Is Frank Miller still doing that young Clark Kent story?
Golly jeekers, I can't wait to learn the heartwarming tale of how Jon Kent taught his boy how to nail Muzzies 'n' Queers to crosses, cover them in oil and light them on fire!
Yes and it goes as expected.
From what I heard he’s chronicling every piece of Clark’s origin in extreme detail.
Apparently the first issue is mostly about Krypton’s destruction.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."not really most of it is clark growing up in smallville
He had Clark join the goddamn marines.
My various fanfics.Anyone want to list the number of reasons why that is out of character?
Wake me up at your own risk. All of them. Every possible reason.
My various fanfics.I guess I'm not allowed to call myself political neutral or whatever anymore since I am in agreement that Superman as we know him today would never join the goddamned US army.
Maybe the salvation army or other humanitarian organizations.
I can see him travelling to help people, not hurt people.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."in the comic clark said he joined the navy because the seas and earth was calling to him and he wanted to figure out how to best use his powers.
also isnt this dkr superman just as a kid? that superman joining makes sense
I know some versions of Clark have spent time in war zones... as a reporter.
I kinda love that the thing that killed Satan in DC Comics canon is called THE SOUP.
My various fanfics.OK, so read the full issue of Aquaman and I can get why Kelly Sue said she'd be staying off social media
They've retconned it so that Arthur's amnesia didn't come from the events of Drowned Earth, but from an attack by Mera after Arthur asks for a little space to deal with her pregnancy
Well that's not going to be taken well.
I'm pretty sure there's more to it than that.
We need context cause it really doesn’t make anyone look good & it sounds weird.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."cause clearly people only join the military to hurt people
'has multiple friends and family in the military and you all are really towing a line'
Now if the argument was Miller can't be trusted to do anything that is an over the top Eagleland parody especially since He is the one that pushed Clark = Patsy of the goverment
That be one thing, I'd agree with you there

Aquaman was such a good book when Dan Abnett was writing it. It didn't take long to spiral down into worse than mediocrity under KSD's pen. Makes me sad. I have not read anything else she's written, and I've not been impressed at all by her writing on Aquaman.

Personally, I'm loving KSD's Aquaman.
Its not bad... its just not as good as Abnett
Who really was gung ho on showing that Aquaman can be a world player
KSD is more focused on the "sea" part of "sea king."
