Woo we can begin imagining some chaos. Well one thing of course is where do we start? What is the SHIELD Academy like?

Alright, included a link in the first post.

Essentially, the Academy will be quite generously large, including a large gymnasium / danger room for self defence classes. It includes a weight room and a large nurse's office made for caring for any injured students.

The academic buildings are four ten story buildings with numerous class rooms therein, including classes such as Psychology of Supervillains, a "Superpower-Inclusive Ethics Class" taught by Emma Frost, and numerous others.

It even includes usual high school classes, though collegiate levels and beyond are offered.

It is overseen by a team with experience, in rotating schedules, some people working only in Spring, others in Winter and so on.

There's even a Mutant-Human relations class.

As for the plot, it'll kick off easy enough with a couple starter villains, The Lance and Silencia. They start off rather comical.

Ok then, a couple of villains early on are always interesting. The campus is absolutely huge looking at it, 4 ten story buildings. Though certainly it allows for all the various amenities we can dream up.

I assume like a dorm building is part of it for housing many of the students.

Who runs the Academy, are their any other names we should know? (I know making names can be a frustrating job.)

Is it actually IN San Jose or is it on the outskirts or shall we leave it vague?

Yeah, the dorms are a part of that.

I'll consult someone knowledgeable for who to put in charge in this season of school.

We'll start in the Spring Semester.

The campus is on the outskirts of San Jose, but has enough connections to make it into the main city in case something happens.

Essentially, the Lance and Silencia will learn just as much, in some ways, as the protagonists in the school will.

With such a large campus, Teleporation feels a lot nicer.

Also I suppose "woo spring break!" is not appropriate then. I would help with trying to put someone in charge but I do know enough lore to do that confidently.

Because the long range teleporter totally can't simply jump to the Beach and places where they sell booze to minors whenever she feels like. Totally not

I would argue Pym definitely still deserves to be there. Trauma is a reasonable option for counselor. Hellcat would be a good choice.

If we're being honest, most normal classes should probably be taught by normal teachers, rather than superheroes. I mean, Pym can obviously teach science classes, but beyond that, how many superheroes are qualified to teach anything? Tigra can punch bad guys pretty well, but what does she know about English literature? Sersi may have lived through ancient history, but that doesn't mean she'd be a good choice to teach others about the events. There's really very, very, very few superheroes who would be in any way capable of teaching anything beyond "here's how to punch a Doombot."

As far as instructors in superheroics goes, really, anyone would work. Grab a handful of characters who seldom get much use and throw them in.

Trauma will be the campus counselor.

Hellcat will also be involved.

I'll see what I can wrangle up. Given this will be an attempt at integrating mutants, expect to see some X-Men characters.

Dani Moonstar might be good for instructions in how to fight without powers. Also, Valkyrie might be fun as an occasional guest lecturer on either history or swordfighting. Daredevil's living on the West Coast right now, maybe he could do weekly lectures on civics or something. Jennifer Kale could be on-campus as a magic instructor.

Essentially, during the course of the RP, we'll first go through our first arc, then we'll do an event related to Children's Crusade, and then Fear Itself, building up to, well, what's currently going on in the Marvel Universe.

Maybe, maybe not, but it's not purely because of necromancy. At first, I thought of whether or not necromancy can be used by the good guys, and then another thoughts stacked upon it of whether or not necromancy will work in modern times. An experimentation, if you will, let's see what'll come, eh?

I must say when we spend time practising our abilities must be rather awkward for the teacher to set up. "So, I need about 12 dead bodies for her today."

"Donate a body to science", just became "Donate a body to a superpowered teenager." However I am sure SHIELD has its ways of facilitating this.

There are likely going to be a few awkward moments, I am sure most people feel a little uneasy about someone making a corpse walk. That is half the fun however, isn't it.

I suppose cloning would work but is less fun.

I do imagine training being like dodge ball and parkour for my short-range teleporting. Though it could also work for your force-shielding.

How you train long range teleporting? We may need a large outdoor space for that. Alternatively we send you to buy lunch from town.

Oh yeah, right, the cloning facility would be fairly useful for mass corpse production.

And Feli would probably 'help' Amy with the mundane grocery stuff by giving her a zombie to carry all the heavy stuff while the zombie is carrying a gopro camera so that Feli can see where they are going.

Which reminds me, if Amy is touching someone, do they get teleported as well?

"What responsibility" is likely a response you may get in return.

A interesting question; we are the protagonists however we are not going to be the only students in such a huge academy. Do we share some common classes? Do we live in the same dorm. Do we have any links at all inside school or will it just be by the fact we cant fight fate that we will be in some situation.

I can say Daniel can teleport other people he touches, even if they are not willing. Though he cant be selective, so if someone has him pinned teleporting will bring both of them.

Amy can take people with her as long as they are close to her. Basically as long as she's at the center she can expand the area of spatial relocation to a degree. She should be able to transport the PC Party pretty easily. (though the more people also need a fittingly big target space).

Holding her forcefully in place would however interfere with her porting ability, for example.

I'd actually say, btw, that the most important Academy Equipment for Amy would be a SHIELD-Sattelite-capable mobile phone. Because outside of classes she could be everywhere ?
