"Hmph. Coward." GE!Dark Meta Knight turns his attention to the hole in the floor.

Meta Knight grunts as Hisoka attacks out of nowhere, jumping away from him. "Of the two bearing the same color and sword, the one with a large crack in his mask is good! The one with a large scar is evil! I'm uncertain about the rest, but we can assume this sudden attacker is also evil!"

An elevator platform rises up out of the hole in the floor, carrying the Striking Venom on it.

MAXIMUM FIREPOWER

GE!DMK immediately zooms up to the head and slips into the pilot seat, pressing the button to lock down the Striking Venom's mobility and raise its firepower. Then he jumps to the turret seat and starts firing Destructo Disk-like energy rings at Hisoka. Hit or miss, each shot will fly through and slice a hole in the deck where it lands.

Goku begins to dodge and deflect the blasts, keeping up with them just fine. He's just a bit confused when he spots the two Hubs but at this point, he's used to such oddities. Instead, he slowly begins to deflect the blasts right back at the Hubs, confident that it'd be difficult to notice the reversed blasts amongst the rains of attacks.

"Geez ! You're really tryin' to confuse me with all those blasts !' he says, sometimes dodging or punching blasts to pieces, though he slowly tries to deflect more and more blasts back at them. He sneakily adds some of his own for more confusion.

Napari barely dodges the slash, stumble/hopping back before catching himself in the air. He starts charging magical energy.

"I recognihze him—" he points at Goku, "ahs a hero, soh lohng ahs it ishn't a dohppelgähnger."

He fires a few small blasts of magical energy back at Hisoka before preemptively juking a meter or so upwards.

Upon noticing that General Logi was attacking Zola herself, Anthony prepares to raise an objection, but holds his tongue once the general assures him it was simply for a distraction.

Shifting his gaze back to Killer Bat, he... places a hand on the ground. Afterwards, several tendrils pop up from the ground in front of Killer Bat in an attempt to skewer him.

"Appreciate the offer, but I can fly there myself."

Taking on his Chaos Form, Pietro spreads said form's wings before flying after Miles and co.

"Yeah... Unless you're an older version of Eleven from that show Stranger Things, this is honestly the first time I've ever heard of you," Nicole replies.

"Why do I get the strange feeling there's way more to this gal than she's letting on...?"

"What's Stranger Things ?" she asks, still holding her hand up.

Killer Bat, seeing the tendrils coming just in time, actually pulls Odin forward, making him the one getting skewered instead.

   "Aagh!"   , General Logi cries out due to the sudden pain, upon which Zola grins and stabs him in the stomach with her own sword, then pushes him back.

While not dead, General Logi isn't in a state to fight, and as such Odin vanishes before he can be damaged anymore. This leaves Chimera solely against Killer Bat, and he gets easily picked up and thrown against Isabel, Schneider's Shadow, making Schneider fall on the ground from the sudden impact, though Delphinium stands her ground.

   "Hey! No freaking friendly fire!"   , she yells at Anthony, too angered about the stressful situation to care that it was an accident.

"No friendly fire! Friendly fire!", Deathroy repeats on her shoulder, as Chimera tries to get up.

Killer Bat then focuses on Anthony, and lunges at him, trying to grab him in one hand. If he succeeds, he'll start crushing him.

Hisoka darkly laughs, amused.

   "I don't deal with good and evil. Just with what interests me. And I heard you're a skilled warrior...~"   

He tries to attack again, but then notices the Striking Venom appearing and firing at him. He quickly conjures up a Nen aura, but looks shocked when the blasts still somewhat cut through parts of his skin and flesh, which makes him grin in a creepy and excited manner.

   "Ooh~... such power..."   

Napari's attacks are blocked by the aura though, and Hisoka now focuses on him for a moment, throwing a card at him in an attempt to cut through him while he's airborne and thus will have a harder time dodging.

Meanwhile, green lightning surges from out of nowhere, headed for Meta Knight.

Also meanwhile, three mirrors appear around the Striking Venom, and from each emerges a Dark Meta Knight, two of which attempt to forcefully grab and drag GE!DMK out of the machine, while the other then attempts to stab him through the head.

When one of the deflected blasts hits Hub, he realizes what Goku's doing and stops circling him. So does the other, and they both dodge the remaining attacks, which eventually are just Goku's blasts, who look different enough from Hub's for them to know which ones are which.

   "Oh, no, y'see, our task here is just to keep unwanted guests away."   

   "While the boss heads up there with the rest of the group."   , the other Hub says.

   "So forgive us, but we're gonna have to keep you here, no matter what."   , a sudden third Hub says, who's flying right above Goku.

They then notice the blasts from the Striking Venom cutting through the Halberd, one of the Hubs even having to dodge a blast to prevent himself from being bisected. One of them grins.

   "The boss'll find that interesting."   

After that, they turn back to Goku.

   "So... according to Cyber, you're very powerful. How about we give you a bit of a bigger challenge?"   

They then wait, as if actually giving Goku the choice of getting a bigger challenge.

Goku looks up for a moment and frown.

"A bigger challenge, huh ? Is it... wait." he says, smashing his fist against his palm hard enough to trigger a shockwave. "is it that guy I fought a long time ago ? Whoah, he got better if he's your boss ! But anyway, yes, I'd like a bigger challenge !"

"That wasn't friendly fire, Killer Bat used Logi's Shadow as a damn meat shield against my tendrils!"

Cue Killer Bat grabbing hold of Anthony, much to his noticeable chagrin. Not exactly in the mood to be crushed to death, he creates shadowy blades on both of his arms and begins stabbing away at Killer Bat's hand in an attempt to free himself.

Once he's reached the Halberd, Pietro takes a moment to assess the situation.

   "Well... this all seems horrible..."   

"It's a TV show. Anyway, would... you happen to be a Sister?"

"Yeah, I have a big family, want me to enumerate ?" she says, grabing paper of some kind and readying her pen.

GE!DMK notices the mirrors on all sides and creates a Dark Mirror copy to take the attack while the real one leaps off the Striking Venom.

Meta Knight gets zapped and goes stumbling back. He brandishes Galaxia and sends a Sky Knight Strike in the direction of the attacker.

Napari tries to move out of the way, but the card slices through his arm.

"Oh."

He retreats, and casts "Fesselshild!", a gangrene-green barrier of thorns and brush materializing in a hemisphere in front of him.

The tendrils, while they don't make Killer Bat let go of Anthony, they do bother him enough to be unable to crush him. He growls, and then...

   "Your resistance is futile, Anthony."   

Killer Bat is talking! Softly, but talking. That may cause Anthony some surprise. Killer Bat grins at him.

   "I know what you're trying to do, but it won't work. Zola has been mine from the day I removed the inner light from her soul. She's been linked with me, and now shares my desires. You cannot save her."   

He chuckles.

   "But why even would you, fellow being of darkness? We should be working together to return this world to its natural state, and destroy all life that inhabits it. The Darkness has already reached the ocean, and it's just a matter of time before it reaches Oblivia. And all who touch it will perish."   

He's distracted when Alubujem charges forward, but he strikes it with a electric blast from his sword, which is powerful enough to knock Andropov out completely, now only Delphinium still in fighting condition.

Killer Bat then looks back at Anthony.

   "Me and Zola are synced, nothing can change that. Just be still, join us, let me remove your light. Be like Zola..."   

The mirror clones vanish, and the real Dark Meta Knight strikes out at GE!DMK with Meteor Edge, summoning a giant sword from a mirror below his counterpart, which tries to stab him.

Hisoka, seeing that Napari isn't attacking, uses the opportunity to leap in front of Meta Knight's attack, using his Nen aura to counter it, though doesn't retaliate this turn.

Mr L◊ shows himself to have been the attacker, and he leaps towards Meta Knight, attempting to deliver a powerful kick to his face.

Now with the Striking Venom left unattended, a Hub sneaks up to it from behind to analyze it, and ponders.

Should he, or shouldn't he...?

... eh, he'll do it.

He holds out his hand to the machine's side, touching it and sending electric sparks from his fingers, just like when he saved a copy of himself in telephones.

Unlike then though, this time Hub vanishes in doing so.

   "If you're talking about Cyber, I have to disappoint you. I'm talking about our boss in particular."   , Hub says.

   "The lot of us are data clones, y'see."   , another Hub says.    "The main 'us', our boss, is up there, hiding and waiting. Maybe Cyber is up there too though, who knows?"   

   "But since you're so eager for a challenge, we'll provide you one."   , the third one says.

After they've said that, a horde of Hubs suddenly emerges down below on the ground, at least 30 of him, all flying up towards Goku, arm cannons trained on him, then opening fire.

Assassin Battle: Hub Army

The winged creature burst through a set of clouds and spotted the flying airship in the distance, "There's the Halberd!!" Nebula announced, but any excitement she felt quickly died when she saw that all hell had broken loose. "...Did we...miss something?"

"Seems like it..." Miles managed to comment, "We'll have to split up and take on multiple opponents. You guys ready?" His spider lady and knight friend both nodded, "On 3...1...2...3!!!"

Nebula and the Knight each leaped off of Miles back as the latter descended down towards where Goku was facing the Dark Megaman, and Nebula headed down towards where Hisoka was while calling down a blast of lightning.

Miles was last to descend and as he did so, he built up a green static charge and let it loose at Assassin DMK as he shrunk down to a smaller form.

Goku lets out a "whoah" and is covered in pellets, covering him in smoke as a result... at least until he emerges, revealing that part of his upper gi is blown off and revealing the blue undershirt below. He uncross his arms, revealing some burns over his body.

"Come on, you could be taking turns !" he says. Before raising his energy, briefly bulking up before tossing a lot of energy pellets at all the Hubs.

GE!DMK gets slammed down by the attack.

He briefly pauses to hail the arriving backup, then uses Dark Mirror - Ring to surround himself in a number of mirror clones, which all spin-slash their way towards Assassin!DMK.

Meta Knight blocks Mr. L with his sword. He uses an Ultra-type Mach Tornado, stabbing his sword into the Halberd deck as a giant cylindrical whirlwind rushes towards Mr. L and Hisoka.

Assuming Hub was attempting to take over the Striking Venom, we can say he succeeded.

"Fessel Spike!"

He whips his left arm, and the biobarrier breaks apart into a barrage of thorns and spines, which launch themselves at Mr. L and Hisoka.

The leftover plant material plops to the floor below him.

After getting over the surprise of Killer Bat actually speaking, something dawns on Anthony. There was an instance where Zola and Killer Bat had been out of sync: it was back when they'd first met and Dio had stopped time. Zola had been frozen like he was, but the shadow could move about as he pleased.

And while Anthony couldn't stop time, he did have something else in mind. It was risky, but he figured it was worth a shot.

"First off, I'd prefer not to become the monster people in my world have accused me of being. Now if it's darkness that you want so badly..."

He takes careful aim at Killer Bat, then unleashes a truly massive burst of dark energy towards him.

"Then have your goddamn fill!"

Pietro simply whips up a Chaos Minigun, then begins firing on the army of Hubs with it.

"No need, I know all about the Sisters. Anyway, I just remembered that I had something to do. Peace out, Eleven."

With that, Nicole proceeds to take her leave.

Killer Bat looks shocked by the attack, and quickly uses his powers over darkness to absorb the attack, unaware that that's what Anthony was aiming for.

Gasping at the sudden difference in his power, he lets go of Anthony and holds his head. Zola starts to wobble on her feet, and General Logi, his strategic mind letting him realize what Anthony is trying to do, even with him being wounded, makes him point at Zola's actual shadow. Delphinium, seeing this, orders Chimera to blast at it with a purple wave it shoots from its mouth.

In that very moment, and it being possible in only that moment, the attack damages the link between Zola and Killer Bat, the former immediately letting herself fall down on the ground as their link fades. Killer Bat shrieks as, despite his newfound power, he is now unstable in his connection to the physical world, and open to attack.

However, now no longer tied to the Darkness, it starts to harm Zola on touch, and in just a few seconds time, it'll kill her outright.

... That is, unless Anthony gives her the badge that Delphinium suddenly throws at him.

   "We had a spare, so give it to her before it's too late!"   , she calls out. Her move, while probably shocking to see, should not make Anthony hesitate, or else Zola's done for. And with Andropov present, even if out cold, she'd never return...

Dark Meta Knight unleashes a flurry of slashes at the clones in an attempt to parry them. Because of these efforts though, he can't defend himself against Miles' attack...

However, a green energy shield, courtesy of Mara◊, blocks the static, and she then attempts to squash the now smaller Miles beneath her foot.

Hisoka, still with his aura up, manages to tank Nebula's lightning and the thorns, but those, with the whirlwind added to it, make him lose his footing and almost get blown off the Halberd.

He's, however, caught by Cyber◊, who'd been stealthily flying around the battleship and waiting for a chance to strike, and puts Hisoka back on the deck, not attacking yet.

For Cyber himself to be present must mean that the Assassins mean business here.

Mr L, meanwhile, is doing surprisingly well for himself, using lightning to destroy the thorns... well, most of them, some still hit him on his arm and make him yelp comically, but still. And then, using his Super Jump, he jumps over the whirlwind, and calls down lightning upon Meta Knight from the skies.

Then, suddenly, the Striking Venom starts to move on its own, there being nobody in the cockpit, aiming its guns at the two opponent Meta Knights, and opens fire upon them.

   "Where we come from, we don't fight in turns."   , one Hub laughs before about half of them change their cannons to swords, then they all activate a Shield Chip, creating domes of energy around themselves to block Goku's attacks.

Then, however, they merge the domes into one huge one, and throw it at Goku. If he gets hit by it, he'll get pulled and trapped inside, upon which it'll start shrinking.

Regardless of what happens, they then notice the Knight and Pietro coming for them, and the ones with arm cannons start shooting at him in an attempt to make him fall and crash onto the ground below.

The ones with swords head up towards him, and while some of the clones are shot down by his Chaos Minigun, the ones that get through attempt to skewer him.

Now freed from Killer Bat's grasp albeit exhausted from the amount of energy his attack had drained from him, Anthony quickly snags the badge with a tendril, moves to Zola's side, and crouches beside her while placing it in the palm of her hand.

"Heh... I can't believe that actually worked..."

Pietro darts aside to narrowly avoid becoming a Human Pincushion, then retaliates by hurling several Chaos Spears at the Hubs.

As the badge activates, the Darkness is driven away from Zola, leaving her with some serious wounds, but still alive. It seems she's in a daze for now, still conscious but also confused.

Now that she's safe from harm, Anthony should probably get back to fighting Killer Bat, who's now easily knocking Chimera around. Chimera, who was an obstacle Zola, Anthony and Jam couldn't overcome on their own, is nothing against the powered-up Killer Bat. However, unlike then, the current threat's existence is an unstable one. Maybe they won't need to overpower him in order to drive him back.

And also unlike then, Anthony also has the Darkness to draw power from.

Anthony breathes a sigh of relief.

"I'll be right back, Zola. I just need to finish this..."

He rises back to his feet, approaches Killer Bat as tendrils slither out from both of his jacket sleeves, and begins swinging them at Killer Bat like whips in an attempt to batter the Shadow, drawing power from the Darkness to enhance his strikes.

Eleven shrugs and leave.

Zola glances at Anthony for a moment, then slowly tries to get up.

Thanks to the boost in power Anthony gets from being in the Darkness, Killer Bat actually meets his match, staggering back and grunting in pain and shock. Delphinium, seeing this, unsummons Chimera to allow herself a moment of rest.

   "That guy's the only one out of us who can challenge Killer Bat right now anyway..."   , she admits, as much as she hates to do so.

Killer Bat isn't completely defenseless though, as he raises his sword and charges up electricity in his sword, firing the blast at Anthony full power. This attack, if it hits, will cause major damage.

But if he dodges, there's a chance Zola or the others might get hit by it, and Killer Bat knows this.

Putting his newfound boost in power to good use, Anthony fires an enhanced burst of dark energy towards Killer Bat's electric blast in an attempt to hopefully punch through the attack in the ensuing struggle.
