...I'm not sure why "crusade" would sound futuristic. It has a more medieval vibe to me.
Reaction Image RepositoryYou know, it occurred to me...we know that Big Mac isn't transgender, and Applebloom knows...but how would everypony else know? I mean, from what I've read, some people realize it when they're 3, some when they're 73. Who's to say that, hypothetically speaking, that couldn't have been the case here?
Oh God! Natural light!Sounds like a fantasy word to me. Sorta sounds like what fantasy Paladins call when they are detecting and smiting all 'evil' (evil being whatever they disagree with, being Paladins and all).

Avatar by Pastel Mistress: http://pastelmistress.deviantart.com/I'm only intrigued because Big Mac wishes he was an alicorn (and only princess and changelings have had both wings and horns), and he speaks more when he's in a dress.
@Karkat: Given the specific situation everyone probably made the correct assumption that he was just trying to fill in for AJ.

Not an unreasonable assumption, but the parallels are still enough to make me feel uncomfortable.
Overall, it's a bitter pill, but I can bear it and look forward to next week.
Oh God! Natural light!@Karkat: If it were just at random I think they might've thought so, but the fact he shows up in drag on the day of the Sisterhooves Social to compete with Apple Bloom when Applejack is absent means that "he's in disguise to compete with his sister" is much more likely than "he's trans". I mean, the latter is a possibility, but probably not the first thing that would come to mind for most people.
There's also the fact that crossdressing =/= trans person. They could've just thought that Big Mac felt like dressing up for whatever reason without necessarily thinking that he identified as female. "He's a drag queen" is just as much of a possibility.

Reaction Image RepositoryDoes this episode show that, in a way, Applejack is a masculine girl and mac is the feminine boy?
Well, AJ wasn't particularly masculine in this episode, but I could kinda see that.
Reaction Image RepositoryHe does like dolls and dreams of being a pretty princess, so he is a bit more feminine than you'd think from looking at him.
Big Mac certainly does have a feminine side.

Reaction Image RepositoryHuh, I suppose it does!
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Irish: Gilgamesh is recurring, but not to the same extent as other elements (such as every game having a Cid). The only other games I recall him showing up in, besides 5 and 12, are 8 and Revenant Wings.
Also, you probably don't want to Zombie your whole party. It counts as an incapacitation status effect, which means all four party members having it will cause a game over.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiHe also appears in 14: A Realm Reborn somewhere. I don't know where as I never got to fight him, but one of my friends managed to iirc.
Avatar by Pastel Mistress: http://pastelmistress.deviantart.com/I just looked at the transcript for the latest episode and learned that I had heard a Mondegreen when "Orchard Blossom" first appeared. It turns out the line was "It's hotter today than the business end of a corncob PIPE" instead of "corncob pie" like I initially thought. Which I was confused by, because it made me wonder why anyone would make a pie using corncobs.

Also, can anyone tell me where the whole thing involving bat pony characters came from? I mean, we have only had one in the show and she was artificially created and not aware what was going on during her short time existing (yet again, Fluttershy post-'Bats!' might be still part bat pony)
Yet again, mech/robot ponies are a thing in the fandom too so bat ponies don't really look out of place.
Avatar by Pastel Mistress: http://pastelmistress.deviantart.com/^Luna's Royal Guards are bat ponies. That's more or less how it started, and Flutterbat just made the Bat Pony craze even more popular.
I still don't understand why people think the bat ponies are a different species though. Given all the other theatrics in Luna Eclipsed, it seemed likely to me that the bat ponies were just an illusion too.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayCompletely forgot they were in that episode. So they may or may not exist after all.
Avatar by Pastel Mistress: http://pastelmistress.deviantart.com/Well we don't really have any sort of official word one way or the other, so the fandom went with the idea that was cooler, and bat ponies existing is cooler than them just being an illusion.
Thanks to Bats we do know that it's possible for them to be real, if fabricated. I've personally gone the middle road and interpreted them as real, but so rare as to be borderline unique - Luna's guards have never met or heard of another Bat Pony, for example.
That said, bear in mind the majority of the show takes place in a small country town. I can speak from experience that small country towns don't tend to be enormously diverse. We've also only seen a couple of griffons and a single minotaur. It's possible that Bat Ponies are just a foreign tribe, and we've only seen a few of them because Ponyville isn't a significant enough population area to warrant any immigrants moving there.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. The developers just don't want to admit that the world can be saved by a bunch of undead just as easily (if not more so!) than a bunch of meatbags.
Though our definition of "save" might be a touch different...
I meant to say that, because of Mac in this episode, this would make him and Applejack MG and FB. Their personalities have this. Applejack would rather arm wrestle with Rainbow Dash, a tomboy in her own right and Big Mac would rather stay quiet and that may be why fans would ship him with Fluttershy since they're both really introverted, with Applejack and RD in the extroverted area.

Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty.
I'm agnostic but I do luke religious terms like crusader or evangelion. These words sou nd strangely futuristic.
