Onyx just orders a cheap $5 meal and sets down. Seeing Lapis return with all the biscuits, and laughs and takes a few biscuits and eats them saying," oh by the way I never got your name."

"Lapis, not much to note about me though, I just use rocks to kill things." Lapis kinda laughs at his own joke, "It's kinda funny actually, with all my traveling, the only famous people I've ever met were Deadpool and Bradley Nowell. That's the lead singer of Sublime." Lapis lied rather smoothly as he returned to eating the biscuits.

Being trusting of people Onyx doesn't pick up on the lie," Well nice to meet you Lapis, So tell me about Deadpool, how is it you came to meet him," Onyx says sounding a bit intrigued.

"He took me under his wing after I was kicked from my own home, taught me everything I know." Lapis seemed rather proud of himself when speaking of his master. "I haven't seen him in three years, but I know he's out there, keeping an eye on me. He's that kind of guy."

"That is pretty cool, I don't know anyone famous really," Onyx said.

Lapis sat there a moment, finishing his biscuits, "So you wanna grab desert then I don't know, catch a movie. We'll invite the others, introduce you to the team."

"I'm not really one for sweets," Onyx says," but I am up for a movie lets go get them," he says standing up and motioning for Lapis to lead the way.

Lapis grinned, "Good to know!" Lapis sent out a mass text to the rest of the team, starting with Echo and running to an end with Rachel (that should be alphabetical). The text would read as follows:

New guy at school. He's pretty chill, going to catch a movie. Everyone should come. Meet up in 30 minutes just outside the school.

Lapis motioned towards the school, "We have thirty minutes until we have to be there, anything you need to grab?"

"Other than my gun I have most everything that I need on me so not really." Onyx says.

" do you need anything?" he asks Lapis.

Zach lifted his head to see who was speaking to him before letting it drop back to his pillow. He waved the severed robot arm at Terry's general direction.

"Sure."

He took mental note of the message that came through on his computer from Lapis.

Owen sighed and looked over at Tony, "Very well, next time I will give you advance warning." His voice was flat, and without emotional inflection. "And I know of your wish to kill Lapis."

It did surprise Owen for a single moment that Tony wasn't boiling with rage at the loss of his little friend, but he supposed losses were usual to a gangster.

As for the "equals" thing...Owen simply nodded, and stated, "We need to keep our plans moving forward. One of my enemies has caught up, and is preparing to produce a counter to one of my plans ahead of time."

It looked like it was afternoon and for right now Echo wouldn't find anyone out there, though there was a strange energy signature out there.

Terry entered, looking around at Zach's room and then down at the arm his classmate was holding. He too had felt it was unsafe, but simply took that as a command to embrace what he was and become a better defender than...than Bob was.

"I'm sorry that everything's happened the way it has, and I really honestly don't want you to leave the school - I know I can fight, and fight harder than I have, and make this school safe..."

It was clear that even though he had fought against that biomachine out there, Terry was blaming himself for not being better still.

The glass slips from Jonathan's grip and hits the counter to splash milk everywhere as he grips his head in both hands. He lets out a cry of pain as the pressure continues to burrow into his eyes and he falls to the side. Jonathan writhes on the ground in more pain than he's ever imagined as he's hit full in the face with a memory that should not exist.

Echo's visor displayed his eyes squinting as he zoomed in on the energy signature. He was glad the techs did give him fancy robo vision, it was very fun to come up with snarky remarks about everyone ala the terminator.

"What are you out there..." he muttered.

Tony stood there, thinking a moment, "What do we need to do, we could probably send in some grunts, or another spam on the robot attacks, especially if you can get me in again, I think I could handle grabbing a few more students as hostages and/or recruits to the Four Lords." Tony stood there staring at Owen, hoping for some idea behind the character. This man was too flat and that bothered Tony, Tony could always read people. This Owen was an enigma, Owen seemed to have hatred for the school and yet was very bland and calm about his hatred. Just to see if he could grab some shred of surprise, Tony lit a small flame, kept it to his finger and kind of stood there.

Lapis stood there and sneezed, "Man, must be coming down with a cold." He looked around, "I wonder who all got the message, nobody showed up if they did."

"Cale's ego demands he keep his students safe from threats, even when some of the threats are recruited from his students. Now that he deployed some of his stronger weapons, we know how far he'll go..."

Owen's voice stayed emotionless and almost bored. When Tony summoned that flame, Owen simply subjected it to analysis. "...oh, you can do more things with your power than just summoning pretty flames."

Owen then continued, "Give this to someone more powerful than your average student. I guarantee it will have positive results during a battle." It seemed some sort of black glass container with a brightly glowing purple liquid inside levitated over to Tony.

Danelle seemed to look Jonathan over as other students stopped what they were doing outside and ran in to help him. Being what she was, she at first didn't even think of helping.

However shortly after the first two people ran in she ran over too and helped steady him. What is your deal...?

Echo would hear something as he tried to lock on to the energy signature, "Come back a little later in the night. I can't appear out in broad daylight with Owen's machines on the roam."

"Bah. It's not your fault. Chances are its something like this place got built on an Indian burial ground and that's why its not even the second day of school and all this stuff has already gone down."

Zach frowned for a moment as he pondered more on the safety of the school.

"You know, I'm not entirely too keen on leaving either, so, maybe..."

He sat up and pulled up the blueprints for the school on his arm computer's holographic display and started looking through it. Both to find where the robots were kept, and where their central control system was located.

"I'm not sure I trust the killbots that are supposed to defend this school, at least I don't trust the fact that they won't get hacked and turned against the students at some point. I found a virus in the training rooms control system earlier. That doesn't speak highly of this school's digital security. Also,"

He paused for a moment before checking to make sure the dorm room wasn't bugged via technology with a technopathic mental sweep. If he found any he'd shut them down for a bit.

"I'm not sure I really trust the dude in charge. He sent killbots out for a minor threat, but didn't for a more major threat. So, you any good at sneaking about?"

Echo heard that, and decided it would be best to take a stealthy approach.

He opted out and decided to see if he could trace the energy's frequency, he could with some. Not all.

"I guess not." he said looking around to see anyone at all.

Tony looked rather confused, but took the fluid for himself and began considering who to give it to. There were his direct underlings, each of which were quite strong in and of themselves, but there were also the grunts for which he could use to test this fluid. He would continue to think as he left, leaving Owen to his own. "This better not be another trick or experiment, or I'm coming for you next." With that, Tony departed.

Lapis shrugged, "Life, it's a bitch sometimes. Let's go, wonder what they've got playing tonight." Lapis continued to hide his past, and didn't really speak much on it, as it was his and not Onyx's. That was ok though, he enjoyed spending time with this person. Lapis could see it would be a good friendship.

"Oh, don't worry. This is no trick or experiment. As far as I've seen it increases the refinement and control of one's power and strength and toughness by ten times." Owen stated, in a rather clinical and detached way.

Lets see if this one can kill you, Bluefield.

Owen promptly returned to work, a light smirk showing on his face. A little more and the Verz Experiment would be complete. Then things would really get interesting out there in the greater laboratory...

Terry shrugged and was just about to say yes when he remembered what his powers were like, "I don't think my powers are very conducive to stealth or covert stuff, Zach, sorry."

He then looked outside for a moment, and supposed he heard something with his enhanced senses.

The blond teen then thought for a moment and said, "Y'know, maybe some time out would do you good. You seem really stressed."

Noticing that Lapis was purposely being vague Onyx decided to leave the subject of pasts alone. Once they got to the movie theater, Onyx sees the new minions movie and says," hey Lapis lets see this one." pointing at the minion poster.

All Jonathan wants is for it to stop. For these voices in his head, these strangers' voices, his voice, to stop saying things that never happened. The pain in his head grows worse as he curls up in a ball and brings his hands up to his face. Light from his eyes peeks out from between his fingertips as the pressure builds and builds and burns.

Lapis grinned, "Sounds fun." Inside the specific movie they had chosen, several dozen children had also come to see the movie. Along with their parents, in all, numbers if the crowd was between 90&120, and there were two almost empty rows, on one side of te all but empty row sat a young Latina boy around the age of 19, he was codnamed Gonzolez as he was a speedster. The other was Tony in disguise, though one could not tell by looks that he was hiding. In the other row sat two more people on the other side, one looked about 22 and was Caucasian, the other was black and appeared rather young.

"Bah. I can do it solo then."

He starts to get off his bed to begin his little excursion when Terry speak again mentioning stress.

"I want to counter with this is only the second day of school how could I possibly be too stressed already, but god damn, it's only the second day of school and so much crap has happened. Did you know? The first day here, well, night, I ended up getting a chunk of my intestinal track replaced by a rock because of a supervillian with teleportation powers? I mean yeah ok, I kind of volunteered for that little event, but still."

"So I guess we should set here," Onyx said motioning to the closest seat which was two rows above the empty rows.
