Wizards Vs Muggles: Signup 3

Hello everyone!

We're recruiting new players for the Wizards vs Muggles RPG right here in TV Tropes! It's full of fun characterization, interesting takes on minor events and comments in the Potterverse, spying, intrigue, action, love, hatred, destruction, and other exciting things!

The story is set a few years from now, in the start of 2019, one year into the war between the Wizards and the Muggles all around the world after the masquerade fell. You can play as a wizard (dark or light), a muggle (military or military) a squib (if you want I guess?) and whatever else you can reasonably justify! We briefly even had a Veela character. And she was Southern!

If you're interested in fighting the good fight (from either side) or peace talks, or just having fun in a familiar world being explored in new ways, fill out the character sheet below and join into the fun!

• Appearance: gender, physical details, general attire, et cetera.

• Backstory: Fairly brief.

• Personality: Also fairly brief. Keep the other factors in mind when you write this.

• Equipment and magic: This is where it gets complicated. If you're a muggle, your loadout will have the chance to change significantly throughout the plot. The equipment you list will be a default list, more or less; think of it as a reflection of what your character specializes in. You won't have to list absolutely everything. If you're playing a wizard, you get your wand, and potentially a few pieces of enchanted equipment: this is up for bargaining with the GM. Also, you get a couple of spells: see next sections.

• Perks/Spells: Muggle or Wizard, this is where you'll list your character's perks and abilities, especially any areas of specialization; in addition, wizards should use this section to mark down the spells that they're good at. This will really help with more advanced stuff like Apparation or Shielding. Wizards can still cast advanced spells without proficiency, but expect unreliability and fun to set in. Alternatively, posting simpler spells here will allow you to cast those spells with more power or precision than they otherwise will. This is also to place to list things like, for instance, broom proficiency. It's as much for flavor as it is for mechanics.

Wouldn't this make a muggles op? A muggle can put five bullets into someone in the time it takes a wizard to say a spell.

Not quite so...

You sure this is still on? I'm particularly interested in a cultist character that's engaged in Government Conspiracy. Another member of the Armed Revenants besides another member there called Billy Macklin.

The fact that the last post was almost ten months ago should probably be a clue.
