I prefer my bacon on the chewy side honestly.
We're mostly referring to the American variety, but we could also talk about back bacon, for our UK and Canadian brethren.

I adore crunchy bacon to the point of near-overcooking, because it feels nice and it's really satisfying to eat. However, chewy bacon has its own merits. For one, it's faster to cook.

I like crunchy bacon, because it's less fatty.
I only like chewy bacon in sandwiches and burgers.

I like my bacon somewhat on the crunchy side myself.
And I once tried a chocolate bar that had bacon in it...not my kind of thing, really.
