Dropping this here, there's a new My Superhero Academy RP accepting sign-ups where it takes place in a post Apocalyptic fantasy setting whose culture is based on a mix of Mesopotamia, South/Meso American, and Native American cultures where people attend an superhero academy to become superheroes (called Protecters in this setting) Link to RP signups
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."Interest check for yet another YGO RP?
GIVE ME YOUR FACE-kicks down door-
Did someone say YGO RP?
I do say it’s time to rp.
I can do it. For the sake of my master and seonbae…Cool.
Any reqs for deck limitations?
GIVE ME YOUR FACERe:Deck Restrictions
I’d say limit things like Ghost Girls, general handtraps (unless we’re using a sim to preplan duels)
Also block obvious OP combos like Barrone/Dragite in Swordsoul for instance
Dibs on Swordsoul btw
While I will likely not participate: Except for main deck staples (hand traps, perhaps the odd tuner), themed deck only. Perhaps dual themed for "stronger characters".
Well, didn't I join at a good time? I would totally be interested in a YGO RP!
Ay, you! It's Gold, and I'm noble!K
Ill start drafting something
GIVE ME YOUR FACEAnyone doing a SRW-type game?
I know somebody has sign-ups for a robot RP; very Armored Core-esque.
I'd join a SRW RP, for sure.
The concept of a Kingdom Hearts/hybrid crossover RP did pop into my mind (due in-part to me not finding any KH RPs in search results), but I'm not sure if it's something people would be down bad for.

"Doctor, I did say look for the Spymaster. Or should I say Spy....Master?"I've been working on rules for a RP idea I've had that would mix roleplaying with a very rules-light kind of Civilization style turn-based strategy game. You play as some sort of deity leading your followers, vying for control of newly forming fantasy worlds. The worlds themselves would be represented in Hexographer maps, while the gods can interact with each other and make attempts at diplomacy in a kind of Olympus realm of the gods place.
I've already discussed the idea a bit with a few people over Discord, but I figured I'd also put the word out here, to see who else might be interested in such an idea.
You are reading this.
IMHO, I think the problem getting it up is how do you run it and whether you'll have real/super robot media that the GM/s may not be that familiar.
I'm looking for prospective players for a roleplay titled The Rescue of Paradise. It's a fantasy adventure RP where a group of girls must band together to save an island from certain and impending doom. Currently, all the slots are empty and only two players are pending to create their character.
If anything else, setting it up at least would be easy enough. Have players explain some of the systems behind the mechs they're using so everybody's on (mostly) even ground. "Giant mechs" is fine for a foundation; it's all in the way these systems are presented. For example, a Sentai Mecha and a Gundam aren't that far apart sans how they're piloted and some arsenal-changes. For a kitchen-sink scenario, it'd only take a liberty or two to get them to co-exist.

"Doctor, I did say look for the Spymaster. Or should I say Spy....Master?"I hope it would be easy to get it up.
Been redoing my idea of a Cold War special forces-type RP with the conspiracy element on it.
Would like to suggest two things to make it interesting (aside from keeping CIA or KGB-based):
- Stick to multiple countries like Silent Storm
- Stick to less countries
Also doing a Black Lagoon-inspired RP where we play contractors contracted to provide military/police training for a (fictional) Southeast Asian country.
Update to say "A Holiday in Huenan" is all set up:

Anyone up for a role playing game loosely based on Paranoia? I figure boil the system down to just the four stats (Brains, Chutzpah, Mechanics, and Violence) and other details I can track/explain as the GM. would anyone be up for a digimon rp?
Have the interest. Pending being able to come up with anything.
Wake me up at your own risk.I would like one in which the tamers are characters from other series, being both a digimon rp and a crossover rp mixed together
I'm in the mood for a Western/retro Sci-fi RPG, inspired by sources like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Red Dwarf, Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Space Dandy, The Stainless Steel Rat series, and Firefly. (Feel free to add your own)
Players will be a rag-tag crew who either find or start with their own ship. To make the RPG as simple as possible, I am thinking of four stats inspired in part by the Firefly board game: Violence (how well you fight), Fast Talk (how well you bullshi... can use your charisma), Mechanics (How well you can modify/repair your ship), and Science (How well you do in tasks like Space navigation, Medicine, etc). Please IM me or post if anyone is interested.
There are definitely a number of people who would be interested in something like that, though I'm not super clear how many of them are still on TVT...
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.
