Meanwhile in an unknown dimension, a black and red mech floats in space; its head surrounded by crimson holographic screens. As it goes through the data a sultry woman's voice suddenly comes from one of the many screens.

Neith to Anubis, looks like old Idolo has caused quite the drama with the TSAB didn't it?

I am not interested in idle chatter. Have you secured all of Frame Idolo's parts, purified the magical device it had usurped and the stray shards of Metatron left behind?

Yes sir.

Good, the combat data from its merger with the Magical Device should intrigue our creator.

Sir, should I... Remain here once I have dropped my parcel off? Just in case some others have been... Infected by the Metatron.

Negative Neith. And that was your most transparent excuse yet.

You're no fun at all sir.

And you need a patch for that bloodthirstiness.

The Red machine named Anubis dismisses the comms screen and continues sifting through data.

By the Time the TSAB had come for Nanoha, there was nothing left other than the girl herself and the core of Raising Heart right next to her; having crashed due to the battle damage and an invasive hacking procedure.

Ah, okay. To be honest, it just left me kinda confused.

(back at Hammonds)

(Sho's back to wandering the streets, having get rid of all the glass and piecing himself back together in general)

...(glances at where the fighting took place just a moment ago, noting it odd that it seems so... battle-less all of a sudden...)

Stinger! This is gonna be good.

We haven't seen the last of Nanoha and Fate, either. Not by a long shot. TSAB's gonna wanna investigate this strange alternate dimension...

Oh, indubitably.

I also love how Sho just got kicked around the entire area and then nobody cares for him after all, be it an ally or an enemy. ^_^;

Sorry about that. It was, however, kinda personal business between Fate and Zombie Idolo; this was always their big plot.

Also, who's CMOAing this? I would, but I don't know what Zombie Idolo got up to all day (which was night for me).

It's okay, not a problem.

Not too good on doing crowners... we could just fill in one segment at a time, back when it was about duking it out with Cyberna in Whiterun.

Done my part on the CMOA entry.

Also, a curiosity: Which of my Shout Outs did you guys get? I did a few in Fate's Aegis chant, and then a couple before that.

In all honesty, I got nothing.

I'll lurk into CMOA's, see what I can add.

I'm relying on you to clarify about your character, I just wrote Sho(?) because that's all I know, so you'd better fix that.

Yeah, I've noticed.

In fact, these question marks are perfect. I'll remove those regarding Personas, but hey, why not adding a bit to the confusion.

In any case, I've managed to clean this up a bit and add some crowner for Sho himself.

Oh god, I was just archive binging on Zombie Idolo's shenanigans before this final battle, while listening to certain songs, and I just thought of the most epic thing...

Zombie Idolo versus Walpurgis Night. Imagine it.

If I'd actually seen enough to know Walpurgis' capabilities, I'd want to play it. But I wouldn't know where to start. I don't know if she even canonically has that vicious fire attack she loves to spam in Grief Syndrome.

It would need to be scaled down in size like Idolo was, but the prospect is interesting.

I could add a Balrog of Moria to the equation to make it an eldritch-three way.

And then The Hobo Tortle spawns a Colossus. And then some poor hapless newbie spawns a comparatively ordinary character. And then Knowlessman shows up and unleashes the Big "WHAT?!". MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

I remember back when I first started playing in v1. I was that hapless newbie. Spawned a 14-year-old apprentice wizard in right next to Poseidon and Chernabog. [lol]

Biggest character I've ever brought in the Arena was probably the Hulk, earlier this thread. :/ Could probably throw something together, though.

Hm, I think mine would be either Senator Armstrong - poor Snake/Raiden - or Balrog although the latter didn't get to do much yet.

Conversely, I like using Mooks every now and then.

Aye. :)

(if one were to listen closely)

(he would hear some pretty loud buzzing)

(turns out, there's this giant tarantula hawk floating by the cafe, likely in search for food)

And on main street, a dimensional portal forms and out of it comes a robot that seems to look like a floating shield with guns bolted on the sides and a tiny head. Not only that, its propulsion systems seem to be projecting a hypersonic frequency that the giant wasp may find unbelievably irritating.

Just no doing things for other players if possible.

(but yeah, it does seem to be peeved, as it floats somewhat higher, its wings raising)

(it speeds out of the cafe and takes notice of the bot, likely the source of this awful noise)

...(charges like a speeding semi, intent on stinging the offender. While it might not be aware that this robot would likely be immune to its poison, the sheer impact of the sting should be enough to leave a dent at least)

The Robot is oblivious to the threat up until the last moment where the giant wasp was mere feet away, being essentially a giant floating shield it does what it was made to do: Tank the blow like a punching bag which is to say it merely angled itself to face the mutant parasitoid. The hardened stinger fails to penetrate the futuristic alloy that the bot is made of, but the sheer impact does knock the bot back a few meters; causing it to crash back-first into a car, quite stunned despite not really having anything resembling a brain.

(vicious like an attack dog)

(Cazador charges forward, going for more generally only vaguely aimed stings. They still carry a lot of power for something of supposedly flimsy stature)

The Robot manages to recover just as the Cazadore once again charges.

Initiating self-defense protocol.

Gliding backwards and generally relying on its shield-like torso to tank the blows but taking care not to get its head hit, the bot's gun-arms activate both firing a shotgun-spread of low-power energy shots.

(seeing that the enemy begins to defend itself)

(it flies to the left to avoid incoming energy blasts)

(cue another charge from the flank as it tries to topple or/and knock it down)

The robot is really good at turning around at least, as it was able to "parry" the Cazador's sting with the side of its shield and even the simple, ultra-watered down AI driving it knew an opportunity when it saw it and proceeded to fire a pair of laser beams at the Wasp's center of mass; it seems that the AI is really shitty as an attack like that would have been much more effective if it had aimed for the wings.
