Any bets on how bad it will be when she finally learns about it?
Wake me up at your own risk.I'm desperately hoping something happens to make Lena realize her anyone who lies to me is unconditionally deserving of my scorn for all time and not allowed to reconcile things attitude played a part in Kara being so scared of coming clean and that she breaks out of it and gives them the latter a chance.
But that wouldn't be dramatic enough.
One Strip! One Strip!Because Kara is so understanding when other people lie to or keep secrets from her?

My objection is that Karas enemies both already know her secret identity, and that Lena is hugely important to her.
Which kind of utterly demolishes all arguments for keeping the secret.
Worse, on a pure planning perspective, it makes me feel there is something very wrong with Karas thinking - She is trying to control information which is already in the hands of her Enemies. If she does not tell Lena, someone else will do so at the worst possible time. And that is not just predictable to us, as viewers, it is predictable to Kara. Which means continuing to keep it makes her look, basically, insane.
And this has been the situation for ages. Lillian knows! Kara knows Lillian knows! Lillian has known for a long time, and while she is in prison, she could at any time send Lena a goddess accursed letter just to fuck with Kara. Why, oh why would she not want to get out in front of that entirely inevitable disaster?
I don't mind the secret identity idea, but I do mind when it's overused simply for the sake of drama, as it is here (like, Alex has a reason not to know. But with everyone else knowing at this point, Lena has zero beyond much of the character drama being based around it. It's actually a liability at this point).
Imo, a secret identity is for people you don't know, not your closest friends. When you're Spider-Man, you're keeping your identity secret from people like the Kingpin or even Jameson, not your girlfriends. Etc.
But if you are going to keep your identity secret from the people you care about, if you're at the point where your enemies all know your identity and are actively using it to act against you, that's the point where those people need to know pronto.
Like, shit, crazy evil Supergirl was out taking pictures with her sister with none of them knowing. Sure, Lena would be devastated to learn the truth, but Kara's double could walk into L-Corp tomorrow and kidnap Lena for Lex without anyone realizing until it's too late.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Remember when there was a time when Iris wasn't not being told about the Flash's identity? They pushed that much farther with Lena.
Wake me up at your own risk. And it's definitely worth bringing up in cases like this that while Iris has her detractors, she's has many fans as well, and didn't come out of her Conflict Ball phase as hated as the likes of Felicity or Merlyn because they put a stopper on the "let's milk this conflict for drama" button and moved the characters forward.
Overdoing stuff like this just makes people turn against the characters.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.True, but Kara wouldn’t flat out refuse any attempt to apologize and rekindle that friendship.
We’ve acknowledged that Kara has made mistakes, but she’s also a lot more willing to forgive. Lena is not.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm surprised Brainy was able to stop those agents. I was worried that was going to get him shot.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Brainy beat up Amazo (when it had the powers of Superman). Ain't no punks with bullets gonna bring him down.
One Strip! One Strip!Agreed. When just having a secret identity is the entire reason there's any drama, you've admitting you don't have a reason to keep it around as a concept.
Mostly is to have a halfway quiet life, but Kara isn't enjoying much of that.
Wake me up at your own risk.Yeah, but that's when you're keeping your identity secret from the world at large. Not keeping your identity secret from the people closest to you.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Well, at least Lena will find out soon and this will be finally done with. Of course, then we can look forward to half a season of drama between her and Kara. 😑

You lost!...
Damn Brainy.
The worst part is, he clearly knew exactly what was happening to him, and couldn't do a damn thing to stop it.
Also, how did Lex do the invasion so damned quickly?
One Strip! One Strip!Doesn't Lex's plan fall apart the moment Supergirl shows up anywhere?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult....Probably.
This is Lex we're talking about though, so he's either taken that into account...or he's being an arrogant twit.
Time will tell which one is which.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, that was A Ship Sinking if I ever saw one. Poor Nia
Otherwise, great episode.

Hopefully he'll download himself to somewhere else and Brainy can get his body back.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Murderous hate groups are well known for ruining everything.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Too bad you can't have J'onn turning their brains to mush.
Wake me up at your own risk....why not?
He's been mushing the brains of other people (even a good friend), and these assholes deserve it.
I know there's the morality of it, and two wrongs don't make a right, but sometimes you just gotta make sure a dick gets mentally rekt.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, and I mean he KILLED Manchester, who was certainly not as bad as them.

Yup. We all know that she won't get the chance to tell Lena on her terms like she wants.
And with how completely unforgiving Lena is of any perceived betrayal, this is gonna be the death knell of their friendship.
One Strip! One Strip!
