DC is becoming a mess on creative right now in 2018 and now in 2019, especially with the BS of Heroes In Crisis debacle.
Its like they’re actively trying to chase customers away
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price. What else is being goofed up, apart from HIC?
Doomsday Clock. BENDIS. Superman. BENDIS. Justice League. BENDIS. Global Warming. BENDIS. Oh right that's not them....

Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayell...elaboration, please?
Doomsday Clock has become so delayed that many have given up.
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price.Well, personal taste wise I think Doomsday Clock is awful, Bendis' Superman has killed all the fun the books had, and the current Justice League is terrible...
Yuri fanfiction writer! http://www.fanfiction.net/~shanejayellSo on a semi related note how’s the new Aquaman? Also is Hawkman still good?
I've actually really been enjoying snyder's justice league run. his m.o. of everything has to be a big event to top the last works a lot better in jl than batman.
Hawkman's still good
Aquaman just changed teams
I'm liking Teen Titans with the new roster
Titans is getting better
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Apparently Arrow ending wasn't the plan from the creative team and that this is a mandate

Okay let's see why DC is on creative dowright spiral in 2018 and moving foward to 2019 especially Bendis taking away the fun Superman made by Gleason, Morrison's descontruction of the GL Mythos build Johns, Snyder handwaving Lex Luthor as a hero for the sake of a unnecessary Injustic League storyline, King killing heroes for no absolute reason, making Bruce Wayne a broken shell and making Harley OP Canon Sue, and last but not least the entire Ric Grayson debacle which is doing nothing for the character and it's proof they don't give f*ck thanks by Didio's complacency
Wait what’s Morrison doing to the GL’s?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Morrison is tearing down Johns' mythos? that's bizarre, considering what good friends they are.
They are?
I thought the new GL was pretty well received? (I’m waiting on the trade)
It feels like even if the pre flashpoint universe is restored it’ll still be a hollow victory
Whelp on the bright side I can always look to the past for good stories (My backlog has become HUGE.. I think I may have a problem

You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price.spoilers for the next heroes in crisis have been leaked blue and gold is back with ted rescuing booster saying bros before heroes, and harley and batgirl are teaming up to find the truth. the jl is split on the culprit with flash saying it's booster and wondie saying harley. the issue ends with clark telling the others of the trinity that lois got leaked data from sanctuary that shouldnt exist, and she released it as a story 35 seconds ago
Well that's one good thing that came out of this.
So the comixology DC sale ends today. Did any of you get anything from it (I got Robin Volume 2, 52 Volume 3, Secret Soldiers volume 2, Superman Birthright, and the first volume of Greg Rucka’s Wonder Woman run
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price. So, some yahoo started raising questions about whether Tom King actually served for the CIA.
And his wife doesn't hold back.
Can you say "mic drop''?
What really gets me is how shit the originator of that claim was at research, since that photo King posted isn't new. They can apparently manage to request info from the CIA itself, but can't do a scroll through King's Twitter photos, it seems.

My stories on AO3.Reading Captain Atom # 43 and this may be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. The gist of it is that Captain Atom put himself into the astral plane to try and talk with a hallucination of his dead wife because he can't get over her only to get himself killed in the process, which is dumb enough as is. The twist is that several extradimensional beings including two different representations of death (Sandman's Death and the Fourth World's Black Racer,) guided him into getting himself killed so that they could prepare him to deal with a third representation of death (Nekron) who wants to use Captain Atom's soul and merge with the Quantum Field so that he can kill every living being in the universe. The problem is that as far as I can tell, Nekron can only do this in the astral plane or afterlife. Meaning that if Death and the others hadn't guided Cap to that point or had restored his soul to his body sooner like they presumably planned, then this entire story didn't need to happen.
The really sad part is # 42 is actually pretty neat. It's a spiritual journey for CA, having him realize just how much of a hardnosed selfish idjit he could be sometimes (like in the issue right before it no less,) and that he often put his own needs above those of others. It's a surprisingly stirring road trip through purgatory. If only it didn't have him act like a total tool to get there. Nevermind what happens after.
Oh, and CA ends up looking like God. Or Jesus. Cuz symbolism. (Maybe it's because Ken Penders had something to do with this story arc. No, I'm not even kidding.)

IIRC Gaiman got pretty steamed at that story because it portrayed Death of the Endless, Nekron, and Black Racer as equals, whereas he intended DotE to be well above all other death-related beings.
Wait Tom King is Cia? Did he meet Bane on a plane?
Mileena Madness
martian man hunter gave it to him he told him that since he was on earth trying to stop Amanda waller while every other hero was either in space or incapacitated he showed he could be trusted with whatever it is
