My big problem with the rumor is the stuff about the mini console. A pro version is inevitable and the timing seems right, but the rumored mini console flat-out can't play certain games like Super Mario Party. That seems like a huge design flaw that Nintendo would want to avoid.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?In more verifiable news, Shantae 5 is coming out later this year. Systems it's being released on are Switch (of course), PS 4, Xbox, PC, and Apple Arcade.

Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — Unknown8GB seems like a lot for a machine of that size.

Out of the box. Super Mario Party can still be played with separate Joy Cons as long as you have a few spare.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Fair point. In that case I imagine some games will patch in higher settings for pro versions like they did with the mid-gen PS and X Box revisions.
I imagine that Nintendo would need a 'minimum standard spec' for third parties so that non-pro versions of games wouldn't be absolute dog poop.

Steamworld Quest hits the eShop on April 25th, for $25 (prices in other regions are in the tweet). It's Switch exclusive "for the foreseeable future", so I expect to see it on PC in Spring 2020.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."So I've brought this up before a long time ago, but I think there's an issue with my left Joycon.
When I play BOTW, Link starts walking to the left all on his own even when I'm not touching it.
I've tried aligning it, but when I do, I can't get it to go straight when I turn it in circles, and even just moving it in one direction is wonky.
Any suggestions?
One Strip! One Strip!Sit closer to the dock?
...Does that really help?
One Strip! One Strip!Your joycon's going out. They're poorly made and fuck up very easily, so you're either going to need to send it in if it's still in warranty or pay another 60 dollars for a new one.
It can. I’ve blocked a Joycon signal with my leg, or the edge of the TV. It’s not especially powerful.
Shit. How did I even do that? I don't have the money to buy a new one...but I have only had it for just over a year now (I got it Christmas 2017), so I guess I could send it to get looked at...but that would be brutal. I already have little to do in terms of game playing.
I should also note that it sometimes skips. I try to move to one thing, like selecting a specific weapon only for it to move over one slot too many, or when I'm in the main switch menu it does the same.
Just today, it also started scrolling on it's own when I was looking through news updates. I guess needing to replace it makes sense.
One Strip! One Strip! You probably didn't do anything. They're just really poorly made and it's a known issue. Both of mine went out and I only bothered to replace one of them.
If you're going to spring for another controller, I highly recommend the pro controller instead. Even one of the Hori wired ones for 20 dollars is fine, but the wireless official one is a much better made controller, has pretty much every feature of the joycon, and almost every single game under the sun (except Pokemon Let's Go) works with it.
Money is ridiculously tight for me right now. Even the cheapest controller is outside my grasp until I fix that.
Could I get it fixed if I send it in? Is my warranty still good?
One Strip! One Strip!Super Mario Party doesn't either.
Unfortunately probably not. The warranty lasts a year.
If you have a GCN Adapter, you can use a GameCube controller for most games until you get more money.
Do note that there's no secondary L button, and the button layout might be awkward for some games.

<Sighs>
Don't have one of those either.
Not having money or a good way to make money...really, really sucks.
One Strip! One Strip! Both of my controllers are having that problem, and I got my Switch less than a year ago. How do I take advantage of the warranty? I don't have money to replace them either.

Call up Nintendo support and follow the instructions.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I'm annoyed that game youtubers can't stop wishing 3ds to die Seriously, its really annoying for people who still play with 3ds
It's just a rumor, yet people and a lot of news sources are reporting as fact. I'm worried this will cause Switch sales to go down...
