amiibos!: or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Give Nintendo My Money

Wario would only ever marry money. Or garlic.

Remember what happened in, what was that, Wario Land 4 I guess when faced with the prospect of marrying a wealthy princess, Wario just absconds with the money.

In Wario Land: Shake It!, he literally throws the princess out of his way to get at the treasure.

Besides the new Samus Amiibo there's also a squishy Metroid Amiibo.

There's a lot of new amiibo today.

Metroid and Samus, Wedding Mario, Peach, and Bowser, Chrom and Tiki, Goomba and Koopa Troopa.

Don't forget the Breath of the Wild Champion amiibo.

Man, I have seen the Zelda and the Link for Breath of the Wild and I waaaant them. I want all things Zelda???? Although sadly it's probably going to be a while before I get a Switch or Breath of the Wild. *sigh* Money priorities. (I'm in the position of kind of wanting a Switch and also kind of wanting one of the new 3ds that are basically just the 2DS with the clamshell design.)

I predict riots if they don't also eventually give the audience the fish husband.

The Urbosa amiibo worked way better than I thought it would. That said, screw you, Revali. You were a complete jackass, and if I wanted Jackass Bird amiibo, I'd already own a Falco.

Wait, do we know what the amiibo do? Or do you mean the amiibo itself looks better than you thought it would?

The amiibos, as usual, were almost immediately sold out, and I was sadly unable to order any. Hopefully they'll be doing a second run soon.

Sorry, I should have been more clear - I didn't think that Urbosa would render that well as a model, and it worked out way better than I thought her amiibo would.

Well given that only Game Stop and Bestbuy put up preorders, I think you'all have plenty of time/chances to get them. Especially with Amazon...even though they've long stopped doing amiibo preorders

For anyone looking to get the SS Link, which just came out today with the other Zelda amiibo, Amazon finally has it up.

It's for Prime members only, so you may need to begin a free trial to get one.

It popped up on my nowinstock alerts, so I snagged me one. Now just gotta wait on possible restocks of Mipha and P2 Cloud.

EDIT: I didn't realize they aren't out until next month.

Getting that Metroid amiibo will be like

So a store around here suddenly had Guardians and Bokoblins back in stock.

So I nabbed both.

I got really lucky and went to a Big W here just after they got in a shipment of the SS, TP and MM amiibo.

EB Games apparently sold out in the preorders stage.

They still had already run out of the MM amiibo, but at least I got 2/3 of the set.

Corrin Player 2 is here.

Successfully acquired Cloud, Corn, and Mayonnaise. Now my Smash Bros. collection is complete.

Yeah, it's finally over, isn't it?

All I need at this point is Cloud Player 2 and my collection will be complete at last.

Got the Splatoon 2 and F Corrin amiibo ordered.

I was able to get the Splatoon 2 amiibo plus Cloud!

Now to buy more Ziploc bags because I ran out...
