First footage.
I just hope there's enough going on in this movie for someone to recreate this in live-action:
Looks good. Like the voice of Zenigata's actor.
Lupin's actor's voice isn't as great as Yasuo Yamada's or Kanichi Kurita's, but it's ok.

Not sure, but we don't really hear him aside from his "No no no no" bit at the end.
I had the impression he spoke more than that, but I might be wrong.
Better look at the footage.
That may be Lupin at the beginning of the trailer.
I wonder will they keep the Latex Perfection trope.
With the technology we have today, that could be pulled off well. Or not.
Didn't the first Mission Impossible have some Latex Perfection?
I never saw the first one, but the third one has latex Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.Has anyone seen Ryuhei Kitamura's other films besides Godzilla Final Wars?
Yahoo! Movies of Japan has given us another trailer.
Honestly, I dig it.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)I'm curious who the father killed was. Part of me thinks it's Lupin II, but I'm sure that's just the trailer lying.
Lupin disguised as his own father!
It's been confirmed...following on the heels of Rurouni Kenshin's 2nd movie (which achieved unprecedented success), Lupin III will also be showing on cinemas here in the Philippines, with the premiere set at Sept. 17. Three of the cast and the director of the former visited the country as well...maybe something similar with Lupin III will happen too?
All in all it's a resurgence of Japanese movies in general over here in the Philippines. Started with anime movies (including a showing of Gundam Unicorn's ep 6 and 7), then the likes of Rurouni Kenshin's first, and of course the sequel, and the third to follow almost immediately too. And then we'll be getting Lupin III as well...
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.edited 22nd Aug '14 6:14:54 PM by comicwriter
Was finally able to catch the film, LOVED IT. Goemon felt slightly "off" in terms of facial expressions, but not... wrong exactly. Just different. It might just be the difference between a live actor doing the eyes closed thing and the cartoon keeping his eyes closed. My only other guess is that the actor's face is too round. Goemon seems thinner.

I love the way this looks. Can't wait to see a trailer or something. And Zenigata rockin' the Perma-Stubble fits his character really well.
