Yellow Kirby waves to the newcomer. "Hi there! We're climbing our way up this weird mountain. It seems like every one of those white cubes has a powerful foe on it. Wanna give us some backup?"

"Greetings." he says, raising his left hand. "I am Darius, the Hand of Noxus. Decline your identity."

"Hm... plenty of the denizens here have superior technological prowess."

Primordia - Spiralblock Peak, 1st White Cube

"My name's Mitch." He introduces himself. "Sure, I need more practice anyway. Do you know what we're facing?"

"No clue. We just destroyed a security robot from a corporation that once invaded my homeworld, but I don't know if they're all the same or different."

The now-trio, with the addition of this "Mitch," make their way up the next series of grey cubes. Nothing is currently present on the upcoming white cube.

"Hm.... the next enemy has yet to make himself know."

Primordia - Spiralblock Peak, 1st White Cube -> 2nd White Cube

Mitch rockets himself up to the next cube. He crouches down to one knee, and takes a moment to get a feel of what he's standing on.

A deafening screech rings out from the skies above as a purple-and-grey shape zooms overhead. It circles around the white cube and lands in front of Mitch, revealing a spindly draconic form covered in cybernetic enhancements.

Vs. Proteus Ridley (Phase 1)

Good thing this cube is a 15x15x15 meter (not feet) cube, much bigger than the last one.

Primordia, Spiralblock Peak

A nearby screech attracts the attention of Bakura, who'd ventured into the mountain searching for the Pharaoh's Phantom. His search having been a little too dull for his liking, he starts heading over towards the battlefield.

New Los Angeles

Cyber◊ is in a cafe, gathering a bunch of wine bottles into a large casket.

Primordia - Spiralblock Peak, 2nd White Cube

"Reminds me of me." Mike's voice transmits to the fighters, even though he's not actually present.

Still crouched and looking at the dragon, Mitch slams the surface of the cube with his palm. Small vibrations can be briefly felt travelling out from him, before he summons a row of metallic spikes under the dragon, extending away from here.

At the same time, four free-floating cybernetic hands fly out from his back, hovering in a row formation in front of him. They're currently charging up, not yet doing anything.

Darius nods to Yellow Kibry and leap for a direct blow with his axe !

"Careful ! I filled the wine with water !" says Cinke, emerging out of nowhere from a wall !

Thor◊ can be seen going for a walk through the sands of Northpointe Beach.

Kirby glares fiercely at Proteus Ridley. He has lost many a game of Smash to this lizard on Pyrosphere, and now it's a cyborg, too.

Ridley dodges the spikes with an Unnecessary Combat Roll and backhands them so hard they break, before setting his sights on Mitch. However, he is then blindsided, as Yellow Kirby uses ESP to grab the detached spikes and drive them through his hands, leaving him open to Darius' slash.

The slash hits Proteus Ridley across the chest, though Darius overestimated the depth of the dragon's belly, so it is a mere skin-deep cut.

Ridley screeches in rage and pulls his hands free, then spits one fireball at each of his current enemies plus the interloper (Bakura).

Bakura arrives on the battlescene.

"What in- a dragon?"

He's only barely able to step back in time to avoid the fireball.

"Agh, I don't have time for this. ... however, if this thing rampages, the caverns might collapse. I cannot allow that to happen while the Pharaoh's Phantom is still in here somewhere... I need it alive to get the Millenium Puzzle."

The Millenium Ring becomes visible as he activates his Duel Disk.

"I suppose I have no choice but to fight back."

He draws five cards, and puts two cards face-down in the Spell and Trap zone, then summons a monster in face-down Defense position.

The cards appear on the ground as glowing holograms, which may entice Ridley to consider them as targets.

Bakura: 8000 Lifepoints.

Cyber nearly drops the last bottle he was planning to take with him, then turns to Cinke.

"... I sincerely hope that's a joke.", he says.

Claus◊ suddenly lands behind him.

"Hey!", he greets him.

He is struck and sent reeling by the fireball, preventing him from counter-attacking !

"Haha ! I have fresh win around, but I have stored this water-wine to trick alcoholics !" she says. "It taste like wine but function like water, you see !"

She puts her foot on one barrel.

"That way, there will be no damage to the body ! GENIUS ! Of course, the addiction remains, but that's their problem."

Thor wheels around to face the newly-arrived Claus, then greets him with a smile.

"Ah, hello there, Claus!"

Primordia - Spiralblock Peak, 2nd White Cube

Mitch stands up and stretches his hands out at the incoming fireballs. The hands light up slightly, and in front of each of them a hexagonal-patterned wall shield appears, fusing into one bigger wall once all of them activate. They intercept the fireballs coming for everyone but Bakura, the impacts both visible and audible as a buzz. The shields then deactivate, allowing Kirby and Darius to get closer, and the hands each fire a medium-sized plasma shot at Ridley, more as a distraction than a genuine attack.

Plasma? Yellow Kirby gets an idea. He switches to PLASMA and charges up a large Plasma Barrier, then fires it at Proteus Ridley.

Ridley sweeps a claw and blows away all the plasma attacks. He goes right for Bakura's cards with a downward smack.

While the Spell/Trap Cards are unaffected, Bakura's monster is revealed to be the Wightprince◊, which, due to its low power, is instantly crushed. Yet, Bakura grins, grabs two cards out of his deck and sends them to the graveyard.

   That's three deaths already... hm... it's probably not enough just yet, but that thing will get suspicious if I just repeat my last move, so...   

He draws a card, then activates one of the face-down cards, Spirit Barrier, which coats Bakura in a dark glow. He then summons Card Trooper.

   "I activate it's effect. By discarding three cards from my deck, it's power rises for one turn."   

After discarding three cards, Card Trooper's power rises from 400 to 1900.

   "Now attack!"   

Card Trooper then fires two energy shots at Ridley.

"It has nothing to do with addition. My accomplice Mara simply desires to drink a few glasses of wine and I was the only one available to search for some.", Cyber says.

"I'm certain Mara would taste the difference. ... Anyhow, you speak rather casually towards me for someone I don't know."

Claus smiles back.

"I'm sorry we didn't get to talk much last time, but things got a little to weird for me.", he says.

"I didn't even get a chance to show you my new arm."

Darius nods to Mitch as a thank and dash forth, attempting to use a Crippling Strike on Ridly, before attempting to follow it up with two powerful axe swings !

"Rah !"

"Because I know you !" she laughs. "But anyhow ! I am Cinke Tripadora, genius extraordinaire !" she says, raising her hand for an handshake.

She looks a bit worried at the name of Mara. "Ha.... well, I'll provide you with the real wine." she says, lifting barrels and handing them over with one hand, demonstrating her strength.

"Consider your apology accepted, my friend. That was an admittedly odd situation, after all."

Thor chuckles as he walks over to Claus.

"A new arm, you say? Let's see it."

Kirby switches to HAMMER and intercepts the Card Trooper's second shot, powering up to Zap Hammer. He follows by running into Ridley and performing his spinning Hammer Swing.

Proteus Ridley takes the Card Trooper's first shot in the eye, momentarily blinding him as Darius' Crippling Strike and Kirby's Hammer Swing simultaneously hit his legs, tripping him up, and Darius deftly follows with an X-shaped gash on the side of the space pirate's torso.

Then the healing factor kicks in. Proteus Ridley gets up from those attacks like it was nothing, jumps back some distance, and exhales a spray of light energy blasts, aimed to hit everyone.

Primordia - Spiralblock Peak, 2nd White Cube

Three of the hands move in front of each of Mitch's allies, shielding them from the energy blasts again. The impacts use up their energy, and force them to retreat into Mitch's back and recharge. Mitch raises a metal wall to block most of the energy blasts, but not before one manages to get through and knock him down. "Ugh!"

"Healing factor? Then let's see how it reacts to this." Mitch sends out the remaining active hand to try to grab onto Ridley. If it is successful, it will begin attempting a Life Drain attack by draining biomass & energy around it, sending it back to Mitch. Being fellow cyborgs, it might be more potent.

Bakura notices the way Kirby uses one of his monster's attacks and looks a little intrigued.

   This could be useful...   

Due to this, he doesn't pay attention to Ridley's attack, and the Card Trooper is only saved by Mitch's intervention.

   "Ah, good, I didn't have to use up my Trap Card."   , he mutters.

He draws a card, then grins .

   "This'll do for now. I summon the Zombie Master."   

The Zombie Master appears on the field.

   "Then I will activate its effect. By discarding one monster..."   

He does just that.

   "I can revive a Zombie monster from my graveyard. And I choose my Wightprince!"   

The Wightprince returns to the field, in Attack Mode, despite its meager strength.

   "Lastly, I play these two Spell Cards, which'll allow me to revive the monster I just discarded and slightly power up all of my creatures."   

He plays Revival of the Dead◊, which lets him summon Diabound to the field, then plays Pyramid of Wonders◊ with the last card in his hand, which grants his monsters an additional 200 power.

   "Now all of them will attack!"   

The four monsters attack Ridley, Card Trooper once more with two blasts, the Zombie Master with a bolt of lightning, the Wightprince with bones, and Diabound with a dark blast.

Card Trooper: 600 ATK

Zombie Master: 200 ATK

Wightprince: 200 ATK

Diabound: 2000 ATK

"... I'm fairly certain we have never met before.", Cyber says as he glances down at her hand.

"... Cinke Tripadora, hm? That last name is familiar. You're one of those powerful Sisters."

He looks back up at her.

"No disrespect towards your person, but as you are a potential threat to my organization, it would be naive of me to shake your hand. You could rip my hand off."

He then takes the barrels. Not with his arms, but with wires that extend from his back.

"I suppose this will sate her. Though I'll have it tested for poison first. After all, a genius inventor might be capable of creating a poison content enough to harm her."

He rolls up his sleeve to show it to Thor.

"Pseudo made it for me, and attached it to my nerves only after I was unconscious so that I wouldn't be in pain anymore. It feels lighter than my last one, and a little stronger too. And thanks to Platinum, I hardly feel any pain in my arm anymore."

He smirks a little.

"I'm almost thankful that you destroyed the previous one."
