-Piroko is shaken and briefly deafened by the frag, but keeps her footing-

-she's got the shrapnel out, and is bandaging her wound-

"My name is Fate Testarossa, and I too seek a worthy opponent. Show yourself, and I will be your challenger."

She holds out her hand, and the yellow jewel from the back of it transforms into a black and silver weapon, half mage's staff, half halberd, with a gold orb on its head. Gold magic flows from it over her clothes, transforming them, and a black cape drapes itself over her.

Get set.

(Homura runs over to a position where cover won't protect you and she's within range, and fires her shotgun straight at you)

The figure finally makes a reappearance... turns out he's standing directly behind Fate, holding what appears to be a futuristic sword hilt in each hand. He holds them in reverse grip, like an assassin holding a knife.

Despite having a clear opening, he doesn't attack at all, instead courteously waiting for her to turn around.

Looking around, Fate spots him out of the corner of her eye, and jumps forward out of range. She then walks away a couple more paces at a more sedate pace when she sees he's not attacking, before turning back to him, holding Bardiche at the ready.

Scythe Form.

Bardiche's head reconfigures itself subtly, and a blazing crescent of golden lightning magic bursts from it, forming a scythe blade.

"Yes. Let us begin, Ryth."

And so we match again, Hobo.

(well, that's some crazy shit))

(Homura manages to block much of the salvo with a magical barrier, and leaps out of their path just as the barrier falters)

(panting from the strain (and magic drain) that creating said barrier caused, Homura responds with a frag immediately followed up with an RPG)

-having expended all of her ammo in her rocket launcher, Prioko takes a second to reload the rifle and take out another rocket launcher, before the RPG knocks her off of her feet-

-she scrambles to get the weapons, and readies them; this takes about ten seconds-

Ryth, as a practitioner of the Aegis Forms, briefly bows to Fate, as a sign of respect, before raising his sword hilts...

Suddenly, blades of pure, crackling red, solar energy burst from their ends, turning his dual sword hilts into dual lightsabers laser swords solar blades, and he assumes a battle stance, as a traditional sign of challenge.

NOTE: Ignore the purple swords in the avatar - In-game, his blades are actually red. And, yes, may the best fighter win.

Also, is Piroko firing her rocket launcher at Homura's feet, or just the rifle? This will affect the way Homura dodges and her success.

(Homura leaps into the air to dodge the salvo aimed towards her feet, but the shockwave from the rockets sends her tumbling)

(getting up, and more visibly wounded than before, she then pulls out a high-caliber sniper rifle, hopefully strong enough to pierce kevlar, then fires a couple rounds towards Piroko)

-Piroko exchanges her heavy weapons for a 50-cal. silenced pistol before a bullet penetrates her armor, hitting her shoulder-

-she fires several rounds anyway-

At first, Ryth doesn't seem to notice her attacking, and just as the scythe is about to spear his head... his swords are up as well, easily parrying the blow in a swift and graceful movement.

Impressive. But you need to be faster to beat me...

A split second later, Ryth is spinning on one foot, sending one of his notorious roundhouse kicks straight towards Fate's noggin.

Sorry about that, had to go to dinner. But I'm back now...

(Homura does that old "sprint out of aim tactic, though one of the bullets manages to hit her in her left upper arm)

(Homura leaps up into the air, summoning a fuel truck from her shield)

(landing atop the hood of said truck, Homura uses her magic to accelerate it towards Piroko on the ground, before jumping off it to leave it to coast towards her)

With nothing else to call on, Fate takes one hand off Bardiche and tries to block the kick on her wrist... obviously, it doesn't work too well, being a very hasty desperation move, and she goes tumbling away. She rolls to her feet, but her vision's still swimming.

Photon Lancer, Full Autofire!

So she compensates with More Dakka, peppering Ryth and the area around him with dozens of individually-weak blasts of golden energy.

-Piroko barely dodges the truck, and empties her magazine at Homura-

-she's clearly hurt and tired-

(Homura takes the bullets to her chest like a boss)

(well, she crumples to the ground and is now breathing hard and is prone, but she's still alive)

(pulling out a Desert Eagle, she fires at the still-coasting fuel truck - causing it to explode behind Piroko and hopefully consume her)
