Why is Ben Schwartz trying to do a Donald impression?

They are ALREADY working on season 3? At this rate, we will have to wait another year before the writers really start to take criticism into account. Or are they doing that already?
Optimism is a duty.I imagine that Scrooge ended up with Launchpad because Launchpad is the only one he could find that would put up with his adventuring shenanigans. When Scrooge tells him they need to land on a volcano, Launchpad just does it, instead of telling Scrooge it's suicidally dangerous so no, he won't do that.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. As well any damages Launchpad does cause are taken out of his pay. (As well Scrooge is not one for getting new vehicles anyway. Preferring to just patch them up.)
Explains Launchpad's kind of shabby abode.
He doesn't actually pay launchpad because he cant afford the insurance
New theme music also a boxLaunchpad is practically uninsurable. Donald is actually uninsurable.
Or would it be the other way around?

Has the Duck Tales reboot referenced "Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers?"
Speaking of references, did you know "Mc Mystery At Mc Duck Manor" may have a shout-out to Scrooge's inspiration, Ebenezer Scrooge? In "Mc Mystery At Mc Duck Manor", Scrooge calls birthdays "a time of finding yourself a year older and a year richer". This may be a parody of "A Christmas Carol" where Ebenezer Scrooge called Christmas "a time of finding yourself a year older and not a penny richer".
Another possible (though unlikely) reference in "Mc Mystery At Mc Duck Manor" is when Scrooge Mc Duck takes off a mask of his smiling face to reveal his real face is frowning. This is similar to my all-time favorite movie "Amadeus", where Mozart's father, Leopold, takes off a smiling mask to reveal he's really frowning.
No, Mr. Bunker, "this here" is justiceI'm pretty sure they haven't. That Darkwing Duck comic did, though. There was one panel where Gadget told LP he wouldn't make a good pilot. For... obvious reasons.
He did? That sure wasn't in the play. I'll have to go and check that soon.

Optimism is a duty.No, it hasn’t yet.
I feel like I remember reading that the characters are tied up because there was supposed to be a movie about them, that’s been stuck in Development Hell for years, but has never actually officially left production. Take this with a grain of salt of course though.

Like a lot of us speculated, Tom Kenny was just confirmed to be voicing Feathry Duck.
Now the question is, who will Jack Mc Brayer voice?

First two episodes descriptions of S2 are out:
Episode 1 - "The Most Dangerous Game ... Night" 20/10/2018 A game night is anything but relaxing as the family faces shrink rays, a barbaric civilization and an unhealthy level of competitiveness.
Episode 2 - "The Depths of Cousin Fethry!" 27/10/2018 Huey and Dewey are led on an adventure by their distant Uncle Fethry, who takes them to the depths of Scrooge's deep-sea laboratory.

That doesn't really sound like a season opener. Will it be a two parter?
Optimism is a duty.Good point and question, don't know honestly. Don't tell me the episodes are out of order... again.

Why "suspected"?
Also, a shrink ray plot? Not terribly original. Not even for the Duckverse. Not even for Ducktales! I hope they try to do something new with it.
Optimism is a duty.I can see a good shrink ray plot being like the Ant Man movies, where everyone ends up shrinking and growing at will.
I don't expect that to be the case, but...
October 20th, much sooner than I thought. I wish other animated.series had that kind of hustle!
It's not really a hustle, it's just a consequence of that very long hiatus halfway through season 1. Season 2 is starting at around the same time that the pilot did.
Optimism is a duty.Season 1 should not have finished only a month ago. Maybe six months ago. At best.
The sad part is that Disney XD is no longer airing the show and Disney Channel still does hiatuses.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Jack McBrayer could be Playing Against Type as Rockerduck. I could see him parodying the stereotypical Southern tycoon.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I thought Disney Channel was still better about it than Disney XD, which got out like three episodes and then went on hiatus until Christmas Time, with which it went on hiatus again.
Disney Channel, even if I think the episode order was still screwed up, at least aired them up to the end of the season instead of trying to use hiatuses to starve fans of content until they can air them to get a bulk viewership. Which I get the feeling failed, judging by the fact the shift to Disney Channel happened at all
Although Disney XD seems to have been struggling for a while anyway, and is more or less just "the channel with Marvel and the occasional Star Wars cartoon", and I don't think there are any original shows being developed for it otherwise, being mostly relegated to reruns of shows that are over.

I think Scrooge just wanted a cheap driver, and LP fitted the bill. Also Scrooge loves hiring loonies, apparently. And yes, that IS canon.
I don't think there is much more to it, honestly. He didn't seem very close to LP in the pilot. He barely knew who he even was. I think the implication is that LP was just another lackey that barely registered with Scrooge until the pilot episode.
Optimism is a duty.
