Digimon are all data. Sexual reproduction isn't a thing there, from what it seems.

They can be any gender they wish anyway. I agree it is kind of odd seeming, but eh.

I think whoever said that might have had Mervamon mixed up with her brother...

Probably more likely that.

I mean, the entire Biyomon line doesn't really seem odd if it was male or female.

Either way, looking at her JP designs, I think i'll really start to love this character.

On now, and I really hate lord zamiomon's VA and Merv's clevage cover.

Wow, I did not see that ending coming. Also, TRIPLE FUCKING PREMIERS NEXT SUNDAY!

I still do, but Nicktoons kinda keeps moving the premieres up. >_>

It's just an extra new premier every Sunday now, probably to speed up to the finale. Chances are they'll also dub the third part(Boy hunters) as well.

*sigh* Yeah, that's gonna be fun.

Also, Ballistamon's arc was done well. He usually gets the bulk of the jokes in the dub (the writers can put whatever they want for his dialogue since he doesn't have lipflaps), not so much in these couple episodes. :)

I wish Nick had some kind of mature-er toonami clone(like Slam) so we can get a dub to Adventures tri.

They do have the option to air this on the main channel, though if it didn't work for this season it'd just be a premonition.

First I want to apologize to King Kix, I made a promise to post here but I just couldnt be arsed to find the thread, since I lost much of my interest when it flopped. I really appreciate the work Ben Diskin and everyone put on the show but I just dont have the patience to even talk about it anymore. I've moved on to Adventure Tri and praying with all my might that Saban wont touch it.

I can talk about the handling and business side of the show but not about the actual plot of Xros Wars or Fusion.

What do you mean "flopped"? It still has a fuckload of dubbed episodes left. They didn't end it, just put it on hiatus.

It's presumedly on hiatus cause the double episode premieres caught up with the current recording (there's 13 episodes left). A couple weeks ago Ben said he wrapped up so it's only a matter of time before the final mixes are done.

Its not a success. And according to that logic, Mermaid Melody is a success because every episode is dubbed. I know it seems really shallow of me, but Im more focused on the potential and now that's been squandered I cant care, sorry.

It doesn't matter — the good part of the show is dubbed, and Boy Hunters sucked. I COULD worry about Tri's movie series, but not really the time to worry about whether it'll hit the States.

I know, I know. I never said anything agaisnt that. I just dont care about Fusion, because I did watch it and I didnt like what I saw, I loved the acting of Mikey, Shoutmon, Reapmon/Beelzemon and the rest like Angie and so on, but the tone and writing is just...off. And since this topic is specifically about the dub I cant say much about it.

I still can discuss Digimon Fusion business side, like when it airs, and the DVD releases and where it airs. But not much else sorry.

So are they not dubbing The Young Hunters Leaping Through Time?

I dunno, but I wouldn't bet on it. People do want it to happen so the earlier Digimon actors can reprise their characters (which would be one time that having extra lines in a script would come in handy, not many of them had a good amount of dialogue).

Ok Since King Kix did me a HUMONGOUS favor and I have come to change my mind on earlier statements, I will say this.

Digimon Fusion is great. I like that the cast loves the fans and the show and that they are working to make the newer episodes more true to the japanese when posible. And I like that its an anime aimed at kids that still puts out new episodes on a kids channel.

I still hope that Saban Brands dubs Adventure Tri Differently or that someone else handles it though.

Fusion returns with double premieres July 4th weekend continuing through August.

Thank god! It's about time. Then after this season, They'll probably acquire that newer season of Yu-Gi-yo Zexel.

Even if the Dub is a lot safer, Ewen's story arc and logic is still pretty fucked up. How sad.
