Until the next one.
It will end when it stops making money, presumably people continue to buy these games (for whatever reason).

"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnFinally a good Sonic game.
I still haven't seen Ready Player One. I should get around to that.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Okay, this isn't an Honest Trailer, but it must be seen. Or rather, I "mustache" you to see it.
I love that.
Amusing and decently informative. I think I may start watching their other interviews.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -Hylarnlol didn't realize Henry was really wearing those fake mustaches and not a CG fake that was added. Props to the actor for making it seem that the mustaches weren't really there in the first place.
The best Peter Pan movie.
The Ready Player One honest trailer left me feeling depressed afterwards.
Whyzat?

I should play that game.
So the games high-points are essentially the pretty sprite art/backgrounds & classic JRPG combat right?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Some of the stories are pretty entertaining.
Nothing to really call home about, but Primrose and Olberic's in particular are pretty engaging.
I’m just reminded of a joke about JRPG stories while watching videogamedunkey’s video of the game.
Something bout back then JRPG’s were the height of video game story telling but in this age of your choices can directly affect the story & motion capture & the like he’d cut to a clip of Xenoblade 2 about friends in comparison.
Heh Taveller should be a fun game, I like the demo well enough.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."These "classic JPRG" throwback games hold no initial appeal to me due to never growing up on anything more complex or intricate than Pokemon, but I'd still want to try this one out.
Octopath is fun. It does do much better on the strenght of its gameplay and visuals than its storytelling. Even by JRPG standard, the plots are all... pretty simple. Some definitely better than the others. But this is no FF 6. I also get the feeling the writers struggled by points to give all 8 characters 4 chapters. Some character have continuous, engaging narratives for all chapters. Others have chapters that feel like they are padding to even out the number of dungeons.
Honestly it lacked the real world building and such really needed for an RPG, but so did the SNES RP Gs outside Chrono Trigger.
Get The Legend Of Heroes Trails In The Sky to really see what an older RPG can really do.
I'd put one of its major selling points personally as the modularity of its story.
It's easy to pick up and play for a couple of hours and beat a chapter, then come back in a few days and move onto another without feeling like you're lost.
Really plays to the strengths of thew Switch as a system in my opinion.
You just made me realize that I forgot to add Trails in the Sky to my "List of Games to work though". That's a mistake I will be correcting.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobHave you actually played it? Coz it has world building. Thats one of the few parts where the game's story actually has complexity, having a backstory and entire history that shows through the various sidequest.
World Building a plenty. It's just that the main plots are very... simple. And use a repetitive structure with only one chapter out of 32 not following the formula the Honest trailer lists.
I should play that at some point.
Well, continue to play it. It's a serious slog so far, and I'm at a point where there's no indication of where to go or what to do so I might have to start over anyway.
... you know what, never mind. It'll just fester forever.

As far as spooks go, I think this is the final one.
