"Was... she gonna bring that thing back to Mount Olympus for dinner, or just slice it in half? It'd be a damn shame to let all that meat go to waste, after all."

"Oh, shit..." Nicole remarks, blinking in surprise at both Athena's words and the vanishing monster. "Yeah... mind filling me on in whatever the hell this corruption you're talking about is, Athena?"

Claus, still looking through his binoculars after Botar'd let him go outside yesterday, is looking around the area, as he'd just spotted Hub some distance away from him and Ninten, who is lying down against a rock behind him, playing a small ocarina to pass the time (though not too much at once since he has asthma), having been surprisingly untalkative, which Claus had noticed (since Ninten usually never shuts up around him), but hadn't commented on yet.
Ninten eventually stops playing to take a breather, but then also finally says something.
"Thor's gonna be pretty angry if he finds out you've skipped sleeping again despite promising you'd take it easy."
"I did take it easy, I just felt pretty energized so I figured I'd last longer.", Claus says.
Ninten just shrugs and goes back to playing on the ocarina, causing Claus to finally look away from his binoculars, but before he can say anything, he notices that Pilly is approaching the both of them.
"There you are, Claus!", Pilly says, now getting Ninten's attention too. "Pseudo got worried when you didn't return to the base at all last night. We thought Hub might've discovered and killed you!"
"But the security cameras should've shown you that I'm still here."
"They did, after we started looking through them just now. Did you really lie on this patch of grass for almost 24 hours?", she asks, sighing once, and then again when Claus can only answer with a sheepish shrug. She then looks at Ninten.
"Why didn't you tell him to come back inside?"
Ninten smiles sheepishly.
"Honestly, with everything that's on my mind, I didn't really think about it."
"Everything that's... oh, right. ... Well then, let's just go back inside before anything happens. The both of you are like sitting ducks out here."
She helps the both of them up.

Claus, his sensors picking up the Jamba Heart's energy, turns to look at it, causing Pilly and Ninten to do the same.
"What's wrong?"
"... I don't know, but something about that chunk of rock over there feels... odd. My sensors are reacting to it."
"That's weird, mine aren't."
She walks over to the chunk, looking down at it.
"Maybe we should take it back to the base and find out what it is."
"You're not gonna touch that thing, are you?", Claus asks. "We don't know what it is, it could be dangerous!"
"You're forgetting about my spider limbs.", Pilly says, smirking. "I'll grab it with them, and if something starts happening, I can cut the limbs off without causing damage to my body. Easy."
"I dunno, maybe Claus has a-"
Before Ninten can finish his sentence, Pilly extends the metal legs out of her back and attempts to take a hold of the Jamba Heart piece.

Some robotic whirring noises echo from her. Claus gestures for Ninten to stay back while he himself slowly and carefully approaches her.

Loki arrives near the edge of the field, and look at the piece of heart... or rather, he uses seithr to locate it while he keeps his eyes firmly closed.
"If I get this thing, my pranking's going to power up. Once I get into position, I'll snatch the thing up !"

Claus, noticing Viserys and Serana's arrival, motions for them to stay back as well, but then halts when Pilly turns around to look at them, staring without blinking. Eventually she speaks, but...
"Critical error encountered. Database corrupted. Begin cleansing process."
"Pilly, are you alright?", Claus asks, confused and wary, and not lowering his arm cannon just yet.
"Cleansing failed. Attempt to absorb data. ... Attempt failed. Attempt failed. Cleansing failed. Cleansing... Cleansing... Cleansing..."
Her eyes now gain a purple hue, and a dark aura starts surrounding her.
"Cleansing-cleansing-cleansing-cleansing-"
"Ninten? Go get Pseudo, quickly.", Claus says as he takes a step back. Suddenly, Pilly glares at Claus, her eyes not unlike what they were like in her once glitchy, unstable state, which Viserys should definitely still remember. Her spider legs now shuddering, the tips split into four to create small claws.
"Enemy detected! Begin cleansing process!"
She leaps forward, hitting Claus and pinning him to the ground.

Ignoring everyone else present, the blue Morpho Knight immediately lunges at Pilly and goes for a flying kick. "We must disable her somehow at once!"

A golden blast of force attempts to shove Pilly off of Claus.
"Awesome. The last thing I need is yet another huge-ass threat to worry about," Nicole replies, sighing in relief as she takes a seat on the ground.
"No... not this again..."
Figuring that the Jamba Heart fragment was responsible for Pilly's... condition, Viserys draws Dawnbreaker
and prepares to hurl it at the stone... only for it to be absorbed into Pilly before he can act.
"Oh, by the fucking Nine...!"
Serena, meanwhile, quickly moves to try grabbing Pilly by the waist and pulling her away from Claus. If successful, she'll attempt to tighten her grasp in order to keep her in place.
"Pilly, snap out of it! This is not like you!"

Pilly, her attacks frighteningly fast, manages to slash at Claus's chest once with one of her clawed legs before she gets hit by Sombra's blast, which, while not being strong enough to knock her off, does divert her attention to the group. Her eyes flashing blue for a moment, she quickly stops Serana from being able to grab her by creating a psychic shield to block her.
She does manage to get hurled off when GE!Morpho Knight's kick hits her, though she gets up instantly, her body twitching a few times.
"YOU-are attempting to damage-damage-damage-unit03-03. Commence defensive protocols."
She isn't responding to Serana at all, behaving like nothing but a weapon. Ninten quickly runs over to Claus when the latter gets up, cluthing his chest, which has a cut deep enough to draw blood.
"Let me heal t-"
"I'll be fine, go get Pseudo!"
"But-"
"I said I'll be fine! I have a body made for combat, so go get him!"
Ninten, silent, nods to Claus and warps away with his 4th-D Slip, planning to contact Botar in a place where Pilly can't attack and interrupt the call. Claus then looks at Viserys, Serana, GE!Morpho Knight, and the direction that blast had come from.
"Everyone, keep her busy until Pseudo gets here!", he says, drawing his sword and readying for combat.
Pilly, meanwhile, starts shooting small but harmful lasers at everyone.

GE!Morpho Knight deflects the lasers with his sword. "The Jamba Heart's influence has claimed her, reverting her to her absolute worst self! We must find some way to put her in an inactive state or there is no hope!"
He swings his sword down, launching a crescent blast of blue flame at Pilly.
