"Uh... Is this like a phone...?"

Carol and Masude begins to open doors and look inside the rooms.

"Wow you should chill girl"

*EN pauses for a few seconds, trying to pinpoint just whereabouts in particular that noise is coming from. She knows it's on the tenth floor, at the very least... so, to see whereabouts, she just decides to glide about outside the hotel and check as to where it sounds the loudest. That'd be the place where it's also closest too, right?*

"Hmm... Someone ain't answering their calls."

And, at the same time, as Zelerie kicks down doors and Carol and Masude check on each room, while EN looks on from behind, they should find the source.

...A weird white box, which seems to be ringing and vibrating. What.

"Oh hey a vibrating white box. My favourite."

"Is that true...?"

"Not really."

Carol goes to look at the box, maybe pick up and look if there's something inside?

"Just a box ? Bleh."

She approach and leans over.

"I should blast it."

*Beat.*

"...Is that what an early phone looked like? Kinda resembles the pictures a bit."

*EN doesn't want to be outside anymore. She wants to be inside, where the box is. Better investigation from there, see. If the window is open, or can open far enough to let her in without breaking it, she moves down to open that up so she can fly in. If it isn't quite possible, then she pretty much just plows her way through the window into the room, landing on the floor and turning her attention to the box.*

"So, why the ringing box thing?"

EN should be able to open the window fairly quickly, and then head inside the room... which, upon closer inspection, appears to have been modified, having particular green outlines, as well as red decorations. The air is also definitely quite cold, meaning that this had been someone's room for a while, and that whoever resided here left fairly recently.

The box itself is extremely simple, with a single button meant to be pressed.

Carol does what every logical being should do and smash the buttons dramatically

"SCIENCE!"

"You're smashing buttons."

"EXACTLY!"

*There's a long pause. EN seems oblivious to the cold, that or she doesn't care about it, although her eyes glance around and note the redecorated area. Then, her attention goes back to the box. There's a button on it, so she can't help but wonder...*

"...What's this do?"

*She proceeds to quickly move over and indicate to the button on the box. Given that it's already been pressed, she doesn't need to do it twice, so...*

And then there's someone suddenly just by the door, sounding a bit annoyed.

"Uhh, what are you weirdos doing in my room?"

"Your fucking box was being all noisy and making lights !"

Carol looks at the guy straight in the eyes. Then, in a monotone voice:

"You have two unread messages."

*There's a brief pause, then EN turns to take a look at the arrival in the doorway. Then, back at the box. Then at the guy in the doorway.*

"...So, pressing that button made a guy appear?"

*She glances at the box once more. It seems as though she genuinely does believe the box created him.*

Rhythmic taps reminiscent of a Waltz sound through the hallway outside.

"Oh, okay. That... still does not explain why you're invading my room."

The man looks weirded out, before looking at EN for a good while. He seems fairly average, and is carrying a few grocery bags.

"For one, that's basically a detector of sorts. And you pressed it, so I had to take the elevator and check why my phone sent me a notification all of a sudden."

He raises an eyebrow, before glancing at the sounds outside in the hallway.

"What the..."

"Don't interrupy my training again. I thought that something interesting was happening."

She try to sense his ki and hears the waltz sound, looking annoyed and raising her hand.

"...Does your button make tapdancing sounds appear? Either way, we're in it because your button here was emitting white light and we were curious."

"The weird lady broke the door!"

"Not me, the black haired one."

*Beat. EN glances at the guy.*

"Oh."

*There's another pause. She heads back to the window, taking a look off into the distance for a few seconds, then she turns to face him again while gesturing outside.*

"Okay, you know how there's a different town place a fair distance from here? Well, I was standing all the way down there, and looking up here, I could see a flashy light of some sort. You, uh... really gotta turn down the brightness on that thing. It'll attract curious people with nothing better to do."

Two people, a man with gray hair and a woman with wolf ears turn around the corner in a dance. They advance, spinning slowly, towards the others, stopping as they notice the box.

"Unnormal.", the man comments.

Sensing the man's ki would reveal that it's normal... except that there is something very demonic about it. Other than that, though, there's nothing notable.

"I didn't ask you to go to my room, you know!"

He sighs, looking at Carol and Masude, then at EN, nodding apologetically.

"Yeah, it just kind of acts up like that, sometimes. Just ignore it, I guess. I'll find a way to fix it up."

Beat.

"That, and you owe me the door."

The man then looks at the pair of clearly supernatural people, backing off a little and frowning.

"Hi?"

"I don't care about whatever a filthy demon like you can say."

*EN responds, in usual tone, with a shrug.*

"Better ya fix it sooner than later... there's more inquisitive people out there, yanno. Unless ya plan to put a poster up on the window to let people know so they ain't gotta go in and poke around, buuuut some people will ignore the poster anywho."

*Beat.*

"There someone back out there in the hallway? Can't quite see from here."

"Talk about waltzing in."

The man just gives Zelerie a weird look.

"Umm, what."

Then, he looks at EN, nodding and rubbing the back of his head a little.

"I will fix it up when I have the time and all... and, yep, there's definitely people there. Pretty weird-looking. Then again, all of you look weird."

...And then he facepalms at the pun.

"There is some demonic ki in you. You ain't just a dumb human."
