Hope nodded, blushing a little on the kiss. "I suppose so..." She said with a small hint of uncertainty. "Well, enough moping. There are still matters to attend. Like Tori's dress of choice which Soph's not going to wear in a million years."

BACK IN TOWN YET AGAIN.

Ayers swiped a pile of cheap stuff at the grocery store, loading it into his cart: sugar, some fruit, some juice, little vinegar, weapons-grade depleted Dust. Everything you needed to not look suspicious when you did the rest of your shopping. He stopped before he reached the registers, however, and pulled out his Scroll.

"Call... Sophie...?" He sighed. "Technically she owns the phone..."

"Thanks," he said to Imuka, walking away a bit before turning to the fox Faunus again.

"...Um, where did Alexia said all the clothes were stored?"

Dining hall

Medus glared across the table at Jack. "And I'm sure that if she was worried about it Ieria would have told her team before the rest of you and myself before the rest of our team." He replied firmly, with an edge of warning in his voice.

Weiss Up

"Arcana?! What do you have to do with those criminals? I've been home at Atlas so I haven't heard anything."

Weiss had stopped walking and was now staring at Pius.

Relationship Upgrade

Alexia wondered just what the heck Alfred was trying to do, but didn't really mind it, horrid as it was.

She was so happy she thought she was going to explode. Her heart thumped wildly. Her brain was still mush.

They broke apart.

She giggled at his words. "Oh, you know me. I'm full of surprises." Alexia said flirtily.

...Wait. Flirtily?! Oh, sweet Gaia! What did that kiss do to her?!

Blushing furiously, she again took her boyfriend's (!!!) hand.

"O-okay. For you, we need something simple and comfortable, right?"

Meanwhile, in the dining hall, Alice was checking her Scroll.

Using the palace wifi.

"Hey. Lexi updated her status..."

"In a relationship?!" Alice spat out her drink.

"Hmm. It seems you must try harder, Alice. At this rate, we will expect grandchildren from Alexia first." said the Queen with a completely straight face.

"Mother!"

Dining Hall

Francesca stopped in her tracks, turned around and faced Jack, a tear rolling down her cheeks. "My daughter will likely die in her 20's because of that thing." She says with a soul crushing despair to her voice as she turns and leaves.

Ieria is seen shaking and trying not to collapse.

Dining hall

Medus walked over and wrapped his arms around Ieria. He bent down and whispered in her ear. "I won't let that happen. Not while I'm alive. Not even while my corpse makes a halfway decent zombie. You hear me?"

Alice heard that. She stomped her way to them. "That is not going to happen."

Her voice was firm.

"What?!?" Jack demanded, "How do we stop it?" He shouted. "You're just going to let the your great grandpa's fuck up kill your daughter!"

"Sure." Yun agreed, standing back up.

Medus reached out and gently took a hold of Alice's arm and tried to pull her into the hug. He gave her his best puppy-dog stare trying to convey his intentions. Help me comfort her

Dining Hall

"My Father." Francesca said simply. "Same as with the rest of my siblings."

Ieria just wept into his shoulder and held onto him, saying nothing.

"...now, we're gonna have to convince her somehow to change it." Hope brought a finger to her temple, thinking. "In honesty, I have not a slightest idea on how do we do it. Suggestions?" She asked Yun as they moved back to the public.

Alice nodded stiffly and joined in the embrace, drawing both of them closer to her.

"Look." she whispered "You saved me. I thought it was impossible, but you did it. This is the same. I won't give up, so don't you dare give up. You are my Knight. We protect each other."

"Oh fuck you." Jack told Francesca. "We're going to save Ieria, with or without you."

Wardrobe

She bit Ai's lip gently after the kiss.

"Of course!" Charisse replied, pausing between the two words for emphasis. "We're the best dressed couple in the entire palace!"

"Nothing concrete, I'm afraid." Yun admitted. "Best I can come up with that she should cover up a bit more, or at least wear a second layer because the temperature inside the hall might be cold…plus, it's Crystallum."

Hug it out

Medus gave Ieria a kiss on the cheek and briefly squeezed Alice deeper into the hug. "Don't worry you two. I've already got the beginnings of a plan."

Hallway

The fox scratched her head and looked around.

"I-I dont remember, sorry, w-where did Miss Maid go? would she know?"

Dining Hall

"Were it that I knew a better way to save her, do you not think I would try?" Francesca asked, hardly caring for Jack's reply. "I told you how I survived, and you asked."

Ieria sobbed gently as she held the two of them close. "T-thank you..."

...Maid? Was that what she saw the lady as?

"I don't know," Lucas said. "Maybe we should head back to the dining hall, there's probably someone there that know where it is..."

Imuka nods in response.

Silvia followed wings flapping behind her.

And so, Lucas and the others head back to the dining hall.
