The giant Pokemon starts absorbing the sun's rays, firing them in a large beam at the Metal Gear.

Fate points Bardiche at Archer, and starts gathering her own magical power. A yellow magical seal appears beneath her, and lightning starts arcing around her.

Almost simultaneously, Fate unleashes a powerful beam of lightning magic in Archer's direction. Despite this, Hrunting's speed is such that her Thunder Smasher stops it just short of her, before swatting it aside on the way to Archer.

The Metal Gear quickly shuts its mouth, and the beam of sunlight collides with the thick armour plating on its head, leaving a sizable burn.
REX quickly recovers, and starts lumbering towards the giant Pokémon.

Scythe Form!
Bardiche transforms into a Reaper-esque scythe, with a blade of crackling lightning energy, and Fate uses it to quickly dispatch most of the blades in turn, dodging the couple she doesn't cut down and cutting them down afterwards (having learned her lesson about leaving Archer's swords in play). She then draws the scythe back...
Arc Saber!
...and slashes it at Archer, despite the distance between them. The blade of the scythe seems to detach, flying at Archer like a crackling boomerang.

Sorry, I didn't specify, but the scythe's blade was made of magic energy - could he still do that?
A pissed-off Fate holds Bardiche solemnly before her in a two-handed grip, and starts gathering even more magic energy.
I can sense he is gathering magical power for something strong. I had better prepare my own endgame.

Magic energy exists in the Nasuverse, so I don't see why not. Also, since we're not really in the present world, I think Archer shouldn't have an issue with materials for the sake of this game - it's what I do in the Room. (Uber-weapons like Ea are still impossible, though.)
(Archer's focus returns to Fate, his own expression solemn)

The seals follow Archer, and once he is in midair, gold rings bind his arms and legs. The lightning continues to blaze around Fate, and now she is surrounded by a veritable swarm of her lightning orbs.

The swarm of lightning orbs starts to shoot towards Archer, some spiralling off to intercept any blades heading towards Fate, the rest flying directly towards Archer, a huge Magic Missile Storm.

(Archer summons more and more and more swords to be launched into the air, intercepting Fate's danmaku barrage with his own)
(he summons Kanshou and Bakuya to his hands, using them to deflect whatever of Fate's orbs get through)
(as this goes on, even more blades fly to attack Fate from behind and below, aiming to override the defense of orbs)

Gritting her teeth, Fate summons more and more balls of lightning, keeping up her barrage...
Explosions fill the space between her and Archer...
But she starts to weaken, the barrage slows...
...and then she can't do anything about the blades from behind and below, and they start cutting gashes in her Barrier Jacket... and skin.
Aye. For her memory!
Oh God, Fate vs. Cyberna... I should actually write that fanfic... so... much... Danmaku...

Fate condenses her last few energy orbs into a spear of light, and with a defiant sweep of her arm and cry of desperate rage, flings it flying at Archer, hopefully powerful enough to deflect any sword that tries to stop it...
...and her cry becomes a scream of pain as a couple more swords land more significant hits on her, and she is forced to her knees, her magic nearly depleted, the last of it forming instinctive shields to block the swords flying at her as she huddles, head in hands, her spirit as broken as her body.

(but the force behind Fate's throw, combined with Archer's wounded arm, cause him to get blown back)
(his own Prana running low, his Reality Marble fades away, returning the two combatants to Mos Eisley)
(getting up, and showing exhaustion, Archer approaches Fate, a final sword forming in his hand)
