Yeah, that was EEnE
She/they. Hirrus Clutumnus is my comfort characterAh Robot Jones, the one series that turned me into a genocidal maniac wishing for its incarnation of humanity to be destroyed. Good times.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Robot Jones came out later, in 2002, but Ed Edd N Eddy stopped using them after the fourth season in 2004, by which time Robot Jones had been canceled. So technically, by premiere date, Robot Jones would be the last show to use cels.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."The 7pm expansion has done well-enough already that Adult Swim will be taking over the 6pm slot a month early, in August rather than September. The 6pm slot will be a nostalgia block for older CN programming.
Oh that's great. I hope they do well in ratings.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.X2: Cited shows from the Deadline article include:
Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Discovery Kids, says the new nostalgia block plays to the inherent strengths of the art form. “Animation can both speak to multiple age groups in the moment, and also find new audiences across decades,” he said in a statement provided to Deadline. “The early Cartoon Network originals—like Dexter’s Laboratory or Courage the Cowardly Dog are examples of shows that do both.”
Furthermore, the Saturday 6 pm hour will be used for recent reruns the TV-PG originals like Unicorn: Warriors Eternal and My Adventures with Superman.
Checkered Past is a good idea for a block, even if I'm not as over the moon about its reveal as I should be.

Oh wow.
BTW If you guys are wondering "Well, why didnt they just put the nostalgia block on CARTOON NETWORK!?" it is because Nostalgia blocks attract lots adults and its a way safer bet to just cut to the chase and not depend on children who barely watch the channel anymore.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. It's not exactly new. You may remember a decade ago they revived Cartoon Planet, with Brak and Zorak hosting (and no Space Ghost) and all old CN shows... but that couldn't hold a candle to the brilliant original.
Still, I say it's welcome.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Yes but back then kids did outnumber adults watching now this is pretty much the only way.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I mean, knowing why a certain approach is being done doesn't automatically get rid of those thoughts and concerns. But either way, yes, I do like that we're getting a new nostalgia block.
What I choose to take from this is that UEW is a hit and CN should be letting Genndy make another season or whatever else he wants.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I didnt meant to erase your very valid concers which I also share BTW just wanted to explain that.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.holy shit i called it with the block lol
She/they. Hirrus Clutumnus is my comfort characterAt this rate, it’s not going to be very long before Adult Swim takes over the entire channel.
The adults are taking over!
New theme music also a boxMaybe, but maybe not. Ouweleen might be gradually injecting some of classic Cartoon Network's DNA into [adult swim] hours, and the nostalgia block might not be where it stops.

New theme music also a boxI feel like Chowder should be on an equal plane as Flapjack.
It's been 3000 years…No footage or promo images yet, but some Cartoon Network news out of Annecy:
- Tiny Toons Looniversity premieres in September

> The Amazing World of Gumball film is also going smoothly
I thought it was cancelled
New theme music also a boxSorry, speed-read. There was no mention of the movie.
Should also be noted that Foster's Imaginary Nursery may not air on Cartoonito or stream on Max: it's being pitched around.
Oh wow…
In some lighter news, though, we’re getting a third season of Primal!
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.
I thought Ed, Edd, n Eddy was the last show to use hand-painted cels...
