Bahamut then re-sheathed his blade, and completely disregarded his own safety by going in to attempt to suplex the fucking Tempered Deviljho.

If we're being honest, though, he's probably about to get turned into a chew toy.

"Troa ? Welp, hello there folks !"

She waves to the newcomers but then is surprised when Reyna get rammed and the Deviljho awake. Neuff grab her axe and use it to deflect the jaw, before attempting to punch the monster outright !

Neuff then leap in mid-air, transform the axe into an hammer and attempt to bring it down on the creature's head.

"Haha, wow, you're trying to supplex the thing ? Ballers !"

Nicole prepares to fire back a retort at Reyna, only for the Deviljho to interrupt the conversation.

"Shit!"

She rolls to left, narrowly avoiding the beast's jaws, and fires an Arcane Beam at it before raising an eyebrow at Bahamut's... questionable choice of attack.

"...Are you out of your friggin' mind, dude?!"

Vague Sylvalum

*Something proceeds to interrupt the beginning of the Deviljho fight in the form of a semi-distant puffing sound... followed by a lone RPG rocket racing through the air, on a collision course with the Deviljho. Something to note about this rocket is that it's going to be especially painful if it manages to directly strike a vulnerable part of the Deviljho's body, assuming there is somewhere on it more particularly vulnerable to blunt force... Oh, there's also the explosion that the rocket going off would make, but that's pretty much just an add-on.*

*From the source of the rocket, a lone person dressed in black-and-teal uniform can be seen, humming to herself while reloading an RPG...*

Neuff's strikes hit the Deviljho, but it seems not to notice or care about the damage... until the RPG hits it, making it stagger sideways a little. It roars again, somehow dodging the Arcane Beam by accident.

Assuming Bahamut is grabbing onto its leg, it tries to kick him off, then pick him up in its mouth like a chew toy and fling him at the person with the RPG.

Galileo flies back over to where Reyna landed.

"Deoxys, return!" Reyna says from the ground, holding up the Ultra Ball and recalling GSFFNw. "Sorry. I don't know why or how, but I get the feeling you won't do well against Tempered Deviljho."

Reyna uses Galileo to pull herself onto her feet, and suddenly her body bursts with electricity.    "My turn."   

She holds her hands back, and a wide line of blue light blankets the ground, reaching from behind her to the whole of the Tempered Deviljho.    "Get out of the way!"   

Reyna thrusts her hands forward, and an absolutely massive lightning bolt bursts forth across the length of that light, poised to hit the Tempered Deviljho... or anyone who happens to be in its path.

Neuff leap alongside the lightning and channel her own lightning into the hammer, it seems to power up as she does it, sparks flying everywhere as she attempts to bring it down on the beast, with both arms this time.

"PLANET CRUSHER, GO !" she yells.

"Now face me, beast!"

"Fine then! Kaiser Wave!"

"The things I do for this place..."

Akuma jumped up and went for a divekick right to the head.

Adel jumped back, firing Kaiser Wave (Medium-sized balls of energy) after Kaiser Wave at the Jho.

Rozwel set up little balls of energy around the Jho, running around it. After everyting was said and done, they started firing little playing cards, very sharp ones, seemingly made of energy at the Jho.

And there was someone else.

"DOOOOORA!"

Crazy Diamond went for a devastating uppercut to the Jho before returning back to its user, Josuke Higashikata.

Bahamut gets tossed like a discarded chew toy. Oddly, there is no damage to his armor, but he's clearly not doing to well, especially considering that he just got thrown by a Deviljho.

"MY APOLOGIEEEEEEESS," he yelled, as he flew at the RPG-launching person like some kind of man-shaped missile.

A few moments after landing, he said, "Ahh... I think I'm going to sit this one out after that. Ow."

"Planet Crusher, really? That name sounds kinda... sinister, don'tcha think, Neuffie?"

After shaking her head at Bahamut's Epic Fail, Nicole spreads her wings and flies towards the Deviljho, then unleashes an Arcane Blast.

*The RPG-wielding person thankfully has the sense to move to get out of the way, albeit just being too weighed down by the RPG and presumably other equipment to make the dodge in time. There's a loud THONK as she's promptly bowled over, dropping the RPG on the floor and lying there for a moment, before getting up and shaking herself off.*

"...Eh... Body armor's a bit damaged from that. Reactive armor trap didn't trigger... I should be fine, so should you. Don't stay close. RPG backblast prone to throwing people around. Or killing them."

*She pauses for a moment, then pulls out some kind of large and heavy pistol from her belt, firing off what looks like a shotgun-like spread of small bombs that arc through the air towards the Deviljho, then she turns to start reloading her RPG. Those smaller bombs... well, on a target that big, they're probably fucking useless, but the RPG round did bring a reaction even if it wasn't too effective, so maybe those will do... something.*

Tempered Deviljho is outright inflicted with electrical paralysis from the combined lightning attack, making it easier for the other attacks to hit but also making it unclear whether the explosive projectiles did anything to it.

Reyna's electric aura fades. She reaches for the sword on her back, but then she sees Josuke. Somehow, she can see the very faint image of his Stand, and that leaves her perplexed long enough that she forgets about using the sword and does something else.

She draws her arms back as blue energy gathers between her hands, and...

"Hadouken!" She throws a Hadouken at the Deviljho, in plain sight of Akuma.

"Ho wow, a newcomer get in, good work dude !"

She leap forward and try to smack Deviljho with her two legs.

"I don't know, it sounds badass."

"In all honesty, it sounds more like something an edgy supervillain would call his ultimate weapon and last I checked, you weren't some evil edgelord," Nicole replies to Neuff. "How about... Thunderclap? That sounds pretty badass, not to mention it actually goes with your whole lightning thing."

Nicole then attempts to land an uppercut on the Deviljho.

*There's a loud click as the newcomer gal loads another rocket into her RPG, finally, then moves to take aim at the Deviljho... right before frowning. She doesn't trust her aim, it seems. The lack of particularly obvious weakpoint is also a thing that annoys her, since she doesn't know where in particular to guide her shot... However, instead of actually rectifying the problem, she wastes her callout by talking to Nicole and Neuff from a distance that doesn't seem like a voice should really carry that far.*

"Both names sound decent. Combine the names. Thundercrusher. Part Thunderclap. Part Planet Crusher. Sounds like a weapon Selah would use. Melee specialist. Not a weapon I would use. Explosives specialist."

*Once she's done talking, she's decided... If the Deviljho remains where it is, she aims a shot at centre of mass and fires the RPG again, hoping to at least knock the beast a little silly with her shot. However, if it starts moving in a predictable manner, she just waits until the pattern is clear, then fires off a rocket at where she can calculate the Deviljho's neck to be, hoping her math is on point... and also that her target has a head-based vulnerability of some kind.*

"Akuma, she stole your dou!"

"Interesting. I will approach her after this battle."

"Alright Crazy D, let's pound some sense into this big lizard!"

Adel kept doing what he was doing before.

Rozwel dashed in, gaining two cards between his hands as he tried to slice at the Jho.

Akuma matched Reyna with a Gohadoken of his own.

Josuke sent out Crzay D to attempt a Stand Rush on the Jho's right side.

The Tempered Deviljho rears its head up despite the onslaught and blows its dragonbreath on the area around it, although it's unable to breathe anything on the explosives-user before the combined attacks end up staggering it again.

In other words, everyone but engie's character has to either dodge or block.

The Tempered Deviljho lets out one last roar, before suddenly leaping a huge distance away in one bound and storming off.

"Thundercrusher sounds- OOF."

She is caught in the attack and get up afterwards, her axe looks intact though. Neuff dust herself off and crack her neck.

"Piece of cake."

The Deviljho's dragonbreath blasts Nicole back to the ground with a pained grunt, though she quickly pulls herself back up. Seeing as the beast had opted to beat a hasty retreat, she looks at the RPG-wielding newcomer and gives her a thumbs-up.

"Y'know, that actually does sound like a damn good name. Thanks, lady!"

She flashes a grin at Neuff and claps her on the back.

"So... Thundercrusher, it is, then?"

Crazy D simply blocks the flames. Josuke calls Crazy D back, satisfied with his work.

Adel jumps back and brushes himself off.

Akuma jumps over the flames before landing and approaching Reyna.

Rozwel flips backwards, watching the Jho leave.

*The newcomer just stands and watches the Deviljho leave, yawning and making sure it's gone, then she pauses.*

"It fled. Must have had enough. No longer required here. Will return home."

*She silently reloads the RPG one more time, also pulling out that pistol thing and stuffing more tiny bombs into it, then holsters both. There's another pause. She glances around, turning back to face NLA. There's a pause, then she turns to Nicole.*

"Defos mentioned you. Name is Ashley. Expect more of us."

*After a momentary pause to let that sink in, she proceeds to turn and head off towards NLA. Back to the food store. Back to the portal generator. Back... home.*

Reyna recalls Galileo into the Cherish Ball and turns to face Akuma. "What is it?"

"You know that gal ?" asks a curious Neuff, before nodding.

"Yeah, seems good !"

Bahamut managed to pull himself off of the pollen-dusted ground. There was a great metallic creaking as he moved, almost like his armor did not want him to get up. Really, he was just having a moment of laziness, but that's beside the point.

"I have learned a valuable lesson this day — do not attempt to wrestle the gilded picklebeast. My apologies if I got in your way, once again, miss. Now, I must away to me look-out spot in the land called Primordia. Farewell, and may we meet again!"

He then started walk off towards Primordia — more specifically to Talon Rock, to keep an eye on things from above.

Nicole bids farewell to the departing Ashley and Bahamut, then looks back to Neuff

"I met a friend of her's before, a dude named Defos. He and his buddies are an... interesting bunch, to say the least."

She cracks a grin and tousles the Sister's hair.

"So, about Thundercrusher here, did Cinke want you to give it a test run or was it a reward for the whole defeating Troa thing?"

She giggle a bit at the hair tussle.

"Both. It fit well with my powers and she wanted to see if I could like... power it up with lightning. Sounds good."
