Great video, but yeah, you can totally see the scale issues I mentioned with D.Va and Reinhardt in there. Reinhardt should not be a Humongous Mecha.
You sure about that? Reinhardt in his armor is clearly not man-shaped.
Reinhardt outside his suit is a big guy, almost as large as the suit itself is. Combined with his cartoonish proportions he actually fits in the suit fine.
Damn it. I missed on skin during the event. I for some reason thought it ended on the 20th.
The first time in ages that I've actually missed an event item.
And it will sit unchecked for another year.
That's not going to bother me at all.
You can always grab one during the anniversary event.
Sometimes i wish i had like 40 avoids.
3 is not enough for me.
Uni catNot sure what to make of this, but we have some more lore.
Somebody once told me the world was macaroni, I took a bite out of a treeBaptiste eh? Seems to be a Talon desertor and a medic.
I'll assume he is an omnic and a healer
Uni catIt does say he was "built to survive".
He could be more cyborg-esque though, right? I mean, that isn't something we've gotten a ton of. Or, at least, not been the main focus of anyone I can think of. We've gotten characters with robotic limbs like Mc Cree and some with more questionably robotic parts like Sym or Doomfist, but I don't think we've outright gotten someone who is a Cyborg.
Besides Genji? I don't really know.
But he could be built as his Shadow Archetype. A former Talon Operative who deserted vs a former Blackwatch Operative who also deserted.
Although pretty sure Genji stuck around and was promoted to proper agent. I think Mccree is the one that bailed out.
Uni catThere's Genji. He was massively injured and rebuilt with robotics. That's about the dictionary definition of cyborg right there.

Genji?

Fuck. You're right.
I kind of forget that Genji exists a lot.
You clearly don't play healer then
Uni catI play Moira. My healing is way more hands off than Mercy's. And usually there are two healers meaning I take a more off-support DPS role.
Well then, as a Moira player, you should recognize Genji as the guy on the red team who gets really salty when you right-click his weeb ass to death. (-:

Or the guy whom gets extremely salty if he does not have a support up his ass constantly healing him and only him.
Or he will try to 1 vs 6 the entire enemy team because he thinks its like that one bad cookie cutter shonen anime he watched.
Support wise I've been trying out Brigitte out in AI and a couple random games. Had fun with her when Mayhem was up last.
I wonder what nice would Baptise, if he is even the next hero, would fill as a support.
It hints at "being a good shot for a medic" so maybe he will compete with ana and be a main healer.
Uni catWe really need a Talon Tank already.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. He looks to be interesting if hes our next hero. You'd have to be really good at what you do to be able to desert Talon, and live.
With previous new heroes the first teaser tends to contain a lot of misdirection, which makes me kind of doubt it's Baptiste. The first Brigitte teaser didn't mention her at all she was never referenced by name.
If it's someone mentioned by name in the teaser, I'd actually go with Cuerva instead of Baptiste. Given that Sombra is looking into the incident, I think Baptiste deserted because he figured out a key piece of information about Talon's connection to the global conspiracy that made him lose faith in the organization's aim's.
If it's not, then it's either a modification of the above where Baptiste isn't the first person to uncover this information but was informed of it by the real hero 30. Or hero 30 is a family member (spouse, child, etc.) of Baptiste that he left Talon to protect.
Paris apparently is going live today
