In the bg, there's a statue of a mighty eagle doing a disco pose. :D This is gonna be one hilarious movie.
Oh hey! I found the Mighty Eagle!
Hm, it looks like they're really gonna up the "Mighty" in "Mighty Eagle". Makes the original◊ look like a couch potato.
Well... the eagle in the screenshot is a STATUE. So it's kind of a different thing.
Some of the IGN crew saw clips from the movie.
Highlights:
- They think it's looks hilarious.
- Red is taking anger management classes headed by Matilda, who's become hippie and zen-like. (Though they could tell there's still some rage within her.)
- Bomb suffers from IED (Intermittant Explosions Disorder) and lives in a bomb shelter.
- They have been sworn to secrecy regarding Peter Dinklage as the Mighty Eagle.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and the trailer's coming next week, so let's reserve our judgment until then, all right?

Bump...because trailer!
This...actually made me laugh!
Also, o hai Willow (the blue bird from Angry Birds Stella).
The premise doesn't really seem that interesting to me currently, but this is just the teaser trailer.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."Watched the trailer, and the style looks fun, but it feels like Donald duck: The movie IMHO in premise.
"We be we baby!"The film will introduce a new character who will then become playable in the game.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.I can see that happening. The point of the movie is to revive the success of the game franchise which has been dwindling in shares.
I'm actually kind of excited for this. Even if I wasn't, I would still see it. I am legally obligated to see any movie with SNL comedians. Jason Suedikis, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, Kate Mc Kinnon, etc.
Somehow I keep finding myself surprised at how many places Peter Dinklage manages to show up.
One of these days I'll learn.
That feel you get when you see an obscure actor who you envision to be perfect for a role... only to see the same actor in literally everything years later. -_-
4 month Necroing because new trailer!
... nooooot QUITE the best way to end this. But I suppose some people can enjoy it.
Not a big fan of the peeing gag (though I will admit Bomb and Chuck's horrified reactions were pretty funny), but that wasn't too bad.
It seems like the owl character (hoo-ever that is) could wind up being a secondary antagonist. (He seems as though he's too stupid to realize the pigs are out to get the eggs and it looks like he's hindering the plans to stop the pigs.)
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."Fact, the eagle is voiced by Peter Dinklage.
I am somehow both surprised and unsurprised that this is going to be a real movie. Will Hollywood adapt anything that's profitable?
They'll certainly try.
Potty humor has to die! Especially in animated movies! Our children deserve better.
Too many people of all ages love low-brow humor though.
I thought the joke in the trailer was alright because of the context, but I hope the whole movie isn't like that.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.
That's definitely Stella there. (Also, anyone catch the Mighty Eagle in the background?)
I still think the limbed designs looks a bit weird, but I think it might be more of a good kind of weird. (I think Hal's design (ya know, the Boomerang Bird) is my favorite one...and ironically, I think Red has the worst design.)
I dunno. Even though Angry Birds isn't talked about that much anymore, I think this movie could still work. Or maybe I'm just being overly hopeful, but I dunno. (Obviously there's no way to tell until we see it. )
