x3 Donno about Okamoto, but I'm pretty sure Deku's VA is a very small boy.
Heart of StoneYamashita?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.AFO's thing is that his primary traits seem to be megalomania, a lack of maturity (he still thinks in terms of comicbook narratives despite being a centuries old man), and kleptomania concerning Quirks. This informs all of his personal attachments with other people. His relationship with his brother for example is basically him living out a cliche We Can Rule Together scenario. His relationship with Tenko seems like he ripped it off of Palpatine's grooming of Anakin.
Disgusted, but not surprisedJust actually well-written this one.
Actually Palps & Anakin is well-written.
Whatβs terrible is the whole nonsense with Palps & Rey & Kylo.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Just because there's a stinkier hole doesn't make the first hole stink less.
Yeah but the 1st hole doesnβt stink much.
Everything involving the Palps is consistently one of the better parts of the PT.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Let's keep the Palpatine talk to the Star Wars thread.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!NVM, inflammatory.
It's the theme song:

All for One intentionally living life as a supervillain should can be pretty mockable
If it wasnβt so frightening
He loves what he does. No pretensions on making it out to be something itβs not
Man lives up to being an evil Overlord. Got the power to back it up & he loves every minute of it.
Type of guy the Palps & Lex Luthor can have a beer with.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Man, I want a remake of that song to play during Shiggy's Jr patricide and a more action-packed version during his AOE thing so much.
And Darkseid, don't forget Darkseid.

Vigilante is back to being interesting, here's hoping it doesn't squander it.
I know.

βMy ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.βFUCK. well that's messed up.
Secret SignatureWell... that's a thing. Fairly certain Pop here has gone through an Eye Scream now since Tamao lost her eye after becoming Kuin, and Pop's bangs are conspicuously covering her left eye. I just binged the last six chapters catching up, and honestly... The Rokuro Nomura being Number 6 twist should have been obvious. Admittedly, I picked up on the Nomura part quickly, but the Rokuro part should have been just as obvious. Black Lagoon distracted me when he called himself Rock due to that being two people named Rokuro doing that, but Rokuro happens to have the Japanese number Roku in it. And of course, Roku means 6. His name may as well be Nomu 6.
Only direction I can see this going is Koichi and Pop's force retirement. Pop won't be going back to much heroism or performing after this. Even though Kuin is controlling her, her reputation will tank and it will be harder to prove her innocence without Rock confessing or scientific study, since the only ones who can testify on her behalf are Knuckleduster, who has been MIA for several years now, and Tamao, who doesn't even know them. Not to mention the trauma this will bring her. And I fully expect Koichi will try to perform a Heroic Sacrifice to save Pop, which will injure him and solidify his decision to quit being the Crawler. Whether they get together is unknown, but what's certain is that Rock has effectively ended the age of Pop.
Do you see who has whose jacket?
I'm honestly afraid they'll pull a Downer Ending for the Vigilantes crew. Knuckleduster dead and/or made into a Nomu, Pop either stuck as Kuin's host and going down in history as a Villain or dying from all this, and Koichi at least broken emotionally if not killed outright by this whole thing. The only upside to this situation be hopefully Rock dying too.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!A discussion in the anime thread together with all of the recent revelations about what the Doctor has been able to do with Quirks got me wondering: has found a way to improve Quirks, specifically, AFO?
By improve I mean remove any limitations or physical drawbacks that might characterize them. He mentions that the research he's implementing into Shigarki now was originally for AFO, and brings up because the whole "lack of memory storage" issue, or whatever.
It seems safe to assume that AFO (Quirk) naturally lets it's user deal with many more Quirks than someone without it could ever handle, but going off of what the Doctor said, even that likely has a natural limit.
So what if the Doctor found a way to remove that limit, and is implanting the improved version of AFO into Shigaraki (along with a bunch of other Quirks)?
the main purpose of nomu research seems to be overcoming the "memory" limit. So yea, it seems very likely that the doctor is seeking to improve AFO, at least indirectly.
Or could Vigilantes end on a cliffhanger? Maybe this is setting up a major arc in the main series.
Vigilantes has a time difference of a few years from the main series. The short Time Skip they did should put the timeframe closer to the beginning of the main series, but that still leaves a gap of around a year from where we are in the present day. And unless its building up to the Villain Factory being another division of the PLF and Rock returning, maybe even with Kuin controlling Pop, I don't see how it could connect.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches! That's exactly what I was suggesting.
Just read it.
Gonna be interesting to see how this all goes down, and how it'll tie into the main series.
They may have to do a Vigilantes Anime or OVA at some point since this stuff may be important. We already have the example with Cloud dude (I forgot both his names! How could I do that?) after all.
One Strip! One Strip!Ya know I think Vigilanties actually does sell decent enough to afford an anime or OVA series at least.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Probably could troll him by calling him a manlet
