Wasn't Argus a 'Regular God' when he set up everything in Armageddon.

Now you mention it, actually I'mp retty sure he was, and only got Elder God status in some endings such as Rain's or Taven's?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowMy understanding was he became an Elder God somewhere in between setting up Blaze and Armageddon.
Wasn't Argus a 'Regular God' when he set up everything in Armageddon.
Nope. When Taven learned from Caro that Daegon killed Argus and Delia, Taven doesn't believe it because Argus is an Elder God and Delia was a powerful sorceress.
im surprise he is a elder god, I always hear of him as edenia protector god.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"That was my thinking. He started as Edenia's equivalent to Raiden but was later elevated to Elder God.
and But the way Taven said it indicated Argus was already an Elder God just before he had Taven and Daegon knocked unconscious and sealed in Earthrealm.
That's actually why I thought Daegon's ending was canon for the longest time.
And I still do to justify how Shao Kahn acquired the unlimited power promised to whosoever defeated Blaze.
My theory on how Armageddon canonically ended is that, why Taven gets one of the two swords Daegon stole from Argus' temple in Earthrealm in order to face Blaze, he had to fight his way through the other Kombatants. However, as Taven reached and fought Blaze, Daegon secretly followed Taven and killed Blaze. Argus and Delia then appear, admitting they faked their deaths to test their sons and after arranging for Daegon to be punished, they begin planning for Taven's reward but the unlimited power seemingly goes to Shao Kahn.
Given how 11 revealed that Kronika took advantage of Shao Kahn's victory, what happened to Argus, Delia, and Taven is that Centrion must have had them killed. Then, we have Raiden attempting to challenge Shao Kahn and failing. Raiden then sends visions of what had happened so far before Shao Khan kills him.
So wait, you're saying that oopsy doopsy, Argus made a fucky wucky and Shao Kahn got all that power?
So what, was Argus holding a ball of superpower, he accidentally dropped it ("Whoops! Butterfingers!") and it fell on Shao Kahn's ass or something?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI doubt they came up with the idea of Kronika all the way back in Armageddon, but the idea of Taven being killed by Cetrion is intriguing for some reason.
Either way, I doubt Argus would've been ok with Shao having the power of Blaze.
Shao Kahn's Superpower Suppository.

If I remember correctly shinnok's ending has a him using a decoy to do the fighting and said copy ends up beating blaze and the two have to fight.
I think Liu kang had a ending similar to Kobra in MK 9 but the elder gods just sent their champions to fight him rater than what they did to get rid of Kobra.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaHis ending in MK 9's doesn't mention that, although Shang Tsung's sorta does.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI know Cetrion is an Elder God, and Shinnok used to be. Do we know any others by name?

If I remember the MK 9 endings correctly, Liu Kang challenged Raiden for the spot of Guardian of Earthrealm, won, and become a despot. Shang Tsung's ending extends from this, in that Bo'Rai Cho decided to train Shang Tsung to become Outworld's Mortal Kombat champion when Liu Kang set his eyes on the realm.
Yeah. In that case it only mentioned Shang Tsung as being prepped to take on Liu.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowYeah I rewatched the endings and Kang just becomes protector of Earth Realm similar to his Armageddon ending and Shang Tsung is later prepped to take him out in his own ending.
While I would imagine that the events of MK 11 were not planned back then I do wonder if Scorpion being the champion of the Elder Gods had played into the whole perfect timeline plan.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaWonder, out of all the Outworld characters so far, who do you think would have worked as a good candidate for Protector of their world, Bo'Rai Cho training included?
Wake me up at your own risk.I will said bo rai cho itself, he train people to defend earthrealm of shao khan and fight with the force of light, I will said he deserve to become protector god of outworld.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Probably not, but I always find Scorpion becoming the Elder Gods' champion a fascinating concept. Too bad it didn't go anywhere when Armageddon came along.
Li Mei. She's the most heroic Outworlder besides Cho and already has protecting/avenging her people built into her backstory.
Yeah, even in their Midway days they had some serious issues with dropping plotlines. I liked the idea of Scorpion being the Elder Gods' champion but by Armageddon he's back on yet another revenge kick because the Elders thought it'd be funny to revive his clan as zombies and yet in the intro he's randomly fighting Sub-Zero, who by that point he had no reason to beef with anymore. Hell, Quan Chi was right there.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowBesides, we all know that Quan Chi has a personal vendetta against Jax.
Ah. Musta missed that. That actually would explain why Blaze gives out phenomenal power when beaten..I think. I feel like there's some odd unexplained steps but that sounds about right.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you know
