While I haven't played it in a while, I can see why people enjoy Tekken 7. It may not have everything people want but for some people it has the stuff they do like.
For people that play mostly online I imagine Tekken 7 is their favorite. People that play more offline probably like Tekken Tag 2 more.

Tag 2's hard to get into but is probably my favorite team-based fighting game. Shame about how things went down with one of its major tournaments hurting the game's competitive life out in the west, but it's got pretty much everything you could want in a Tekken. Even 1 v 1 if that's how you'd rather play it.
7's alright. Kind of sick of all the dumb guest characters at this point but it is what it is.

Meh, not seeing the hype for Black IP Man yet.
Probably will have a better opinion once there's actual gameplay of the guy.

It's crazy to think back to playing T3 when I was younger and seeing how much Julia has changed. She might be the most dynamic character in the franchise.
I used to be the biggest Tekken nerd insofar as I really loved the plot and characters. I had Tekken 1-3 complete because I had to have the instruction manuals with characte bios and plot info. I HAD TO KNOW EVERYTHING. I started with 3, I found Tekken 2 at some store and my grandmother actually special ordered Tekken 1 from somewhere. (she was not an Internet savvy woman so I really wonder at this stage o f my life where she found it. It was o cool of her to do this for me)
I'm sad the series lost its way and that I was one of those people who ragged on Tekken 4 when it came out. I guess it was doomed to failure given it was a sequel to the best fighting game of all time but in retrospect it was such an amazing, meaningful game.
But hey, to bring things back to the original point, Julia seems to have suffered the least of any of the characters. She's actually flourished from what I know.

I'm kinda disappointed she didn't keep her luchador gimmick.
What's she doing now sounds like it would've fit better for a new character. Then again, I suppose someone would just called that specific newcomer otaku bait like they did with Lucky Chloe so what would I know?
