You're not wrong on that. He's does sound a little different, like he's using his natural voice a bit more.
One Strip! One Strip! So who is Lex going to helping? he clearly cannot work alone for his goals so he needs at least someone else to get what he wants. Also I am sure the witches are going to disappear from the plot soon.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So I wonder: everyone thinks that the Multiverse is gone, even though we know it's not. Does this mean that the doors between realities are closed now? That nobody can travel to different Earths?
Because that was a pretty big thing on The Flash. That would mean we could never see Jay Garrick again or another version of Harrison Wells.
I'd quite like it if they changed up what enables multiverse travel.
Something like making it only possible via powerful magic - at least for a while.
That way we could get multiversal crossovers later. But without it being simple for the heroes to do as with Cisco and his tech.
I think the rules for everything are basically up in the air now. Across the various shows, so far they can't seem to decide whether to treat the new multiverse as reality being different now, whether to treat it as another timeline change, or whether to treat it as all the universe being erased and Earth 1/Prime being the only one left. They're basically just doing whatever with it based on what stories they want to do and letting the nerds sort it out.
So my guess for multiverse travel is "yes, it's still possible, and they'll do it first and technobabble an explanation later."

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So with the series entering a sort of new arc after Crisis, one of the things I hoped for (Lena meeting Oliver during crisis and hearing his story) unfortunately never happened.
When Kara's first action is to come to Lena with the intent of being honest to her, and Lena still shoots her down since she has her memories, I wonder...is it even worth it for Kara to try and still be friends with her anymore.
Lena has just made it clear that literally nothing will get her to trust Kara again, and she's so damned cynical and jaded she can't even see how sincere Kara is (or simply doesn't care). Ultimately, she's just afraid of being hurt but it's still kinda grating.
So anyone got any ideas on what it would take for Lena to pull her head out of her ass? Or do we think that she' just gonna stay clueless?
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, Lena was leaning towards Kara before her mother steered her towards Lex. But what I think will happen is that Lena will be responsible for some horrible thing, she'll realize how horrible it is, then try to fix everything and ask for Supergirl's help.
Lena seems to have come to the conclusion that people in general can't be trusted, hence her mind-control-for-the-greater-good plan.
Then I think she needs to have the mind control used on her.
Probably by Robo-Eve. Having her little project betray her (and even give logical reasons for why it would do so, like Lena is too unstable and delusional to use the power well).
Or alternatively, just put her in the shoes of other people (or just Kara) and make her realize when others are sincere.
Or I don't know, kick her face in. Anything to get her to stop.
One Strip! One Strip!Lena’s decisions are getting increasingly petty, yeah. In this case she has to pick between two people who betrayed her, and picks the explicitly more awful person because her stubbornness at being close to anyone who ever already let her down is outweighing her hatred of Lex and all he stands for.
Does Robo-Eve even still exist, though? Is Eve even still a Leviathan agent now? The way everyone is talking about them it appears that in the current universe Leviathan never became as powerful as they were or never revealed themselves, and that on their end neither of the Luthors ever enacted the evil plans they did in the original course of events.
Eve (and Hope) could be anywhere right now. It’d be fun if in this universe she still worked for Luthorcorp, but was legit the regular, nice girl she and appeared to be.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.More or less; she's choosing the Devil she knows because she's so afraid of leaving herself vulnerable again, and she knows that with Lex that won't happen. And that's the crux of Lena's actions: she's afraid of being hurt and refuses to take the risk to allow it to happen. That's something a lot of people do, but she makes it pretty unsympathetic due to her inability to understand the other side.

Huh. That's a good question and an interesting idea. I suppose we'll find out what the deal with Leviathan is soon enough.
One Strip! One Strip!I think the other reason Lena is unsympathetic is that her coming to a realization is pretty drawn out.
So the audience gets frustrated with her making these decisions again and again.
The Luthor family struggling with self-reflection? This is my surprised face.
Winn is back
Man, new Toyman really makes me miss Trickster. He hasn't been seen over in Flash in ages. With everyone on the same Earth, I'm kind of hoping the Toyman AI gets to team up with Trickster at some point.
Also, I love the confirmation that pretty much everything about the newer, colder Brainy is an act.
Lena's capacity to pretend she empathizes with other people's problems continues

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I loved the new Toyman. The actor (can someone tell me his name cause I forgot it) was clearly having a blast playing two characters.
Lena continues to piss me off. She used to be my favorite character.
Please tell that boring co-worker guy isn't a love interest. If he is hopefully they make their relationship more interesting.
Poor Brainy.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadWilliam and Kara becoming a thing was clear from second 1. Can't be worse than Mon-El, and I was never really a Supercorper, so I'm open for it.
Anyways, great to see Winn again, hope he sticks around for a bit.

You lost!I prefer Brainy being the way he is to the way Lena is. Both are willing to compromise themselves to what they believe to be beneficial but among other differences, Brainy knows how alone he has to be and is willing to take it, Lena is always on the edge of breaking down because she has cut herself off from anyone else and is only trusting someone because she knows she cannot trust them. Lena deludes herself to a paradox without attempt for a release, Brainy can release because he can feel regret.
Mon el is pretty much the lowest point you can go.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Still can't believe Melissa Benoist and Chris Wood are actually a real life couple. They had so little chemistry.....
Even more amazing when you compare them to the terrific chemistry of Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford.

I just hope they give William something more than being a cute guy with an accent that works with her. I mean I don't ship her and Lena anymore so at least give a good new ship.

I feel like Brainy's voice changed a bit too after removing the inhibitors.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.
