amiibos!: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Give Nintendo My Money

Went amiibo shopping today, but I couldn't find any of the Zelda ones I wanted.

I saw both Cloud and the Bot W ones, but I've brought too many impulse amiibo recently. So I resisted temptation.

I got the Player 1 versions of Cloud and Bayonetta.

Only Corrin I saw was the male one and I prefer the female one.

I don't even know why my 2P Cloud and Bayonetta haven't shipped yet.

I'm trying to order Corrin Player 2 now (couldn't do it earlier) and she's going for over $60 from third parties because Amazon is out after only a week.

Dammit Nintendo.

Plague Knight, Specter Knight, and King Knight amiibo revealed.

So many amiibo I want, but so many sold out. :(

At least I can have comfort in owning my squishy.

Eh, I'm not fond of the frosted plastic support. I'll stick with my Smash amiibo Mega Man.

What's it do? And is Smash Megaman also compatible?

It's not going to see release in Europe, anyway, so I'm not especially concerned about it. Barely anywhere in my general vicinity seems to sell amiibo figures at all anymore.

amiibo announced for Inkling (Smash version), Ridley, and Octo Expansion stuff for Splatoon 2.

I hope we get amiibo of Wolf, Pichu, Young Link, Ice Climbers, Snake, Ivysaur, and Squirtle.

It's odd they didn't announce those alongside Smash!Inkling and Ridley.

Maybe it's me, but I was under the impression that they were going to do new Smash amiibo for all fighters in Ultimate (including new amiibo for ones that got them from Smash 4); they just have only revealed Inkling Girl and Ridley so far.

...I'm kinda hoping they don't, just so I don't feel compelled to drop hundreds of dollars on figures I already have the Smash 4 versions of.

I'd only get the characters who don't have a Smash 4 amiibo version, like Wolf.

They might just do a run of new designs and new characters,

I think the Zelda and Ganondorf ones would be pretty cool at least.

Ridley, Inkling, and Wolf amiibo launching alongside Smash Ultimate on December 7th for $15.99; Every Smash amiibo will be getting a reprint later this year for $12.99.

Does anyone know if the Solaire of Astora amiibo was ever released? I'm getting conflicting reports.

It has not been released yet, it'll release when the Switch version of Dark Souls comes out sometime this summer. There were preorders for it though.

Wondering if the "this summer" is also a lie and they're seriosuly waiting for Switch Paid Online (TM) to start before releasing the game. Boo.
