The backlash to the backlash. I expected this. Still, it seems appropriate.
Disgusted, but not surprisedHeβll just check out the articles I posted for the view volume covers.
The articles have links to the Twitter announcements that already have people supporting that hashtag in the comment section.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I wonder how many of the High-Ends were volunteers for the process.
As in, "told everything about what the Doctor was going to do with them. Went through with it willingly anyway for one reason or another, despite the process being irreversible".
Mirko is not walking out from this unscathed...
Crust will probably die in her place though.

I assume the answer to that is no one, at least not if we're assuming actual full disclosure of the process.
I will never understand how cavalierly people talk with confidence of character deaths in Shonen series. Well, outside of certain tropes.
Two reasons.
1. It's easier to process death if one is already expecting it.
2. It doubles the joy of surprise upon seeing the people one expect to die survive anyway out from a dire situation.
I mean, just look at the responses and reactions when All Might survived his fight with AFO.
The death flags were real there back then.
So I guess, talking about character's deaths, is basically them trying to defy those expectations by utilizing fate's uncanny ability to prove any declared statement wrong
Since there's conveniently five High-Ends and five top 10 heroes in that team, I think it's fairly obvious where this is going.
Yea Mirko is not in a unique position here. Last time a High End went wild, it searched the city for opponents. Mirko is at best a couple of hundred meters from the main group, High Ends aren't going to look at that and think "nah we good", nor are the heroes going to allow them to run wild.
I like that Mirko has that mix of being part of a hero team yet still going solo.
She's been established from day one as being a bit of a Glory Hound.
You know, I am curious if we're going to get any more... creative ways for the OFA transfer to happen besides hair or blood. After all, there are a lot more ways to get your DNA into someone else. And we still haven't been given an example of the transferee being unwilling to receive it, although they apparently know that's possible.

What other ways?
Like an injection?
Or maybe something a little more...spicy.
There's doujins of that somewhere, I don't even need to look to know that.
Though this is years off, I still wonder how the anime is going to handle the whole Shirakumo/Kurogiri thing. Like, plenty of manga readers were going "who?" when that came up because he was only referenced like once, and the entire backstory was revealed in a spin-off a lot of people don't even read.
So, I Imagine they're going to try to introduce more about that in the anime, but I'm not really sure how that would work.

Unless they make a few OV As of Vigilante. Or something.
Wake me up at your own risk.A mini-arc where Aizawa has the flashback wouldn't be too out of place. Maybe a young up-and-coming hero dies in the line of duty and it comes up in class.
Shirakumo was first mentioned in the manga right after A vs B, so they could put it there. Or when the Kurogiri thing is revealed.

Yeah, right after A vs. B, Mic asks Aizawa does Shinso remind him of himself, or maybe what happened with Shirakumo before Aizawa bluntly cuts him off.
His package with that situation is pretty clearly a part of his investment in Shinso.

Package? You mean baggage?
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!Looks like the heroes have a better chance than I initially thought.
So waking the High Ends suddenly like that is nerfing them to manageable levels.
Really interested in the Eva High End. A completely covered brain seems significant? Also the design's just cool.
Secret SignatureNow, I'm just curious if Horikoshi is going to humanize the Doctor too. Because while villains getting that isn't that rare, I think villains like him, specifically, having scenes and flashbacks like he did in this chapter is unusual.
In response to harassment directed at Horikoshi over the recent controversy, fans have started #We Support You Horikoshi.
