Didio just comes off as a dick in general to me. Reading about him he seems like someone who never outgrew his college frat bro phase.

yeah and didio also wanted to kill off nightwing for years because he was redundant. which makes me think roy is gonna die. and since this is a dumber version of identity crisis and they said a flash will die at sdcc, im guessing wally is the murderer who gives up being the flash at the end

. . . Wait. Isn’t this the same bullshit logic that got Marvel in hot water on BOTH sides of the spectrums. Y’know the whole killing off classic heroes to make way for new characters they want, or the whole scrapping of legacy characters because they got nothing to work with them?

Yeah this is a pretty huge dumbass move. Especially with Tim who fucking worked his ass to be alive and back in this continuity. Seriously, I even boasted how DC currently is better than Marvel for not scrapping their characters during Rebirth.

Holly Dove and Dawn Hawk!

Can someone prove it with an issue or interview? Otherwise, as far as we know, he still has that less interesting “Trinity of Sin” origin.

Reading The Flash, and I don't quite get how Iris is holding back telling Barry that they were married in pre-flashpoint, it's caused a bit of an unnecessary argument between them in this week's issue. Hopefully Barry learns soon, so sick of this drama between them.

That is literally the entire point of the Dove character. Fuck's sake.

I like her costume tbh.

The Hawk & Dove costumes are like 1 for 1 straight outta the comics.

To the point you can make jokes they spent their entire costume budget on those two.

I do not get this clandestine thinking that Dove as the Avatar of Peace has to fit this Narrowminded Mold that Dove is either that useless one chasing after Hawk trying to stop him from hurting people or Dove fights but its in a way that doesn't hurt no one... Don only did that once and it nearly killed him.

I mean Wonder Woman self proclaimed mission is to promote and enforce The Peace, Yall don't whine about her busting dudes up

Honestly everybody making these complaints ties more in to the whole feedback for how edgy the live action Titans trailer turn out than actual knowledge of the character.

I mean I agree with you there: just because Dove is meant to represent peace doesn’t mean he or she have to act like a complete pussy and defend him/herself. After all a peaceful solotion means one with the minimal amount of violence, not being completely without conflict.

Side note, for some weird reason, I always find the original Hawk and Dove to be superhero versions of the Venture Bros. Which might not be coincidental seeing how the creators of that show have WAAAAAY too many reverences to pop culture of the past. Doesn’t help that the pair are name Hank and Don (almost as close as Hank and Dean).

Also, people have complained about Wonder Woman killing. Remember Maxwell Lord during thst OMAC Project crossover event. That was a major Never Live It Down moment for her both in and out of universe.

IIRC, most of the complaining was directed at DC for turning Max into a villain. And the only reason Diana was mistreated in universe was because most people didn't know why she actually killed Max. In a previous story by the same writer she decapitated Medusa on national tv and no one said a word against it. Not even Superman and Batman.

Then again their rule doesn't apply to non humans.
