Nicobba begins flying circles around Enoch, firing a barrage of ki blasts and Arcane Bolts at their colossal enemy as they do so.

Anderson pops his neck before looking over at Simon.

"The name's Anderson. Alexander Anderson."

He held out a hand to shake.

NLA: Permission? Forget That, Then!

Defense and Phoenix were on a roof, when Defense sensed Enoch's-

"Don't you do it!"

"What?"

"That is their business, and if you even want to try to get in, you have to ask permission!"

"Ah, whatever then! I don't need to respond to everything..."

"I think everyone's getting a tad too meta, let's calm-"

That's when they thought they saw X flying by them...

"GET BACK HERE!"

"We should wait for Anderson!"

Too late; Defense was already flying after the mirage...

The explosion of light catches the attention of all three Guardians. Dedan just looks confused, actually speechless for once. Japhet stares for a little bit, then breathes in once.

"... I am going to stop questioning the ways of this world."

Lastly, Enoch stares a little as well, then laughs.

   "What a caricature! But you're still just a puny pest, easily squashed by-"   

The onslaught of attacks from Nicobba, every single one hitting, actually has Enoch wincing visibly, making him growl.

   "OW! What-how are you hurting me this much!? You'll pay for this, you cold-water eel!"   

His eyes glow for a moment, and suddenly, what appears like flat, white multi-form silhouettes appear, three on the left and three on the right, tracking Nicobba's movements for a little while before they try to strike at them by ramming them. If they hit, they'll find that they hurt a lot.

However, with their newfound power, they shouldn't be downed this easily.

Regardless of the results, Dedan and Japhet snap out of it and use this moment of distraction to their advantage. Dedan jumps on Japhet's back, the large phoenix flying up into the air and then descending upon Enoch's head, with Dedan jumping off of Japhet to land on Enoch's shoulder and deliver a solid punch to the side of his head.

"Well met, then. I am Simon Belmont." Simon accepts the handshake.

Darius-X brandishes his axe. He leaps into the air and brings it down for a Noxian Guillotine. Due to the Zap modifier, he falls short and hits the ground, but lightning bolts strike the ground in front of him in a straight-forward advance at Enoch.

"Your kangaroo court ends here and now! On this day, let true justice at last be served! Burning Heart [Desires Bonfire]!" Konngara calls out as a flaming glyph, similar to the one she had placed on the robot, appears on the ground underneath the Chief Justice. This one, however, is much more massive, and erupts into a tremendous pillar of fire◊.

If there is anything still left of the CJ by the time this attack finishes, Tarboy fires his entire body at the robot's head in the form of a massive beam of high-pressure tar. He will reform wherever this attack ends up stopping, which could well be beyond the CJ's head if it manages to punch through the metal.

"It is a pleasure, Simon. I hate to run, but I have to meet some associates, so I must be on my way."

And with that, Anderson nodded at Simon before taking off towards NLA.

Negative Space: A Plan Of Action

With his old home being wrecked and the souls freed by Defense before current events, X sat alone in what remained, now dubbed Negative Space. It contained remnants of wholly destroyed universes; he currently sat in an old, decrepit Capsule Corp building from Trunks' future...

He sat, surrounded by what seemed to be clones of Tails, but they were of varying sizes.

And to top it off, they had a doll's dead, lifeless, beady eyes...

You see, time stood... well it didn't really stand, or move, or do anything; Time didn't exist in Negative Space, and if it did, it would be so ass-backwards it would most likely cave in on itself. There were multiple doorways, leading to various places: One of them being an alleyway in NLA. X quickly warped to that location, standing in front of it and smiling.

   "Hmm. It seems I need some sort of lure, something to rupture the status of this world. I think I'll send a few Dolls out, just to test the waters..."   

NLA: A Spooky Outing

The skeletons, going under the moniker of Bones Malone and the Spooky Bois, happened to be placed in that alleyway, when the door opened, spilling out 10 of the most basic enemy type: T-Doll Mk 1.

The mobsters readied their machine guns, and the one in the dress took out a pistol, holding it in one hand as (s)he held the trumpet in the other hand.

The dress skeleton, known as Barb, actually drew first, taking one out with a simple headshot when they were turned around. The T-Dolls turned to face the Spooky Bois, and Barb immediately started blowing the trumpet, allowing the Spooky Bois to move faster...

T-Dolls left: 9/10

Yes, this is open, and yes, this is part of the X plotline.

Jiren coat his fist in his red ki and attempts to punch at Saitama with tremendous power. If it succeed, a blast proceed to carry Saitama towards the horizon, allowing Jiren to turn around and fold his arms, closing his eyes and looking down quietly.

"It's over." he says, right before a massive explosion triggers behind him.

Bokuko surrounds herself in Nibi's Chakra Cloak, gathers an enhanced blue-fire Rasengan and slam it towards her downed enemy. Dres creates an armored Susanoo and charge a gigantic arrow with it, before shooting an extremely strong yet fast projectile at him.

"Heh... the only pest getting squashed today is the giant slug I'm looking at right now!"

Upon noticing the oncoming silhouettes coming at them from both sides, Nicobba quickly fires Arcane Beams from both hands at their assailants in a sweeping arc. Afterwards, they fly straight towards Enoch, coat their fists with Arcane Magic, and attempt to pulverize him with a swift barrage of punches before capping it off with an Arcane Blast fired from point-blank range.

Regardless of how successful the Potara Fusion's attacks were, they take a moment to activate Zap, then begin charging an electrified Galick Cannon.

Enoch, angered, grabs Dedan and throws him at Japhet, making the both of them fall back down. He then gets struck by Darius-X's lightning and groans in pain for just a moment.

After that, he holds out one hand in order to block Nicobba's punches, which he does successfully, though the Arcane Beam makes Enoch flinch for a moment.

He then raises his hands, about to attack, when he suddenly gasps fiercely, grabbing his chest with one hand while he looks like he's in terrible pain. Dedan, who's gotten up, looks at him.

"Is that fat lard having a heart attack!?"

"He's moving around too much for his body to bear.", Japhet says, getting up as well and unleashing solid music notes upon Enoch, having no mercy despite the giant's condition.

Though that may be for the best, because despite him having a freaking heart attack, Enoch is still attacking, targeting all enemies with bulls'eye-like silhouettes, which then attempt to explode right in their faces.

If they get hit, they'll lose some Competence, which is basically their special attack power.

Japhet manages to avoid the attack with graceful flight, but Dedan gets pelted and ends up half-buried in the ground. Judging from his shaking body, he is starting to get pissed off.

Simon salutes Anderson's departure as he heads off in another direction.

Saitama gets blown away.

A few seconds pass.

He suddenly returns to the scene in the blink of an eye, his face fully hardened to "Serious" mode.

"The power of that attack... I suppose I should answer in kind."

He plants his feet on the ground right in front of Jiren.

"Killer Move: Serious Series..."

Saitama draws his arm back, then drives his fist forward at the Pride Trooper.

"Serious Punch."

I don't think I need to describe the punch itself, since it'd just be me hyping up its strength.

Darius-X loses a portion of mana, preventing him from performing another one of his skills. He opts to just run at the hulking Enoch and swing his axe a lot.

NLA

Terlette runs onto the scene and is immediately super confused.

This is for Def.

Wasting no time, Nicobba takes careful aim before unleashing their charged Galick Cannon straight towards Enoch, the beam crackling green with electricity as opposed to its usual purple due to the Zap modifier.

Then one of the bullseye silhouettes quite literally blows up in their face, knocking them back.

"Argh! Jabba the Hutt here just doesn't know when to quit!"

The Potara Fusion flies down to where Dedan is currently half-buried in Oblivia's sands before moving to pull him out.

Jiren sticks his chest forward and briefly look baffled as the Serious Punch hits him, blowing him away with a power so devastating, it cleanly shear off the portion of the arena in front of Saitama, cutting through the entire arena and hitting the void itself, nearly cutting the thing in half (though thankfully, it didn't hit anyone)

Darius-X's axe swinging will result in a rather awkward scenario.

The axe gets stuck in Enoch's fat, and he'll have to try to pull it out, or leave it there.

Enoch then attempts to slap the Gallick Cannon out of the way, but it proves to be a little too powerful for that, and instead blows up in his face, making him stagger back into the canyon a bit. If Darius-X is still holding onto the axe, he best not let go now, unless he wants to fall all the way down into the canyon.

Dedan, meanwhile, is pulled out and, predictably, is raging, his face red with fury.

"I'm going to wring that fat lard's nonexistent neck!!!", he yells, then looks up at Nicobba.

"Nicole!", he says, not knowing they have a different name now. "Fly me high up and drop me on top of his head! I'll slide down and punch him in the eyes!"

Japhet, meanwhile, sings a harmful Alto for Enoch, making the giant flinch and temporarily muting him, which'll prevent him from using his Competence for a turn. That doesn't mean he's defenseless though, and he grabs Japhet's leg, starting to swing him around like a toy.

Now near the battlefield, though still not close enough to be immediately noticed, the Judge stops in his tracks as his fears are realized.

"They're fighting! We must turn back afore-"

Hugo then drops down onto the sand, attempting to crawl closer, but the Judge grabs him by the back of his clothes with his mouth, careful that he doesn't bite him.

"Stop! It's perilous to go out there!"

"Lemme go Pablo!"

"I cannot!"

"But I have to see the big mister!"

"Hugo, I cannot-"

Hugo suddenly has a hold of the ham he'd carried around with him the first time he was found in the Arena. Before the Judge can even contemplate where it came from, he gets cartoonishly hit on his head by it, falling on the ground, dazed enough to let go of Hugo, who now starts crawling closer, still not close enough to be seen, but starting to get too close for his own safety...

Saitama stands there still in his punching posture, panting heavily. Then he falls over on his back.

"Jiren the Grey... this was fun as hell. I'm satisfied, so I'm willing to call this fight a draw. My real name is Saitama. You're the first guy I've fought who didn't ultimately get blown to giblets with a single punch."

Darius-X yanks his axe out just in time to avoid tumbling away with Enoch.

Jiren appears, with the top half of his suit shredded. He looks bothered by it but then smiles.

« How remarkable of you to hold up to my full power ! You are walking in the realm of true strength ! »

"Actually, it's Nicobba in this form, but sure thing!"

Nicobba takes hold of Dedan, flies over to Enoch's position until they're hovering over their colossal foe, and moves to airdrop their royally pissed off ally right onto his head.

"Give 'em hell, Dedan!"

"Yeah, same for you." Saitama sits up. "You're like... I dunno... The Challenger of the Gods."

Jiren nods, thinking of the title perhaps.

"... I will accept that title, and congratulate the validity of your own title of the "One-Punch Man."

With Enoch being distracted with Japhet, Nicobba has free passage, and as such she successfully drops Dedan onto Enoch's head, and he immediately slides down. By the time Enoch notices him, Dedan has already delivered a powerful punch to his left eye, after which he holds onto Enoch's mouth, catapults himself back up, then punches his right eye as he passes it.

Enraged, and with his Competence returned, Enoch roars and claps his hands as a multitude of sphere-like silhouettes appear around all enemies, which try to home in on them, then batter then senseless should they manage to hit.

Dedan, fully vulnerable in the air, gets pelted by them and almost falls into the canyon, able to catch onto the side of the cliff with his hands just in time, slowly climbing up, coughing and hacking, as the damage is starting to pile up on him. Japhet, now free, has more success, using fiery feathers to counter the incoming spheres, then flapping his wings with tremendous force to deflect them elsewhere.

Regardless of if the others get hit or not, Hugo, who's now close enough to be officially on the battlefield, jumps from the sudden roar he hears, putting his hands on his ears and ducking in the sand a bit, scared of the overwhelming sound. Because of this, he doesn't notice that one of the deflected spheres is headed his way until it's too late for him to do anything about it but let out a scared yelp.

A yelp that, despite the noise from the battle, still catches the Guardians' attention, all three of them looking shocked and horrified when they realize that Hugo is about to get hurt, and nobody can get to him in time to stop it. Yes, even Enoch has that expression.

A harsh, powerful hit from the projectile strikes him right against the head, making him fall backwards in the sand as his mask shatters into pieces.

No, not Hugo. Zacharie, who'd just arrived and had taken the hit for him, and is now unconscious. Hugo, horrified, immediately tries to nudge and shake his arm, trying to wake him up, very afraid that he might be dead.

"Z-Zacharie?", he mutters.

The three Guardians continue to look horrified, and Dedan tries to go over to him, but the pain from his wounds floors him, barely able to sit on one knee right now, much less move.

"Thanks, buddy. My apprentice's hero name is Demon Cyborg, so I've always been pretty upset that the name they gave me was Caped Baldy. Jiren the God-Breaker and One-Punch Man Saitama... I kinda like it."

"Hey, you wanna go find something big and nasty to beat up? It's what I do when I'm bored."

Darius-X evades the spheres. He doesn't know what all is happening, but he does know that a child was in danger and a young man might've just sacrificed himself for him.

With that, he immediately runs over to Hugo and Zacharie.

"I do know a superheroic cyborg." he says. "He is not named a demon cyborg though, it would be... villain-sounding."

"Very well." says Jiren, with a slight smile

Darting about in the air to narrowly evade the oncoming spheres, Nicobba prepares to retaliate when they notice Hugo's unexpected arrival. Before they can say anything or move to deflect the sphere heading his way, Zacharie arrives to take the blow instead.

"Oh, crap!"

Once they've touched down, they proceed to remove the Potara earrings, causing the Fusion to separate into Nicole and Cabba. After the former reverts back to normal, she sprints over to the unconscious merchant and crouches next to him before checking his pulse.

"Crap, crap, crap..."

"Zach's down, Dedan looks ready for a trip to the hospital, and Hugo's, well, here... Oh, things just went pear-shaped in the worse possible way..."

Hugo looks panicky, and frightened when Darius-X approaches, since he doesn't know him. As far as he knows, he could've been the one who hurt Zacharie.

He calms down slightly when he sees Nicole, but he still looks like he could start crying at any moment.

"Nicole, Zacharie's hurt!", he says, distraught.

Japhet, quickly picking up Dedan, makes his way over to Hugo and Zacharie as well.

Nicole will find that Zacharie's pulse is fine. So if the blow to his head wasn't too hard, a light concussion is probably the worst he can get out of it.

Speaking of his head... this is the first time she'll be able to see him without his mask on, and if she looks at his face, she might be surprised by what she sees.

He has a ''very'' light skin color, and dark spots on the edges of his mouth, like Sucre has. There are several scars on his face, one of which being a nasty, yet old burnwound that's on the top right of his head, just beneath his hair.◊

There's no time to take in his appearance though, or question why he and Hugo are here, as Enoch, who'd at least has the courtesy not to try to attack any of them right now, speaks up.

   "Hugo, there you are. I've been looking for you. I'm sorry for what just happened."   , he says, sadly smiling at the boy, who looks up at him, looking unsure. Regardless of his current thoughts about Enoch, the current situation has left him confused and scared.

   "Don't worry, it's me. The big mister. Come with me, I'll take you to your mommy."   

Hugo perks up just a little, but he still looks unsure, glancing at Zacharie.

"You hurt Zacharie..."

   "I didn't mean to, honest."   , he says, putting his hand on his chest.    "It was an accident. I'm sure these fine people can help him, so in the meantime I can bring you to your mommy. Would you like that?"   

Hugo glances down, not answering yet, and hugging his ham.

"..."

"Alright, I'll look in one area and you -"

Saitama is interrupted when Anilaza just kind of appears there, descending from the sky above.

"... Oh, one came to us. How generous." Saitama rises to his feet and readies himself for action.

Now defused and de-powered, Cabba turns to face Enoch. "You... why... you... none of this would've happened if you just...!"

He goes Super Saiyan again, but sparks of blue electricity start to pop up in his aura. The sparks begin to intensify.

"It can't ever be easy with people like you, can it? You're given a chance to talk things out, and you keep squandering it with your false accusations and petty grudges until people get seriously hurt and friendships die because of you! No matter your intent, all you bring about is trauma and ill will! I won't tolerate it! No longer!"

Darius-X backs away.

Cabba suddenly powers up to Super Saiyan 2 and fires his strongest Galick Cannon yet right at Enoch's face.
