Robot Jones came out later, in 2002, but Ed Edd N Eddy stopped using them after the fourth season in 2004, by which time Robot Jones had been canceled. So technically, by premiere date, Robot Jones would be the last show to use cels.

The 7pm expansion has done well-enough already that Adult Swim will be taking over the 6pm slot a month early
, in August rather than September. The 6pm slot will be a nostalgia block for older CN programming.
Oh that's great. I hope they do well in ratings.

Furthermore, the Saturday 6 pm hour will be used for recent reruns the TV-PG originals like Unicorn: Warriors Eternal and My Adventures with Superman.
Checkered Past is a good idea for a block, even if I'm not as over the moon about its reveal as I should be.

BTW If you guys are wondering "Well, why didnt they just put the nostalgia block on CARTOON NETWORK!?" it is because Nostalgia blocks attract lots adults and its a way safer bet to just cut to the chase and not depend on children who barely watch the channel anymore.

It's not exactly new. You may remember a decade ago they revived Cartoon Planet, with Brak and Zorak hosting (and no Space Ghost) and all old CN shows... but that couldn't hold a candle to the brilliant original.
Still, I say it's welcome.

I mean, knowing why a certain approach is being done doesn't automatically get rid of those thoughts and concerns. But either way, yes, I do like that we're getting a new nostalgia block.
