THIS. Hanzo can also one-shot at any range and often is even more dangerous in melee range where he can just flick arrows at point blank range and get lucky with hitboxes being more generous with projectiles.

This new change is specifically so he can no longer one-shot Mei, Torb and Reaper in melee range, because it took Blizzard 7 years to realize that melee combat should maybe be disadvantageous for a sniper.

Yet another problem coming up from having one tank instead of two.

I was about to say, wouldn't the better way to fix this to be getting the second tank back? I remember Widow could be a problem in OW 1 but I don't recall her being as much of an issue that I am hearing about now.

Hanzo could be a problem but admittedly I never really counted him persay as a full sniper, unless you consider ole Lucksman Sniper from Team Fortress 2 Sniper still

But its Blizzard and they really can't balance it seems. OW 1 also proved that

Honestly reverting to 2 tanks would just be funny as the capstone to OW 2 literally being the same game.

If anything, snipers should work the opposite, where they have damage fall-off when the opponent's closer to them.

I dont think that's how guns work.

Imagine Blizz restoring 6v6. Everybody will remember Blizz as the most clown company in 2023... or maybe in all gaming history.

So they’re nerfing the damage of Mei’s primary fire by almost half and giving her an increased slow for hitting people for 1.5 seconds (when stun mechanics are absolute bullshit to fight against). So in order for you as a DPS hero to do any real damage you need to hit people with your non-hitscan projectile that takes a second to charge. Why not just play Mc Cassidy, whose primary is hitscan, does more damage, and he has a panic fire for close range opponents. He’s also getting a new mechanic where his magnetic grenade slows people down. This update sounds like it’s gonna turn Mei into a Mc Cree that struggles to kill a tunnel-visioned Widowmaker and, as a DPS hero, all of your kills are gonna be from teammates stealing your kills on stunned opponents. I’m a Mei main so good to know my main is gonna be completely useless after this patch.

Just like the good ol' days in the original.

Well I didn’t play Overwatch much back then. But more likely it’s because the next DPS hero is gonna be like Mei but better in pretty much every way so people pay to unlock them.

It is how gyrojets work.

I always did wonder how Tracer's pistols are reloaded by just, like, spinning them.

She is just rewinding the bullets back into the gun.

Then I would have to say I've seen that done better by another game since this one clearly indicates bullets going back into the gun and Tracer's Recall ability has a clear animation to it...but of course, it would be quite terrible and confusing to animate a bunch uhhhhhhhhhhh, I dunno, chrono-orbs around all the places and people Tracer shot at just to make a thematically-consistent animation for her reloading by rewinding the rounds back in.

She also stores her guns in thst weird wrist pads she has.

Tracer is the next one to get a mythic btw. You can unlock it earlier now as they are moving some of the variations to earlier tiers.

This looks like it's just what they did for Overwatch 1 which was online team-based PVE events that would rotate in and out based on the time of year.

So, no, it's A PVE, but not the PVE as advertised in the first place.

So 15$ for one PVE mission.

It was all fine then that blog post made me hate everything

Are they implying mission are unlocked on the BP or have to be paid for?

Sigh... they cant even do the bare minimum right anymore.
