Her spot on the trinity is largely honorary and well for optics since if we're being honest She's below Flash and Green Lantern
I vehemently disagree with this. She's the longest lasting female superhero of all time, with continuous publication from 1942 to 1986. She is so important that during the period in comics when Denny O'Neill was redefining Batman and Superman, he tried to do the same for Wonder Woman by removing her powers and making her do kung fu and Gloria Steinem raised hell, even putting Diana (in her original costume) on the cover of the first Ms. magazine. Nobody cared enough about the Flash or Green Lantern to do that.

For me, there are a few Wonder Woman writers that get her:

  • George Perez, who re-defined her after Crisis on Infinite Earths.
  • Greg Rucka, who really turned her into an ambassador to Man's World and who managed to save her character during the DC Rebirth.
  • Gail Simone, who really leaned into both the humor of WW and the horror (Simone is excellent at writing horror).
  • Renae de Liz, who wrote The Legend of Wonder Woman and managed to condense and recreate her Golden Age origin fantastically.

Phil Jiminez was pretty good too and I think is rather underrated.

Thats Her glory days which have been over for a while, Right Now She's below fucking Aquaman!

DC had a certified hit with the WW movie what happened?

Nothing

No Games

No Series

No boot to the ass in comics

No attempt to capitalize on the success and sudden interest in the world's greatest superheroine

Thats Her glory days which have been over for a while, Right Now She's below fucking Aquaman!
Uh, no, this is demonstrably false. Hell, even if we go by September 2019 sales, she's coming in at 61 and 62, while Aquaman is coming it at 144 and 252. Also, she's got several other comics coming out, too, including Wonder Woman: Come Back to Me, Wonder Woman: Death Earth, and the upcoming DC Black Label books Wonder Woman: Diana's Daughter and Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons.

DC had a certified hit with the WW movie what happened?
They also had a certified hit with Aquaman and you don't see new Aquaman books and games flooding the market, do you? Also, you do realize that Wonder Woman 1984 is coming out next year, right?

No Games
Do you know how long video games take to actually make?

No Series
If you are referring to TV series, then they literally can't make a Wonder Woman one — DC generally puts a block on using any movie characters in TV shows.

No boot to the ass in comics
Except for the fact that award-winning author and co-creator of Ms. Marvel G. Willow Wilson was hired to write Wonder Woman, which was a pretty big deal.

Speaking for myself I found Wilson's run started out promising but went downhill.

And her Wonder Woman run was fiercely criticised by the fanbase too...although, that said, fans have been critiquing the current volume since Rucka left, Diana's title has gone through a lot of upheaval since Rebirth started, having the most turn-overs as it pertains to the writing team. It's like nothing tends to stick. Maybe the writers get bored too quickly with her?

As for DC putting a block on movie heroes appearing on TV...that was debunked the moment Superman started appearing on CW's Supergirl, and especially now that he's getting his own show developed for the network

You know, for all everyone says Wonder Woman's gone downhill Post Crisis, I don't see anyone really talking about her before that. You don't see anyone talking that much about the Pre Crisis runs or how/if they really 'got' Wonder Woman before Post Crisis eventually fucked it up. Which makes me wonder if most writers ever really 'got' Wonder Woman in the first place.

None of which invalidates the fact that it was a big deal when she was announced as the new writer.

I'm sorry, show me the current Superman movie? The reason that Superman is allowed on Supergirl and now his own show is because there is no current movie plans for him. But after establishing the Suicide Squad in Arrow, suddenly they couldn't use them because WB was making a movie. They had to change the name of the group itself — to the "Ghost Initiative" — in order to use them last season.

Wonder Woman has been hinted and even referenced in the Arrowverse, but I doubt they will ever let her appear because they don't want "brand confusion." The only area that the WB will allow multiple characters to appear in is in animation, which is why we got Wonder Woman: Bloodlines.

You'd think that in an industry that revels in the concept of alternate universes, there'd be some leeway for stuff like alternate versions of a black ops team composed of supervillains or an immortal Amazon princess with a rope that makes people tell the truth.

...Unless of course, the people who watch DC shows and movies have zero clue how comics work because they believe comics are for nerds?

(Incidentally, I wouldn't be surprised if a comic writer for DC decides to use the "Ghost Initiative" name as an in-universe rip-off to the Suicide Squad.)

1. Could somebody here please list the most prominent and important reasons for why Batman is a good person?

2. If a considerably large number of Flash and Wonder Woman’s enemies can band together in an attempt to take them down, why is it so rare for Batman’s adversaries to do things like that?

3. I realize that someone is going to say that this statement is wrong somehow-

“Catwoman might be a kleptomaniac and jewel thief, but she’s a relatively harmless thief”

-and i just want to know why this statement is considered wrong

4. I realize that this question might seem a bit weird, to put it mildly, but why is that Damian rarely gets any shirtless scenes within the media, while both Dick Grayson and Tim Drake have been given quite a few? And, for that matter, why do they only have those type of scenes when they’re either in their mid-teens at the very youngest or when their nigh on to adulthood?

5. When all is said and done, who is Dick Grayson more compatible with in a romantic relationship; Barbara Gordon or Starfire?

6. Similarly, who is Wonder Woman better of with if she chooses to have a romantic relationship; Superman, Batman or Steve Trevor?

7. Why is it exactly that people keep saying that Catwoman is a better choice for Batman than Talia Al Ghul? I genuinely just want to know?

1, 5 and 6 are a bit too opinion-based for me to answer (though I not really interested in Diana's love life in general). As for the rest...

2. Presumably because there's a lot more animosity amongst themselves. The Batman Rogues Gallery is not the most stable bunch.

3. I dunno if it's wrong, per se, though I do know of at least one time where she shot and killed Black Mask.

4. Uh...isn't Damian, like, 12? I think you answered your own question there.

7. Talia, to my knowledge, is just kind of an awful person, particularly since Damian has entered the picture. I haven't read that many comics with her, though, so others might be able to do better here.

Talia got Grant Morrison'd where he just had her become outright evil and is little more then Ras with boobs

If you want to be perfectly honest, Batman dating supervillains has a hypocritical angle to it and only exists can Fellow Bat heroines are Squicky due to the nature of their relationships, and Age gaps... and no one liked Kathy

and then there is the stigma of a Hero dating a none hero

Ahem, you were the one that wrote, and I quote, "Thats Her glory days which have been over for a while, Right Now She's below fucking Aquaman!" None of my comments have been as confrontational as that. (Also, it was, again, demonstrably false.)

It's quite clearly directed at my post above about Wonder Woman. There are even two arrows pointing towards my post.

You on the other hand specifically picked a post just to call me out
And? You stated something that was incorrect, so I pointed it out. That's not "confrontational," that's called having a conversation. If you want to not be corrected when you say something that's wrong, then...no. That's not really how anything works. Saying "Yes, what I wrote was incorrect, but you didn't have to say it was incorrect!" is just silly.

I'm super excited for Kelly Sue DeConnick and Phil Jimenez's Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons, because, well, it's KSD and Phil Jimenez. Jimenez has been teasing the artwork for months and everything I've seen of it looks gorgeous.
