIVE YOU BACK INTO HEL AND WILL NEVER TIRE OF KEEPING YOU DOWN FOR ASGARD'S GLORY" SAYS THOR, AS HE ATTEMPTS TO DRIVE HIS MIGHTY MJOLNIR THROUGH THE FIREBALLS AND TOWARDS THE DRAGON'S GAPING MAW 8

Spiralblock Peak: The Doctor Is In

Purply-pinkish ghosts appear before a few of the missiles, exploding and dissipating on contact. 16, Daisy, and Lewis then land on the cube...

16 looked relatively the same, but his right eye seemed to be visibly calculating, almost like a scouter.

Lewis was also pretty much the same, but there is a slight pink aura around him.

Daisy, however, is wearing a modified version of her soccer outfit, with a ponytail, black hoodie cropped at the same place her top was, and a longer skirt. Her umbrella seemed a shade darker and looked kinda high-tech.

"We have arrived on the battlefield."

"Yeah, we know."

"Well, he's already got a hobby..."

A stray missile shot straight for Daisy, but she simply whacked it with a frying pan from seemingly out of nowhere, it exploding right in front of her and knocking her back a tad.

"Hey, we were exchanging witty banter!"

Vague Primordia

Qualna speaks up.

"This Grima...so he is responsible for these undead, and yet he himself is supposed to be dead as well?"

As he says undead, he gestures towards one of the partially disintegrated corpses on the ground.

Robin and Lucina speaks at the same time.

"He's gone fore-"

They stare at each other but Robin allows Lucina to speak out.

"A... sworn ally took his life to slay it forever." says Lucina, sorrowful. "He shouldn't be there... he shouldn't be anywhere."

"I also took my life to kill Grima for good and washed up here." says Robin. "I... perhaps your Robin is alive as well ?" she says, encouraging.

Strange nods slowly each time, pondering.

Still vague Primordia

"That's not telling me enough. This "Grima"...if he is responsible for these undead, then logic dictates he is alive, no?"

Qualna thinks for a second.

« Beings from all around the worlds are dropped here. Perhaps those Risen were transported there without Grima ? » says Strange.

« ... I hope so. » says Robin. « His wings alone are kingdom-sized and his power is equally towering. However they died off when he was vainquished so who knows ? »

« ... but I’ll face him again if I need. » says Lucina. « No world deserves to receive Grima’s wrath. »

Primordia

"We can't be sure for now. This Grima seems extremely powerful as well-if he is alive, we must find out as soon as possible, otherwise we could have a major problem."

Qualna ends his musing.

"Shall we head somewhere more suitable? The middle of a corpsefield is not exactly the best place to hold a conversation."

"We better get a full party beforehand though." says Robin. "Lucina can confirm that our victories on him depended on several key conditions after all."

"Indeed." says Lucina. "And worry not, for the Risen vanish upon death."

"Yes, but he has a point. We should probably start to move towards the main hub of this place. New Los Angeles." he declares. Robin frowns.

"Hmm, are you a native ?"

"No, I've been studying this world beforehand." says Strange, as he begins to levitate away. Lucina points when his cape is about to get ensnared on a tree branch but his cape proceed to snap the tree branch itself with a fierce attack, so she just hang in there, kind of stunned.

Qualna's eye tilts to form an upwards crescent, a representation of his happiness at moving away from a corpsefield. It reminds him too much of Moric.

Moric...how is he doing? Why is he so afraid of him these days?

No, not raw, primal fear-a worry for his safety, but too afraid to check.

Qualna opens an Astral Corridor in front of him, the space before the small group folding and twisting to reveal a strange teal-colored hallway before them.

"If I may, Doctor Strange...I believe I have a faster method of travel."

Strange seems pleased at being referred to as "doctor" but hide it well, raising an impressed eyebrow.

"Hm, impressive." he comments, getting closer. Robin briskly walks inside, with Lucina following closely. Lucina seems wary but Robin is impressively relaxed.

Astral Tunnel

Qualna steps in last.

The tunnel is...strange. It stretches out into darkness, the only light being a strange ambient teal color.

Speaking of teal, the entire tunnel is composed of what seems to be some kind of teal substance, with strange markings◊ covering the walls and floor. (Disregard the blue crystals and player avatar. They're not there in the roleplay.)

"This...is an Astral Tunnel!" Qualna announces. He steps past the group and starts walking.

"Trippy..." says Robin. "Almost dizzying I must say." continues the pink-haired strategist, mimicking an head-ache. Lucina is less affected, though she still seems fascinated.

Steven really isn't though, he's still walking amongst the others, having given up on floating.

"It'll still take a bit to get to our destination, but at least we won't need to walk the whole way anymore." Qualna says.

"And yes, you should feel a bit nauseated. You've just moved past the physical plane of existence, so it's normal to feel a bit...off."

"Well technically, I shouldn't exist." says Robin. "So... take it as you will."

"I traveled through time before." says Lucina. "Perhaps I have developed a resistance to such travels as a result ?" she theorizes. "Though this is a different realm."

"I am used to dimensional travel." says Strange, shrugging. "My... work requires me to walk the thin frontier between the worlds."

"You all seem very interesting." Qualna's eye shows he's "smiling" again.

Up ahead, some kind of glowing fish appears. A small swarm of them, maybe six or seven, "swim" down the tunnel towards the group.

"I should have expected these."

"This place gathers the best fighters of their respective worlds." says Strange. "It is filled to the brim with people of interest."

Robin seems a little smug but that might be an act, Lucina smiles and nods briefly.

"Thank you, I hope to live up to your... hum;" she says, focusing instantly on the oncoming enemies. Robin and Strange remains composed, not attacking yet.

"Enemies ?" he asks.

"Not usually. They're only dangerous to more inexperienced astral travelers."

Qualna watches the fish as they dive through the wall of the tunnel, the teal substance briefly rippling like water as the fish pass through.

He continues to walk forwards, motioning the rest of the group to follow him.

"Thankfully, it seems that they avoided you;" says Robin, watching the fishes float by, slightly surprised. Lucina is a bit more careful now, just in case the next enemies are bolder.

Strange is unfazed though, and walk forward.

Qualna stops. The tunnel has come to an end-a wall awaits the group.

He raises his hands, and a small portion of the wall fades to reveal the East Gate of New Los Angeles.

Qualna steps through.
