Inner Being (Sigh-Ups)

First thing first: This is rather open-ended, but there are plenty of plot threads and several overarching plotlines. You're not forced to follow any specific path, and I'm mainly interested in what kind of things your characters get up to.

With that out of the way, I'll explain the concept now. In short, the day-by-day random events of a person and the manifestation of their personality. In universe, the human is called the Outer Shell while their (true) personality's physical form is called the Inner Being. The exact reasons and history behind the Outers/Inners is unknown even to most of the Shells, with Inners hardly if ever giving answers beyond the necessary. To some degree, Inners will be controlled by me since I don't want them being the characters' yes men or being used for free answers.

From here, I'll state there is much to learn about the Outer/Inner concepts and history. Furthermore, one's Inner is not automatically human in appearance. In fact, two people with similar personalities (say pacifism) can have radically different Inners. While one is a giant suit of armor with nigh-invulnerability the other can easily be a small child with mild telekinesis and force field/healing powers. Speaking of, your Inner will be given rough points based off of your character's true personality which you can fill out. Now here is the application format.

• Character Name: (Anything goes, but if they're honestly have some messed up name I want corresponding backstory and personality effects because of that)
• False Personality: (Entirely optional)
• True Personality: (Who they really are)
• Inner: (Insert name here) Besides listing rough points you'll make this after I give my two-cents.
• Biography: (List all the important stuff here, and secret info can be P Med if they're too important to list)

• Character Name: Ezekiel Jones.
• False Personality: Cheerful goofball who fails to take anything seriously, always smokin' and jokin'.
• True Personality: A serious, ruthless man who will protect his family and friends with everything he has.
• Inner: Joko the Eternal, rough points include being serious, powerful, and tough to wound. A silver back gorilla Gears for shoulders that extend into metallic arms, a straw hat with one red eye glaring out of the shadows, and various pipes coming out of his back bellowing steam. Joko is manifested, but is rather good at hiding.
• Inner's powers: Metal manipulation to a small degree, not capable of breaking and bending bridges, but can bend gun barrels and catch bullets. Extreme strength from enhancements and biology, healing factor and thick skin.
• Biography: Jones once had a family, a long, long time ago. His hair was brown then, not the silver it is today. His eyes are hidden by shaded glasses, hiding the thousand yard stare he gained from the same incident that stressed his hair to change silver. Jones is former military, getting out of the Marine Corps as a Corporal.

Its mostly a transplant of our own reality, so it would be twenty-thirteen there. Though when I said rough points I meant I would list them and then you would fill out the actual concept. But I'll say you're spot on with what I would of chosen. Is there a special reason he has silver hair, and does he have his Inner yet? I'll explain in more detail once the RP starts how Inners manifest.

KK, I'll wait for you to post your character profile before I post mine, in order to get a better idea about how to craft her bio. (Yep, it is a girl once again.)

This time, I'd like to work with another important aspect of my personality that has caused me too much pain and suffering, even up until this day: Depression. That will be an integral part of her true-self.

To be honest I wasn't going to make a character application as a player, but... Guess I do have one concept I would like to use. It would also go to show age/gender/appearance isn't really a fixed factor, so you can be a heterosexual male and easily have a female Inner without any weird gender stuff or an overly feminine personality. The application in question would also show the Inners have some degree of a separate personality than their Outers, as my character's Inner is far more loyal than he is. They are quite an enigma, I don't even fully understand them. I'll put up mine later/soon enough.

• Character Name: Cornelius Hawking
• False Personality: Friendly, if not a bit awkward.
• True Personality: Has trust issues, and despite a rather rational and calculating mind will descend into madness should things he has personal problems with be brought up. Aside from this he is a social shut-in, preferring to stay home than explore the world and focuses more on his own interests.
• Inner: Sarah Nexus
• Biography: Nineteen years old, male, silver eyes, black hair.

Its still a work in progress, but in simpler terms: The False Personality can simply be a mask or additions/subtraction of their natural personality. In turn, the True Personality should be the more major or highlighting elements of their personality so you aren't forced to make them completely on the spot. Character Development was kind of intended with this. Inners are based off said major/hightlights of your personality, so if you also enjoy ballet but doesn't really stick out there wouldn't be elements of that in the Inner. Another thing, when it comes to your Inner their form/mannerisms being based off some deep-seated desire of the Outer would be a plus.

Important detail, Inners are naturally inclined to helping their Outers (assuming you're not such a warped bastard they'll kill you without a moment's hesitation that is). Thus, while still behaving somewhat similarly to the Outer's true self the Inner would still want to help them. Also, they are not a publicly known thing and things tend to go horribly wrong when Inners are duking it out in public.

Another important detail, Inners are not immortal. I intend to show what happens when an Inner dies somewhat early in the RP. Inners tend to manifest when their Outer is in peril, though their "growth speed" is rather wild so you can be in plenty of life-threatening events just to have your Inner manifest to knockout someone trying to steal your backpack. Thus some Inners manifest when their Outer is newly born, while others manifest on your death bed. It really depends, though if you are gonna croak when they manifiest Inners tend to kill ya to get it over with.

The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.

• Character Name: Archer Gerudo (not related to the desert)
• False Personality: Usually pretty quite, but friendly enough. A bit sarcastic at times.
• True Personality: A bit of a cloudcuckoolander, but as stubborn as a bull and defensive. Hammy.
• Inner: Dark Sol. Rough points include being defensive, persistent, and extremely unpredictable. Manifest as a humanoid being in a suit of Scary Impractical Armor carved with intricate, but ultimately only aesthetic, designs. Carries around a giant, razor-edged shield.
• Biography: "Tall", always wearing around this coat/jacket/thing, SOUL-PIERCING EYES (a bit like Majora's Mask. Or Dirge.), Wears glasses, eighteen years old, male, dark brown hair

I'm open to suggestions, if anyone has any.

Still not what I meant by rough points, and thinking it over what I list as rough points would be physical traits and generic listing of abilities. But like Jashin, I'll just let you make your Inner from scratch.

In the least I need to know everyone's location and current position in life.

Is this an alternate earth, or the one we reside in currently?

Until said otherwise, its mostly the same as ours. Feel free to create alternate history, and Inners are likely to be behind some things or be in places they weren't in our reality. For some reason, it is kind of fun giving Hilter a reluctant superhuman abomination. Plus there are plenty of groups that deal with the Inners, ranging from those enforcing the masquerade to those who have zoos on a private island. Plus, there's a tendency for people to be erased from existence given the nature of Outer/Inner pairs.

Can you edit that into your application in addition to what your Inner will be? Plus, how did his hair change colors and has he already manifested his Inner?

I'm guessing Joko manifested in an event that Jones would otherwise not notice him? Though, besides the whole "Cyborg Gorilla that speaks human" thing why would Joko be hiding from his Outer?
