Regardless of your view of dubbing, one can't deny that a good dub can help expand anime to viewers who prefer watching media in their own language. English and Spanish (and to a lesser extent Italian and German) dubs have gotten quite the spotlight, but I thought it might be interesting to share examples of anime dubbed in obscure or unexpected languages.

I'll kick things off with the Sinhala dub of Gakuen Alice. The dub's nothing extraordinary, but I was still pleasantly surprised to see anime like Alice on Sri Lankan television when I studied abroad there. Then again, K-Dramas, Merlin, and Ben 10 are incredibly popular there, so I guess anime would come into the mix for Sri Lankan television as well.

Any other unique dubs to find and share, folks?
